  1. Cause that's what they do... They draft defensive linemen in the top 10 year after year and then watch them leave as regimes come and go... They're idiots.
  2. Not a one has been aired in SWVA yet, but direct TV stream cures that issue. That being said, super pumped about this game- first the bye week, then last week I was driving and didn’t get to see much of the game. Excited to watch beginning to end.
  3. I don't know about Star's performance, but I'd be willing to bet a bigger issue for the Run D last week was missing Milano. As for Star, I've seen stuff that says he's doing his job well this year. People won't agree on either end because, like most bills players, there's a lot of preconceived ideas about him. Contractually, he's probably overpaid, but It's not like we're using the money right now anyways.
  4. Or maybe Terrell Pryor? Tag this under "posts that didn't age well"
  5. I'm inclined to believe the Player in this situation, but the only evidence of his admitting it is the player saying he did. It's all he said he said at this point, and I doubt we'll ever get the full scoop. Either way, screw the jets.
  6. I'm fine with Miller- good replacement for Zay in that "sure handed, does a lot well, nothing perfect" kind of role. I just don't see the point in selling low on Foster. He's ours for the time being and I don't think anyone is shelling out for him at this point so I'd rather keep him and see what happens.
  7. I loved Anthony Miller pre-draft, and I would love to have him... That being said, I have two issues with this: 1- I don't think he's what's missing in our lineup. he's very much a possession type receiver with some added athleticism. He isn't very big, and he isn't the fastest guy. 2- I don't want to trade Bobby. I don't know what's wrong with him this year, but I think he's gonna get back at some point, and I don't want it to be for another team.
  8. With coaching and some investment on the line and in the D, they can contend next year. I don't think they're rebuilding- they just need a new coach.
  9. I actually think I prefer Mike Evans... Younger, likely cheaper, and more of a fit for our needs. (though Julio would also be a great fit)
  10. I think people should be more concerned with how broken he looked in his post game presser... As someone said on Twitter, has this guy whose always been the golden haired boy, ever faced this kind of ball smashing? We’ll see if he recovers, but this is something that’s been known to end a career... that being said, Darnold may be a great talent, but I’d be shocked if Gase doesn’t ruin him.
  11. Nobody asks about the Patriots strength of schedule, us being the only winning team they’ve played, and them still nearly losing even after our QB gift wrapped the game for them. You play whose on the schedule. We play down to teams and that worrisome, but our team under McD has also been known to play way above our expectations- that should be scary for all the “good teams” on our schedule.
  12. Glad to brighten your day. ? i agree with what you said. It’s just frustrating he doesn’t get a fair shake cause of draftniks thinking they’re sooo evolved.
  13. “Mono-Man with his trusty sidekick: I took less money for this?!” *in emperors voice* “Good, good. Now finish him!”
  14. This is a good post. The problem is that Bills fans (myself included) have knee jerk reactions because the Media has at various times crowned each of the 2018 QB’s god, while determining that Allen is a bust who will never amount to anything. Darnold, Mayfield, Jackson, and Rosen all get the benefit of the doubt and time, Allen gets slammed. So it feels good to see the hype machine eat itself. It feels good to see Mayfield being a walking piece of *****. (Albeit a small one) It feels good to see Rosen benched for a mediocre, bipolar QB after being given up on as soon as his team could. It feels good to see Darnold auditioning for ghostbusters on national tv. You’re right that we’re a couple years from knowing the whole story- the big issue is that the media at large has written off Allen, while taking a “wait and see” approach to these other guys who are playing as a whole, worse than Allen.
  15. Lol. Yes, Joe is the laughingstock around here. Clearly.
  16. That’s a good player, but a bit of an overpay. Worst part of it is that it resets the WR market. Green is worth at least as much as Sanu.
  17. I am very happy. I have never been happier about a patriots victory. It’s a weird feeling, and I need a shower.
  18. If you can't beat em, spit in their faces and then go cry at your locker...
  19. Seems like a natural progression- we get better, other teams get worse in relation to us, our schedule looks better.
  20. All this is accurate, I would say. I think he's either gonna have to become a legit thrower, or else he will struggle as time goes on. The fact that they're happy with him running around and taking games that way seems to indicate that they prefer to use him, abuse him, and lose him as opposed to turning him into a legit Throwing QB.
  21. Seattle's defense aspires one day to be a shell of what it used to be. Ravens defense carried them and they won a big game.. That being said, the Lamar hype is and has been overdone. I am pleasantly surprised by how he has played, and he's more of a threat at QB than I had thought pre-draft. But he has yet to beat a team with a solid Defense. He's gotten beaten pretty bad by good defenses and when a team forces him to throw the ball, he struggles. Until Lamar goes against a top defense, and doesn't crumble like he did vs. LA in the playoffs, it'll be hard to buy in. Especially because we've seen so many similar qb's who struggle to stay relevant over time with this style of play.
  22. I either want the Jets to win, or the Patriots to make Darnold look like he has some other disease, whatever is handy to excuse bad play.
  23. Murphy comes in dancing while the ball is still on the ground, only to realize and reach too late. also, that was a hell of a play by Phillips. Just amazing. as for the Lofton conversation, I think he was just making a joke. Knox deserved to get slammed for that drop, it was horrid. I didn’t mind Lofton, but I did hate whoever the play-by-play guy was. I was driving home from a family reunion and listening to the game via my Sunday ticket app (thought about watching while driving, but decided life is worth living) and boy was it hard to keep up with what was going on. Rarely did they ever mention what down it was, where the ball was, how far the line to gain was, what the formation was, etc. I get that it’s not radio, but it seemed worse than normal.
  24. For the brown one, the commentators said something about him oooking back too soon and slowing down... I didn’t see it live and haven’t seen it at all so I have no clue if that’s accurate, or just commentator speak.
