  1. I think the post speaks more to the overall feel of the locker room, that being said, there's no reason a grown man should be missing scheduled events in a world of cellphones.
  2. All of Rudolphs deep balls hang in the air begging to be broken up or picked.
  3. I personally would rather see the browns get spanked. I’m fine with our season being in our own hands.
  4. Welcome to the club! A suggestion for a long and respected run: think before posting. This may seem so obvious it’s silly, but you will soon learn that it’s a rarity round these parts. ? Also, I got a diehard, all weather battery once... any relation?
  5. This. Teams have scouts all over the country right now looking at colleges- especially in the southeast. No point not sending someone to take a peak.
  6. None of this makes sense to me... I’m fine with him wanting a shot, and it makes sense for teams to see if he’s got anything that could be helpful in their pursuit of victories.... but why is the NFL setting it up?
  7. The “process” involves a culture of personal discipline. Not being able to stay out of trouble when millions of dollars are at stake is the exact opposite. Not saying he can’t turn it around, and I wouldn’t hate bringing him in, but it seems unlikely.
  8. Before my time. Karlos comes to mind, also Ryan Fitzpatrick, but I’m not sure he would count.. we were just the first to get the wool pulled over our eyes.
  9. Everyone who paid attention to his pre-draft assessments that saw him as a project. Mike Mayock, Lance Zierline, Matt Miller, Daniel Jeremiah... ya know, professionals. The same professionals (DJ at least) who say a player needs 48 games before you know what they are. Allen has 20 and he’s shown immense growth. Also, what decisions are you referring to? He’s been pretty clean the past 5 or so games.
  10. Thats what makes the question so dumb. Comparing peak, veteran Tyrod to rookie/second year and still learning Allen. It’s apples and oranges. Josh is father along than everyone thought he’d be through 20 starts. Just don’t ask him how Right Josh’s completion percentage is. Half this board is still salty that, not only did we pick Wrong Josh, but he’s already much better than Right Josh. The anti-Allen hatred will live well past his retirement and HOF enshrinement.
  11. It means that on third and long we actually have a chance of picking up the first down with Allen. It happens regularly. The 3rd and 18 against Washington is example of that. Tyrod run offenses never accomplished that. 3rd and over 7 was always a punt coming. I dont that is a fact. Statistics don’t show the whole story. There have been games won by josh Allen this year and last that TT would not have won. He was better at not turning the ball over, but in a lot of situations he was gunshy about throwing the football. He rarely took chances and that incredibly limited his capacity.

  13. Me too. And maybe it is on Allen- we honestly don't know the behind the scene stuff. We've seen this offense go up and down the field at times, we've seen them be absolutely incredible in the red-zone (where bad offenses usually struggle the most), we just haven't seen them do things consistently well... To me, that screams coaching. At best we have a young QB who is playing decently for who he is and where he's at being hamstrung by bad coaching (my take), at worst we have a young QB struggling badly and being left to struggle by a coach that wont adjust. Either way, what are the coaches doing to help Allen thrive? That's the big question on my mind these days.
  14. Welcome to the board. Your career as a poster can literally only go up from here, good luck.
  15. That's all true. I don't think the majority of the blame for the offense lays at Allans feet. That's the difference.
  16. Okay. You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree with everything you just posted. ?
  17. Right, but what I'm saying, is why are your expectations the way they are? Why do you look at what he's doing wrong and say he's behind where he should be, instead of looking at what he's doing well and saying "he's way ahead of where anyone expected him to be even this offseason." He has at time shown all of the skills necessary to be successful, he just needs to start batching them together.
  18. My first memory of TT was the touchdown to Percy Harvin vs. the colts... pretty sure that was as good as he ever was.
  19. Why is this?... He was seen as a project and he's just now at 20 starts... People forget that there were real NFL minds saying he could be a stud given time to develop, and that timeline was at least a year on the bench and then some growing pains in play.
  20. Allen has won a couple games with drives I'm not sure TT completes... That being said, Allen flashes game changer- we just need to see if he'll grow into fully it or not.
  21. I mean, he's a dolphin so.... I'd probably be throwin haymakers if I was not only playing for that *****, but living in Miami as well...
