  1. It's sad to me that our society has gotten to a point where I can't even tell if this is a joke or not...
  2. Seems like Pouncey or Decastro would be the person asked, my guess is Pouncey, obviously. This heavy response also seems to indicates that they don't even think Rudolph would do that.
  3. It was said at the time that Rudolph could have pressed criminal charges against Garrett (who knows if it would have gone anywhere) but decided not to as it was a football matter... Some howdydo if Garrett is now lying about this. I wouldn't be shocked if Rudolph did say something racist. Doesn't justify Garrett's defense, and it's a horrible call by his legal team as it's completely unprovable (as far as it seems at least) which just begs to be viewed as pandering for an excuse.
  4. “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but I’m definitely going to break your bones with composite plastic if you use words that offend me.”
  5. I agree regarding running multiple plays and play types out of the same look. That’s a major concern for me for our offense right now- we seem to be transparent. Less so this week, or so it seemed, but we need to be more duplicative with what we do out of what formation. I do like Reich. Wouldn’t have minded having him.
  6. I think in a controlled way this makes sense... I.e, he’s got 3 or 5 plays set up and then situationally can call what looks right. I think this is what they do some of during the tempo, as we see Allen make more adjustments. Short of a manning brain, it’s hard to have an entire play sheet in your head at any given time.
  7. How much does that happen in the NFL these days? I would be fine with Allen having some autonomy and I think we’ve seen he does good things when changing stuff at the lines, but how much of the “playcalling” is done by QB’s? Not flaming, just curious myself.
  8. It’s so hard to say cause we’re coming off a great game... is this the start of something new, or just a flash in the pan? I’m an optimist so I say high end of the 16-22 group, with a chance to get even higher.
  9. I think it's hard to read this article, to watch every Josh Allen snap in these first two years, to think through the narrative about him pre-draft (specifically how raw he was) and to not come away thinking he's the guy. Just great. It's also incredible that this is essentially his second year getting proper coaching... Like it said, no Camps, no prestigious HS, no big name school... Just Allen growing as an individual, and now he's being shown how to be a professional QB. Also- this is the line of the article: "Allen’s biggest gains in 2019 have come where he faltered most as a rookie." Henry Ruggs III
  10. Would likely mean each team goes 2-0 in that stretch to get the flex.
  11. Lol. A player who cant get traded off a garbage team no matter how hard he tries. K.
  12. Is that their whole offensive line on the injury report? That could be good for us.
  13. This is a good point... not sure it means Roman can’t do the job, and he will likely get a chance to try, but it’s important to remember that being top dawg is always harder than being a coordinator. Roman is in a place with a great example of that- Harbaugh was a ST coordinator and never a OC or DC. He isn’t an offensive guy, or a defensive guy (though he leans defense based on his history) - he’s just a good manager of people and he knows to surround himself with guys like Roman who make him look good!
  14. Is the Jets meltdown the only Thursday might game since McD arrived? Yuck.
  15. I would imagine wherever he goes becomes a prime landing spot for Cam and/or Jalen Hurts.
  16. I honestly forget how old he is... He's gonna be the oldest ever elected if re-elected, and if Biden is the Dem. nominee then we're guaranteed the oldest ever. Here's a non-partisan, throwaway question... Why do we as a society pick leaders who are years and years past retirement age? If we see a 73 or 77 year old out on the street we offer to carry their groceries, or help them across the street, but we're comfortable with people the same age leading the free world? My dad is 69 and he's slowing down a lot in a lot of ways. Just boggles my mind. *this isn't an anti-age thing at all, and I know capacity is most important, it's just surprising to me.
  17. Statistically he didn't look great down the stretch except the Miami game, but as the season went on he was definitely more comfortable and playing better football in general. I hope he gets hot right now and we cruise.
  18. I think Allen is going to have a big game. Not actually disagreeing with your points cause they're all well grounded, I just think the keg that is Josh Allen is now tapped and freely flowing and I think it's all upside from here on out. This could be a very silly looking post in a couple days or weeks, but there it is. My Allen stat line prediction for the Dolphins game was pretty close, so heres a wild one: 24/37 for 279, 2 td's, no INT's. 7 Rushes for 89 yards and a score.
  19. Well, you're wrong. You do have plenty of moments, but it seems like your medication is helping that some... ?
  20. lol... They're actually arguing that Chubb was the right pick because defense wins championships... Hows that going for them the past two years?
  21. I mean, it seems pretty obvious. Promising young QB is always worth more than Promising young pass rusher. Even if Allen is only ever a good not great QB, and Chubb is a HOF, for as long as they don't have a QB, they will be wishing they did.
