  1. Beas is on pace for about 850, with Brown on pace for 1175. Beas would need a couple more big games to make it happen, but it seems like it could with how he's been playing these past two. That was a money ball. 20+ yards in the air on a straight line into a tight window. One of maybe 5 dudes who can hit that throw. Also, that slot screen isn't getting much attention, but that's a great example of Allen's improved accuracy. That's a throw he's consistently struggled with before, and he nailed it.
  2. I gotta be honest... that Turkey leg looked a little rubbery. Probably not prime quality... Maybe microwaved?
  3. This is the moment he's looking at Jaylon Smith (#54), and all-pro linebacker and saying nonverbally "nah B word."
  4. This is an understanding fact, but it definitely is accurate... It did feel over there. I was still nervous due to years of Bills being billsy, but that felt like the big sleep for the Boys... This is a good post. The beauty of complimentary football is that you can bail each other out. Now Josh is ready to unleash hell and the Defense gets to reap the rewards of their hard work early this season. They're peaking at the very best time.
  5. I would consider bringing Chase back if SF cuts him after gould comes back, but even then, I'm not sure if he's a guaranteed improvement.
  6. Nope. And Baker was my #1 with Josh a close #2. Not only has Baker regressed, but he's taken the whole team backwards by insisting on Kitchens as HC.
  7. I was watching with my Dad whose a big Steelers fan and at that point I said to him "Bigger, stronger, faster Ben Roethlisburger." and he just nodded in agreement. That was a fantastic throw. I thought it was a drop at first, but the Defender was perfect on that play. It was. I was thinking that earlier in this thread. Any other player and that's the highlight of their game, but Josh does one of those at least every other week so it's old hat for us.
  8. 300 yards is either a heavy heavy pass attack (See chiefs), playing from behind (Dak yesterday) or a shootout, and we don't really play shootouts.
  9. That angle is nasty and shows just how much of a frozen rope that pass was... What a window he fit that in.
  10. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2019/11/29/20987796/snap-count-notes-buffalo-bills-at-dallas-cowboys-robert-foster-dawson-knox Couple takeaways from snap counts: Phillips and Oliver very close in snaps. McKenzie and Foster close as well, shows good rotation there. Roberts gets one offensive play, on the trickplay. Wonder if Dallas bit on the sweep cause they were keying to him being in the game.
  11. Yep. The myth is that the NFL is ever one thing... There might be seasons of pass heavy and lots of scoring, but then it'll shift back and it's always back and forth. This year will be interesting to see if the dominant Defenses (SF, NE, BUF) can overcome the flashier offenses (BAL, KC, SEA).
  12. A good thought, but I can't see him turning down a HC position. We might get lucky though- with McVey coming down, and the other "wonderkins" not showing out that well, the rage for a offensive guru might not be as hot this year.
  13. When you spend an entire season running the sneak and the pound the A gap with Gore, the wide sweep could be a good, unexpected play. Let Motor be on the edge with one man to beat.... It may have worked. Didn't need it though.
  14. Gotcha. Yeah, definitely coulda changed the shape of the season... I still think we pull it out with Allen in there in the 4th.
  15. If things continue at this rate, he might need to be OC in place of Daboll who may get a HC position somewhere. If not this year, maybe next.
  16. Agreed. Ford had his ups and downs, but he played 100% of snaps, and the OL played great as a whole.
  17. I understand your thought process here, but I think there's a zone QB's can get in where they know exactly how a throw like that is going to go, and it's a 100% play for them. That's what yesterday felt like for josh. Also, he's a QB. If he's thinking pass first, I'm happy. Yep. That was a game changing throw for sure. Probably a throw only 10% of professional QB's can make?
  18. Lot easier to find individual play highlights after a primetime game... I love it. You can see Smith freeze, completely unsure what Allen's about to do.
