  1. And if we show out in the next two, and if we play well in the playoffs (especially if JA plays well) we'll be playing our way to 3+ primetime games next year. The old guard is passing. Guys like Rivers and Brees and Brady aren't fun to watch anymore. They want excitement and pop- Lamar, Desaun, Baker, Mahomes, and now Allen.
  2. Wow... I went to look at Lamar's stats for the past five games as well, just for fun- not to take anything away from Josh, but damn: 75% completion | 257 total yards a game | 3.6 TD's a game | .2 Turnovers a game | 38.4 PPG | 5-0 record It's worth noting that I know the Defense has scored some of those points, whereas the Bills offense has scored all of ours. Interesting that the Turnovers are the same, and that the yards per game are actually lower.... That TD number is insane though.
  3. Allen's stats look even better when you look at the entire month of november: 62% completion | 259 total yards a game | 2.4 TD's a game | .2 Turnovers a game | 24.6 PPG | 4-1 record After that, win one game. After that, win one game. After that, win one game. After that, win one game. After that, win one game. After that, win one game. After that, win one game.
  4. Yep. It'll also help to have someone who can go down field and compete for the football- not just run by guys. Josh might not be as good at putting it in a 1 yard window, over the shoulder, leading the WR perfectly. But he can put it in the range of a big receiver with a wide catch radius, which we don't have now.
  5. No, he isn't. Watson is one of maybe 3 QB's who hit deep balls that consistently well (Mahomes, Wilson) as the other two. Josh can do it, as he's shown, and I think he'll continue to improve. It's pretty low on the list of "necessary skills" for a QB.
  6. So true. He looks as elite as his stats show. We're winning these games because Josh is carrying our team, not the other way around. It more less has been... The shot to Brown vs. Miami was sorta a deep ball, but was a lazer, and the shot to Brown against Denver was textbook. That being said, I think he's only missed one deep shot these three weeks? I think that's something that will start cooking as the season goes on.
  7. I am excited and nervous. He's coming off a three game stretch that is by far his best ever, and is downright elite (and has happened against teams that are decent-great defensively): 672 yards, 67%, 6:1 ratio, 155 rushing yards with 2 td's, no fumbles (unless you want to count the snap, which he recovered). 28 PPG, 3-0. Across 16 games that looks like this: 3,584, 67%, 32:5, 827rush, 10td's. All that to say, I'm interested to see if this is his emergence as the Guy we've all dreamed he can be, if this is just a flash in the pan and he'll regress, or if he'll settle somewhere in the middle... I personally think we're going to see an above average QB the rest of the way.
  8. It goes to show one important thing: One hit wonders in CFB can be dangerous. Ed Oliver was the consensus best player in this draft going into last season - he had a slight down year, but still played very well. Q. Williams came out of nowhere and dominated on a stacked team for one year and everyone decided he was better than Ed. Q might have a good career, but so far Ed is the better player. This is something I'm wondering about w/regard to Burrow...
  9. https://buffalowdown.com/2019/12/02/buffalo-bills-7-round-nfl-mock-draft-adding-weapons-josh-allen/2/ Found this random Mock draft and I wouldn't hate it one bit. Shenault may not be my first choice, but I can see Daboll falling in love with his versatility. Harris in the 4th would be a great compliment for Motor.
  10. We have a ton of speed on Defense. I am more worried about containing ingram and their power run game, than I am about chasing Lamar. Mark my words on this: Micah Hyde is the #1 factor of this game. Both in the run, and in the pass defense.
  11. On schedule to be a Hall of Famer, based on that list. Love it: (peter king on things he thinks he thinks) 6. I think the Jets will regret passing on Ed Oliver for Quinnen Williams in the top 10 of the 2019 NFL Draft. If they’re being honest, they already do. This is you and @Joe in Winslow, I know that... I’m just trying to figure out which one is the fat one....
  12. Part of his “I think I think” segment stood out too: 6. I think the Jets will regret passing on Ed Oliver for Quinnen Williams in the top 10 of the 2019 NFL Draft. If they’re being honest, they already do. Music to my ears.
  13. True, but we also did plenty to get in our own way.
  14. He seems to have a knack for recovering onside kicks.
  15. I love that Desaun Watson / Warrick Dunn story.
  16. Seeing Tommy do something good is better than any little blue pill for chris...
  17. I've never seen anyone try so hard to blame wide receivers for ***** QB play. You're a Schmuck, Chris.
  18. Al: Brady under 50% last week and this week - never been back to back under 50% in his career. Chris: *Crickets*
