  1. yeah, but I think he still owns a majority share of it. plus, I thought he was gonna be executive CEO or some made up title where he still calls shots but doesn’t have to do as much? Who knows. Bezo’s seems like someone who couldn’t help but try to change things he’s involved in (for better or worse) so I could see them not wanting him to come in an make waves. I’m so intrigued by the way the owners operate together... on one hand, they’re almost like a quasi-board or directors running a multi billion dollar company together, but on the other hand they’re competitors each looking out for number 1. A weird dynamic I’m sure.
  2. That’s a good question. I don’t know anything about that scenario. obviously I think Bezo’s buying into the league wouldn’t be stopped because of the Amazon thing, but it’s one side that would require some legal hoola-hooping I’m sure.
  3. I wonder about the conflict of interest with Amazon being involved in airing games/supposedly wanting a bigger chunk of that action.
  4. According to Joe Miller from Buffalo Rumblings, he heard from someone close to the organization that it's 80% that he ends up a Bill... He didn't say that as if claiming to know for sure, or to have a great and reliable source. Just passing on something he heard. But that's been about 5 days ago. So who knows.
  5. They really blew chunks all over their offseason last year....
  6. I liked him at times, but the biggest question for them is if they like him more than what they can get at 6. I don’t really see Hurts being more or less a sure thing than say, Fields or Lance, so I’d probably stick with Hurts and try and get someone who can help him. That being said- that whole team is a trash fire these days.
  7. I find this a strange thing for an official team twitter to re-tweet....
  8. Good. Spoils to the victors. Work hard and watch it from the field next year. Love this guy!
  9. I doubt he runs every tweet through marketing professionals. Also, it’s fun to joke about their being hidden messages in his tweets, but thinking there’s any substance to that is idiotic.
  10. If this were true Tim Graham would have already written a series of articles about how horrible it is and how awful the Pegula’s are.
  11. Sh. No. He’s old and washed. I read it here. Also, Stefon Diggs doesn’t make contested catches.
  12. It’s lower. At least from what I’ve seen (which isn’t worth much) probably a day three pick. (4-7) Though many have said that round predictions will be even more worthless this year once you get past maybe the top 50 or so guys.
  13. I’m not sure I agree on that for the simple fact of getting value where it exists. CB2 is a relative need, and if the value is there, you pull the trigger. As for Melifonwu- I’m not a tape junkie, but what I’ve read/seen/heard of him is that his size and athleticism is a very nice setup. He offers some upside covering TE’s as well. My two later round CB crushes are Israel Mukuamu from SC, and Kelvin Joseph from Kentucky.
  14. Based on how Wentz liked Alshon Jeffery in Philly, watch out for Michael Pittman Jr.
  15. So here’s my thought: Frank Reich was there in what has been revealed to be a very dysfunctional situation. He saw how it went, and he knew who Wentz was. If he’s saying that he can recover him, I tend to believe he will.
  16. Talent, yeah. But he hasn’t had elite production in about 5 years. A lot or that is due to injury, but still. Until he gets back to that level it’s hard to imagine him being described as elite for anything other than his name.
  17. Diggs: - Not as good as Theilen. - Isn’t tough, doesn’t make contested catches. - Not special. - Not worth a first. - Diva who will demand more money. - Is equal to John Brown. What a history lesson this thread is.
  18. QB: Bills >>> Browns RB: Bills <<< Browns TE: Bills < Browns (given the amount of usage and the design of offense, this is closer than it should be.) WR: Bills >>> Browns OL: Bills << Browns DL: Bills < Browns LB: Bills > Browns DB: Bills >> Browns ST: Bills > Browns Coaching: Bills >> Browns
  19. As long as DW isn’t in the East, the offseason is a success.
  20. I have wondered about the opt out thing with star.... my question is this: if guys opt out for a second straight year, shouldn’t teams be able to get some kind of relief? I know we wouldn’t have to pay him this year, but if he opts our under the same rules he’d show back up in 2022 for his year 33 season, having been out of football for two years. Kinda a tough row to hoe to be expected to pay him 7+ million. i think it would be wise for the league to say that instead of opting out a second time and contracts deferring, that is a player is still uncomfortable playing, they need a settlement of the contract much like an injury settlement and then say only x% of it counts against the teams cap.
  21. The bills had the 6th best avg starting spot, the 4th best yards per return on punts, and the best yard per returns on kicks. I completely disagree that it’s obsolete. Roberts is a valuable asset and unless they have a sure thing to take his role, I’d like to keep him.
