  1. I get that, I just worry that the more that tell us we can beat them, the less likely we are to... thats BBFS, right?
  2. I was raised to respect my elders, even those who are definitely past the point of being elders and are just long past their expiration date.
  3. You wrinkly old hag, that isn't how that works... That isn't how any of this works. You're done! You shot your shot and it's over. Send it up the line where it will be swatted back in your ancient ass face and take the L. You have no control over the senate, and you don't get to dictate how things work up there- the constitution does. Heard of it?
  4. I get it and I don't disagree. We just lack a true edge rusher who can consistently get after the QB and make plays when we need it most. Our front 7 is doing a ton to generate pressure, but that's primarily with blitzes and with tricks. Right now that works cause our pass defense is so damn good. I'd still like a 10+ sack edge rusher whose going to be the focus of the other teams OL. If that's FA, so be it. If it's the draft, that's fine as well.
  5. Week 16... We have 6 depth players on IR, and 2 backup players on our Injury report... I know luck is part of it, but there's definitely more to it than that. Those facilities, and the medical training staff are playing a role. This out to be highlight #1 on our FA tour list. Also, anyone else getting the sinking feeling of there being too much hype? Or is that my BBFS?
  6. There are going to be some that we can't resign... That's the natural order of things. But there are going to be guys we can sign, and with a new CBA around the corner, holding money for later may not be the wise play. Right now we're looking at damn near $100m dollars this off season and even more the following year. With the natural removal of larger contracts such as Murphy, Hughes, Star, and others over the next couple years, it can't hurt to add pieces. All that being equal, I would probably take Ngakoue for the Price of Phillips and Shaq if it was an either or. I love those guys and their buy in, but I don't trust guys who show up in their contract year. That being said, I'd be fine getting all three and moving on from Jerry and Murphy.
  7. I'm not a capologist, so I can't really say either way, but It seems like we have plenty of money to go around. I trust Beane to figure that out for sure though.
  8. Yeah. I'd take him pretty quick. I'm fine keeping Shaq, J. Phillips, and signing Ngakoue. Stack Strength on strength and spend the money that we have.
  9. I'm too young to remember the Clinton situation, and I am not well read enough on it to comment. My biggest issue in this current iteration of Impeachment sweepstakes is that it generates a precedent. As someone said, at least with Clinton there was a crime. With this, the precedent now exists that the losing party can try to overturn the results of an election that didn't go their way with made up evidence and Kangaroo courts. It's not a big deal here, and I agree it likely will help Trump and the R's, but next time the hunting party might hold the house and the senate, and all the sudden it's a different ballgame for the person in the Oval- be it a republican or a democrat, because it isn't just one side that will see this precedent as an opportunity in the future. Nah man. If they're going to tear down the institutions, we fight a civil war and re-establish the institutions. If we're not gonna operate under the law of the land, the constitution, just because they didn't first, then we're f-ed either way. Hillary is up in the polls! Tibs! I see you've grown as a person since I've been down here! Do they teach civics anymore...? The point is perfectly illustrated in my Small town newspapers headline today: "Trump Impeached" in giant letters. Whose reading past that? It's about framing a narrative. Those with intelligence and depth will see through it, see it as the sham it is, and vote for Trump and other republicans next fall... Those who don't have the intelligence to see what this is really about were definitely already voting democrat.
  10. I think some of the key ones should sit if we’re locked into the 5th spot. Or at least be on a snap count. it also depends on how the game goes this weekend. If Josh has a down day against the pats, maybe give him the first half to get right.
  11. Have the old timers coming back ever actually worked? Marv, Elway, Parcells, Coughlin...
  12. Assuming a Bills Run to the Superbowl (for the sake of conversation): Likely Path: WC: Bills @ Texans - Bills Win Steelers @ Chiefs - Chiefs Win Divisional: Bills @ Ravens - Bills Win Chiefs @ Patriots - Chiefs Win Conference: Bills @ Chiefs - Bills Win SB: Bills v. ? - Bills Win Now, easiest path: Bills Win this week causing NE to be 3 seed. WC: Bills @ Texans - Bills win Steelers @ Texans - Steelers win Divisional: Bills @ Chiefs - Bills win Steelers @ Ravens - Steelers win Conference: Steelers @ Bills - Bills win SB: Bills v. Cowboys - Bills win (this is the easiest possible path to a SB, and it comes with a home conference title, and a Cowboys revenge SB!) Dream Scenario: WC: Bills @ Titans - Bills win on last second touchdown caught by Brown and then flipped to Beasley as he runs past into the endzone. Texans @ Chiefs - Texans Win Divisional: Bills @ Patriots - Bills win 45-3, sack Brady 11 times, get 5 turnovers, and Allen throws for 400 yards. BB refuses to shake hands and Brady is left sitting on the sideline in disbelief. Game called by Chris Collinsworth and Al Michaels. Chris chokes to death on his own tongue half way through the 3rd Quarter when Brady throws his 4th interception on a terrible throw right into the arms of Tremaine Edmunds who trucks brady on the way to a 73 yard TD. Texans @ Ravens - Texans Win Conference: Texans @ Bills - Bills fans begin tailgating on Wednesday before the game, the Mayor of Buffalo declares a 4 day weekend in honor of the Bills bringing glory back to buffalo. First play of the game, Josh Allen hits a 80 yard bomb to Robert Foster that hangs in the air for 75 yards. Patrick Mahomes brain explodes watching from home. Bills win easily 40-6 - Fans tear down goal stands. SB: Bills v. Cowboys - This one's too good to pass up. Bills get out to a 24 point lead in the first quarter and the game is over at half with a 38-0 score. The Celebration starts early in buffalo with entire blocks completely shutdown due to the pandimonium. In-between Frank Gore rushing for 6+ yards a pop all over the defeated dallas Defense, with McD clapping along on the sideline, the camera coverage shows Jerry Jones looking greener and greener from his press box before it accidentally shows him puking in a trash can. Game ends 56-0. 4 day parade shuts down Buffalo completely.
  13. Not a bad idea at all, but if I'm not mistaken, they can't even negotiate a new deal until the end of next year? Something about three accrued seasons? I think Wentz got paid as early as is possible. It would be nice for him as his value is at an all time high (especially if they win the SB), but alas.
  14. It really depends on how the rest of the season goes. I think we'll get 2-3 PT games depending on how the season goes. If we win a playoff game we'll get 3. AFC championship could get us 4, but I doubt it. Superbowl appearance/win would put us in the 5 range. As for what: I expect that we'll get a SNF game at home, against the Pats makes sense- especially early season. If Brady is gone this is a really safe bet as they will want to see how the division is gonna shape up. We'll probably pick up a thursday night game and I could see that being on the road vs. one of the NFC West Opponents - Arizona maybe? Playoff rematches are big deals, so we could see something in that area. last year the Chiefs beat Colts and it wasn't close, but they were matched up on Sunday night this year (pre-luck retirment). So if we play the Chiefs in the postseason and it's a good game they might throw that on Sunday or Monday.
  15. Yes. They have. Nobody is tearing down our team. We're saying that compared to the SB favorites, we have less talent on offense. Between that and the fact that the offensive scheme is completely different, Lamar would play very differently here. It's facts. You're too stuck in your pre-draft bias to see it, and you're outnumbered 8000 to 1. Even the people who are sorta agreeing with some of your points are hedging themselves and not buying all in on your Allen hate because it's deranged. So my question is this... How did Allen hurt you? Did you have a puppy that he accidentally ran over? Did you catch him kissing your mom under the mistletoe? Did he steal your lunch money in third grade? It's okay... You can recover from whatever it is. It starts by not being a troll. That's the first step to recovery.
  16. When it doubt and cornered by good arguments, crack open a nice cold straw man, kick your feet back and get busy movin them goal posts. #trollcode
  17. Allen, while not perfect, has sat back in the pocket, gone through a complete progression of reads, and hit open receivers at the boundary. These are all things that Lamar is not asked to do on the regular, and does not do well when he is asked to do them. That's what is being stated. Lamar is not playing the same kind of football and while Josh is growing through his shortcomings, Lamar is simply ignoring/mitigating his by playing differently. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that approach, and it's working so well that I'm not one to say it can't continue that way. But if you were to put Lamar in the offense that Josh is running it would be a very different Lamar situation.
  18. The use of quotation marks is really throwing me off here... Is this: Something that Orlovsky said, or is that coming from you? Not flaming, just trying to follow.
  19. And he's 8-5 as a starter in the months of November and December. Including last year on a pretty bad football team where he went 3-3 down the stretch.
  20. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleJo02/splits/2019/ Note of error: as you can see, I screwed the pooch and accidentally listed JA's completion numbers, and not attempt numbers. @BuffaloHokie13 has the right comp to what I posted regarding Lamar. That being said, the 240-190 ratio of passing first half vs. second half is still really telling, I think.
  21. 1: 67 2: 77 3: 57 4: 54 First half: 144 Second Half: 111 That's intriguing to me.. Really makes me question our Run pass splits. EDIT: These are completions only- my bad. Borrowed from @BuffaloHokie13 Quarter: 1- 111 2- 129 3- 99 4- 91 Half: 1st: 240 2nd: 190
