  1. Blame to go around for sure. 2 things: 1- contrary to popular opinion, 100% of the offensive struggle is not Allen’s fault. There was questionable playcalling, and the OL played like total ***** in run game and pass game. 2- the defense was on the field huge chunks of time because they couldn’t get stops. Almost the entire first half was taken by drives of 11 plays and 17 plays by the pats. The defense got out muscled and got their ass kicked.
  2. Ridiculous fg attempt there. How is that ever better than going on 4th and 4?
  3. I don’t know if it’s cause I’m only on Bills fan platforms, but it seems like Josh suffers more close examination of each and every throw than any other QB in the league.
  4. Yes. It is. It said SB champion scores 16. Like they did last time. When the defense played well.
  5. Yeah, I’m just arguing how it is- not how it should be. I don’t like it either, it’s just what it is. The defense laid an egg this week. If they played to their own standard, we’d win. That being said, I want us to grow on offense to the point where our offense can bail out the defense on a bad day. Not there yet. I dont think it’s our year, but we do have enough pieces to make a run- any given Sunday. It’ll be interesting to see. It’s possible all these things come together into a miracle, or it’s possible we don’t make it past round 1.
  6. Okay, you aren’t actually disagreeing with me. It is our identity. It has been. According to the script of this season, the offense did its job and the defense let them down. That isn’t how it should be. The offense should do better. No doubt. That being said, the offense did a lot in this game and the time of possession (caused by both sides of a he call, but mostly the defense) made it more difficult. When the offense made the pass play to Brown, they took the lead and then watched as the defense gave up an easy, Time consuming drive to the patriots.
  7. Hey pal- use some reading skills before you respond to posts. You’re debating the identity that this team has been playing with all season. You’re not debating the results of Sunday’s game. If the defense had done what it’s done all season, we win the game. That’s who we have been this year.
  8. I just... I don't get teams that feed the ball to one player. Just put 4 dudes on them at least until they throw it somewhere else!
  9. My bad. I was thinking of Debo Samuel. Similar player, not as big.
  10. Brown is actually like 5'11. That being said, gimme Laviska Shenault from Colorado... So, we're not gonna talk about how the Saints players are getting the ball on an illegal hit by the Safety?
  11. AB necessitated his exit from Pittsburgh, and thats turned out as it has but anyone who actually though JuJu was gonna be able to slot into that role was just wrong.
  12. Steelers for sure. i thought this was your list of players you'd swap allen for, and that was about to be someeeeee junk. ?
  13. What a garbage team the Steelers offense is...
  14. The duck has been grounded.... we broke him...
  15. If the ravens botch it and let the pats get home field I am going to be pissed.
  16. Definitely a disappointment so far, from what I’ve seen. It’s Early, but with guys they passed on making instant impact, it’s a hard sell.
  17. I don’t Think trying to affect your opponents draft position is a reason to play or not play starters. besides. The Jets had a chance to take a disruptive front 7 player this draft. They had Q. Williams, Josh Allen, and Ed Oliver at their disposal... so far, not great.
  18. This is stupid. he did enough to win. Not perfect at all, but the blame falls on the defense before it falls on Allen.
  19. I said it in the postgame thread, and I’ll say it again: for better or worse, the identity of this team is that the defense holds the offense in check, gets off the field, and lets the offense have opportunities. The offense then makes two-three big plays a game and that’s enough. the offense did it’s job yesterday; the defense fell down like a house or cards. You can debate if our identity is correct or what it should be, but you can’t debate that the defense got out manned on every drive.
  20. Yup. Both beautiful passes. That brown TD by my estimation was -37 to +20 for a total air yards of 43. The Knox pass was 43 to 2 for 41 air yards. Just great passes. He also had some lasers that traveled more than 20 yards.
  21. I mean, in every metric he’s improved this year. He’s also improving in individual areas week to week. Interceptions/decision making. Ball security/not fumbling. Deep ball accuracy. Big one for him to continue as the playoffs come, working on seeing pressure soon enough. Moving out of the pocket when needed.
  22. My god. The nancies around here. You’re all idiots. Also, after looking at the replay of the final play, Beasley jumped half a second too early for that ball. Hard task either way, but his timing was off a bit.
