  1. I'm there with you for sure. Definitely optimistic though... They've built a contending team before even getting to the depth of the rebuild. I like it!
  2. You missed the context of the conversation... Based on the cap availability list next year, where the bills are ranked #4 in the league (with the most space of any playoff team) the next playoff team with as well put together of a roster is, I believe, the Ravens, who are ranked #17. I would say our roster overall is better than the Texans, Seahawks, and Titans. Several of the other playoff teams have well rounded rosters, few have anywhere near the cap space that we have.
  3. Yep... And I think the argument can be made that of all those playoff teams you have to go down the list to the Ravens to find a team that is the better all around team.
  4. An interesting side tidbit that is super impressive...
  5. Was the Florence pick six of Brady this decade? I realize it didn’t really indicate a shift in our relationship, but it got a monkey off our back in a big way. Aside from that, definitely the snow game. Definitely Allen’s 4th and 1. Hard to define a decade so filled with mediocrity.
  6. I was just thinking about that yesterday... makes way too much sense, but don’t the colts own his rights? I imagine if it were to happen, it would have to be after the draft if they were to take a QB high. Any other situation and I doubt they’d be willing to trade him.
  7. I think Eddie is gonna have a huge game in front of his home crowd.
  8. This thread is fantastic. To those who are arguing that Josh is better right now than Watson, stop. He’s really not. And anyone whose around here enough to know me knows that I’m a huge huge Josh supporter. But that’s just a dog that can’t hunt. Subsequently, to those who are arguing that Josh is to Watson what JP Losman is to Aaron Rodgers (or fill in your other comps) you’re also wrong. It’s a clear gap between the two, but it ain’t that big. For those who compare the effect of having a top D vs having one of the most elite WR’s in the game as it relates to a QB’s performance and statistics, stop it. That’s idiotic. Of course Watson benefits greatly from having Nuk. If you doubt that, look at how he plays with Fuller in the game vs. when he’s out. When Fuller is there and the defense can’t elimanate Nuk, Watson and the offense are much better. All that to say, Watson right now is the better choice. I don’t think that will be the case for much longer, and I think Allen looking very good this Saturday while Watson struggles (granted vs very different defenses) will open the eyes of some people going forward. To the OP- well done. Any time you can make a thread leading to people arguing like crazy that ends in both sides looking ridiculous, you’ve done a good job.
  9. Some facts: - Bills play better on the road. - Bills play better in the spotlight. - Bills starters have not lost back to back games this year. - Brian Daboll wants to cement himself as a HC candidate. - Texans are an inconsistent team that can go from dominating a top team, to getting blown out by a poor team. - The Bills are one of the most consistent teams in the NFL. That all being said. My honest take is Bills 26 - Texans 14
  10. That's the kind of thing that can be really embarrassing. Not saying it will be, but it's asking to be brought back up if his line is 2 catches on 7 targets, for 13 yards and White gets a pick in a bills win.
  11. Bills beat the texans titans beat the patriots bills beat the chiefs titans beat the ravens bills host titans in championship game and win.
  12. How many firings have there been so far? - Cleveland - Washington - Carolina - G-men Am I forgetting any? With Dallas forthcoming, that’s 5 which seems like a lower than normal number!
  13. Trying to burn off what little is left of the fan base before the move to London Towne?
  14. He’s too busy coaching a ***** football team to cheat.
  15. this is stupid. You’re using an argument based entirely on hindsight to say that a decision was wrong in the moment. The resault of the decision does not indicate if it was a bad decision at the time, unless the results were clearly predictable. They weren’t. No matter what you say, there was no reasonable expectation that Petterman would have the worst performance in NFL history.
  16. Disagree. Starting peterman was an effort to curb absolutely horrible QB play. Being a nobody isn’t jack *****. Some of the best QB’s in nfl history started as nobodies. Changing it up after the most conservative, 56yrd passing day of a blowout made perfect sense. Now, the in house scouting is a problem all of its own. But peterman is a practice god.
  17. Fair point. I guess I was thinking about the Jalen Ramsey, KB, Crab Legs era. My bad for generalizing!
  18. I actually think their prior knowledge makes this deal look better for them in a way... KB flamed out large part because he was lazy and never showed a killer mentality. The fact that they knew him previously would indicate that he was not that way before the trade and they based the trade on his talent and what must have been, at the time, a perception of his character that proved false. I think KB was just done with football. What is is it about FSU that produces such ***** professional (I mean in how they act) guys?
  19. Yep. And up steps the new wave with our boy right there in the mix.
  20. People are completely in denial that Daboll is getting serious HC buzz...
  21. I wonder if the Jags would pay us to take Foles contract off their hands....
  22. Mariota is an intriguing one to me, but he’ll likely end up fighting for a job somewhere, or at least going somewhere with the door open.
  23. I think it’s possible for it to be a bad move, and still have been the right move at the time. Same as the decision to bench Tyrod for Petterpick. Some things demand hindsight.
