  1. Is this the guy who just got out of a bad relationship and keeps saying he just wants someone with depth who he can have a real connection with and then shows up the next day with a cheerleader who can’t spell her own name?
  2. Still want him, but this is ridiculous and I hate it. That being said, if it were someone we didn’t want to sign, this would be hilarious and I would love it.
  3. This is an underrated story for the offseason that could really screw us over...
  4. It’s like that thing you find in the back of the fridge a month later and it’s all fuzzy but you can’t just throw it away cause there’s nothing else in there and you’re hungry...
  5. Shelvin can likely be has for a small trade up in the 3rd, or just straight away at our pick there. A more appealing DT in round two to me is Alim McNeil. He’s a big run defender who has a bit more + in pass rushing. that being said, he also might mot be worth a second rounder. I’ve heard everything from top 50 to 5th round. Really that shows some of the big issues with this year - there’s gonna be guys we just don’t have an idea on where they fit in the draft until a team picks them. While this is always the case, it seems more so this year. As for Dickerson, he’s my #1 crush this year. I think he’s probably available in the 2nd or with a trade back into the 40’s or 50’s. That being said, he’s the kinda guy that skyrockets up the board down the stretch. Contenders look at him as a plug and play. His ceiling might be lower than some guys, but if you want a instant starter he’s gonna fit and offer a maturity that others might not. So I wouldn’t hate taking him at 30 if we resign DWill. I honestly think we’re in the sweet spot for a IOL anyways, even if we do resign Mongo. I’m fine with someone like Dickerson slotting I’m at LG and Ike, Mongo, and Ford having a battle for RG.
  6. There are some posters who should switch their position to “reader only” for sure...
  7. I wonder that too, but from everything I’ve seen it looks like we’re down within the 2-3 million range of varience. At very least it seems sure to be between 180-185. I would think teams could use that as a baseline at least to act, if they were so wanting to.
  8. It really opens some doors for us. If he and Dawson work out, you can go with: “Knox and Tremble, the 1 - 2 punch.” Or, If Knox doesn’t work, maybe Sweeney steps up with Tremble and you can go: “The Irish Tommy’s”
  9. I don’t follow much college football (usually just enough to know about draft stuff) but that seems pretty easy to me- if you win the Heisman, you belong in the college football hall of fame. With guys playing as little as one or two years of football, being the best in the nation is pretty automatic, I think. Not the same standard with the NFL. Winning MVP isn’t a free pass into the Hall. You have to have a career of impact.
  10. You’re reading into Watt not following the media and our perceived idea of his timeline. If he ends up choosing buffalo it will be because they are his first choice and he wants to be here. He is a member of a small group of players who get a decade plus into their career before having the opportunity to choose where they want to play. I’m fine with him taking his time.
  11. Thanks for this. I couldn’t figure out what to think about this conversation cause for every draft profile I find detailing how good a blocker he is, there’s another saying he can’t block at all. I was very confused about it. Here’s a write up detailing his blocking value: https://www.google.com/amp/s/irish.nbcsports.com/2021/01/08/notre-dame-te-tommy-tremble-heads-to-nfl-as-run-blocker-extraordinaire/amp/
  12. It’s up for debate, so let’s debate it: ”Is Cam Newton a hall of famer?” ”No. Absolutely not.” Debate over.
  13. I was gonna say- member when Beasley was the consolation price for missing this guy? Lol
  14. go hire whoever crossed out the name just so we can fire his ass again.
  15. Shoot. We’re officially at the point in the draft process where all my sleepers get discovered. love the speed on this guy. He and his teammate Tutu Atwell have incredible speed and I’d love to have some of it on the Bills...
  16. 2 years removed from 16 sacks. People don’t want knowledge they want opinions, specifically their own.
  17. He also looked like a total Douche. Two major red flags. also, 7 is a garbage QB number.* *this opinion may have been birthed in large part by watching JP Losman
  18. Grossman worked together with a certain bills QB to demonstrate that names matter... you are what your name says you are.
  19. “I’m sicka your run first defense team! Trade me to the bears!!”
  20. This is one of three things: 1- a straight up lie from his agent. Happens 500 times a year. 2- a huge offer from a team that isn’t actually a contender to sign him trying to sway him and get him to move off his desires for a ring (Jets come to mind) 3- A genuine offer he’s gotten from one of the team’s he’s considering where you have a staged contract that dumps 20+ into year three or whatever. The problem is, he’ll never see that money. I may be wrong, but I would 1000% be shocked if he gets anything close to 15m actual AAV in this climate.
  21. The Diggs comp reminds me of Deion's letter last year, about how watching him was like watching a different kind of player. A step above all the other professional players that are on the team. I imagine Watt could have a similar effect.
  22. Welp. I think this is the first time I have consciously acknowledged the fact that we took Marcell Dareus over Julio Jones.... Yikes.
