  1. Step 1: create rules. Step 2: instantly fail to follow self made rules. Step 3: flourish.
  2. He’s more known. Not necessarily better... he was a third round pick himself, which kinda proves the craziness of WR drafting. I wouldn’t trade a 1st straight up as this is such a good class. Maybe a 1 for him and a 3rd.
  3. A lot of people flaming him, rightfully so, but he was known as a top QB coach before he became a disaster of an HC. That being said, it’s easy to flame the jags, cause they’re a joke.
  4. Mayfield: 21 interceptions + 2 fumbles lost = 23 Allen: 9 interceptions = 4 fumbles lost = 13 23-13 = 10. Also worth noting Josh had +4 tds. I gotcha... PFF's problem is that they ignore football and look at arbitrary statistics that don't mean *****. This is really all that needs to be said about the conversation, honestly. I think you'd be hard pressed to find any metric that has enough weight to remove all of the above statistics in this conversation. Maybe just straight up QB wins, but we know who has more of those as well.
  5. Commonly referred to as "monica-ing" in the Clinton household.
  6. All of this is well and fine.... Mayfield still had 10 more turnovers than Allen. They're worthless shills and they're biased against Josh.
  7. This seems very unlikely, but I would do a lot of illegal things to make this happen.
  8. You must suck at arguing. Mennonite pacifists could dominate that argument without breaking a sweat.
  9. The Taysom Hill hype needs to go away. Super annoying. I wouldn't hate Freeman, Addison, or Norman as low cost veteran signings.
  10. We could do a committee to rate the teams selections? I would be willing to serve on a committee for that, but doing it all would be difficult. Also, @Virgil, April is a long way off, but I’d likely be willing to help run it next time. I know one year we had a spreadsheet, that might be helpful and I can help manage that.
  11. 64 picks and no TE’s... I’d say we have a bit of a blind spot:p
  12. I think the lions need to hire me to be their GM... my haul for this exercise: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU Leki Fotu, DT, Utah 3 third rounders 2 fourth rounders 1 fifth 1 sixth extra 2020 1st and Second rounders. Not bad at all.
  13. @CNYfan and the Rams have traded the Rams have traded the 63rd pick to the Detroit Lions for the 67th and 91st pick in the 2020 NFL draft. With the 63rd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select Leki Fotu, DT, Utah Leki will slot right in as the NT/1tech beside Derrick Browns 3tech and create a dominant middle that will make running impossible and will allow the pocket to be pushed. I wanted an edge here, but I was shocked to see Fotu (considered the best beef at DT in the class) was still on the board and im quite happy solidifying the middle of my DL for the next 10 years and I can use my third round picks for an Edge player. @BuffaloHokie13 and the Seahawks are up to close this thing out.
  14. Word on the street is that the lions, who own like 80% of the third round, are interested in getting back into the second.
  15. With the 55th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia. This guys a steal at this point coming off injury. We have some guys at CB but the future is uncertain and Hall will be perfect going forward.
  16. Should be. He's been pretty blah since getting paid. We had to let coleman walk due to the money spent on Freeman. RB may not be the highest need, but getting rid of Freeman and grabbing a stud like Taylor works for me.
  17. With the 47th pick in the NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Johnathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin. Devonta Freeman is really not cutting it. Taylor is a workhorse who will allow us to become more balanced on offense, and will help ease the load on Matt Ryans aging shoulders. The pressence of a true threat in the backfield will help mask some of the holes on the offensive line and will allow Julio and Calvin to see less resistance. @Just Joshin' and the New York flying pile of dung (aka Jets) are on the clock.
  18. it does seem like pretty fair speculation. They are drowning, he’s a 3 ton weight whose not worth nearly as much as he’s getting, and they can’t get out of it without trading. as for the OP. I would wonder how much of a dent this would cause our cap, but I do kind of like the idea if they’re willing to pay for us to take him. I doubt they will do that though, which means it’s unlikely they trade him. I think people are looking at it wrong. Take off the name and what he should be and ask if you’re willing to pay 17 million dollars for a good (could be great) #2 option behind Singletary, and say a 3rd round pick. That to me is closer to worth it; but that’s still a whole lot of cheddar.
  19. did you get Lamb, Love, and Gallimore? Holy poop man!
