  1. nope. Rule number one of heated confrontations- keep mega details to yourself and reveal them a week later. There is literally no reason to immediately give pertinent information as to why you just assaulted someone on national television. Pack it up in your backpack and keep it on the DL till later. obviously.
  2. Right, but the burden of proof is on Garret, who claims it was said. And unless he can prove that it was said, he is 100% open to legal action. If he hadn’t come out and doubled down on it, it likely doesn’t matter one bit at this point. But here we are. ?
  3. no, it will likely be about guarantees, and bonuses and what not. His price will likely be pretty consistent among the three without a huge variance unless one of the teams goes crazy. The Redskins have been known to do that, so it’s possible.
  4. Tomlin came out with a strong denial of the racial slur. Said if it had happened, he’d have heard about it sooner than it was revealed. still feels like Garret is trying to skirt some of the blame and playing the race card is a way to do so.
  5. I get the sentiment, but a bidding war doesn’t necessarily mean expensive.
  6. I like the idea of Olsen If they’re convinced Knox and Sweeney can be the future of the position.
  7. Depends on what they’d give us to take the cap hit for them. I think he’d be a decent compliment to Motor, but I he’s not worth the money unless it includes a 2nd or 3rd.
  8. Leftist: "Rich, old white men are ruining the country! Who can save us??!" Rich Old, White Man: "Fear not, young children. I am here." Leftists: "Our Hero!"
  9. I think Singletary will be much more valuable than that list indicates.
  10. I expect he'll be a bit pricey for what we're wanting to commit into the back end considering we're gonna have a star CB, and two safety contracts to do soon (plus Taron before too long as a solid nickle back)... However, if he comes in under 7m a year, he'd be near the top of my FA wish list.
  11. Oh, I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings? Norman would be cheap, and his best years (when he was the best corner in the league) came while playing for Mcd. The memory is short in this business, and I guarantee Beane wasn't the reason the tag was pulled- whether or not he agreed with the idea. Johnson was overrated before he got paid, and now he's garbage.
  12. If we're gonna take a flier on a redemption story Corner, I'd prefer Josh Norman.
  13. Oof. If that's accurate, how do you even begin to call that a "fair and impartial jury of peers" The problem with this development is that people are inevitably going to wrap it in partisanship (see our wonderful resident idiot in his thread based on this) when in reality, it doesn't matter whether stone was guilty or not. If the trail wasn't fair, there either has to be a reversal of the ruling, or a re-trial.
  14. I see reading comprehension (and general comprehension) is still difficult for you.
  15. Oh *****! Tibs found the silver bullet! Quick! Get this to Nancy, wake her up if you need to- she actually operates better when hungover. If it happens quick we can get the impeachment going before the weekend!
  16. All good points. Just hope stafford has a good year and boosts his value.
  17. I think people are severely underrating Stafford and the work he's done in Detroit, while failing to realize how bad that team has been at team building the past 20 years....
  18. It makes some level of sense if they're in love with Tua or Herbert. You hope you aren't picking this high again anytime soon, so you get the future of the franchise while you can. The problem is, the Lions have consistently shown that they are incapable of building a winning team, coaching worth a crap, or utilizing the decent pieces they do have. They're a joke. Does moving on from Stafford, who has definitely done more for winning than anyone else associated with that organization, actually make them a better team? I don't think he's been the problem there the past ten years.
  19. I’ve seen enough just watching YouTube highlights to know that he has ball tracking skills that make him a great receiver.
  20. Had no idea Columbus has airports....
  21. The only way this makes sense is if we’re looking to flip him for a 2nd or 3rd round pick, or if we’re just needing to spend the cash.
