  1. Dawkins and Milano are going into their contract years. Typically this is when the discussion begins. Tre's got a 5th year, but the idea would be to get out in front of it and lock him down before the market re-sets. He's likely going to be the top paid CB in the NFL. If we can get him done before Ramsey get's his, that's gonna be better.
  2. Yep. That's exactly right. I thought to myself: "self, what is the one thing we need to find in a political candidate. How about shitheadiness?... That's Perfect!"
  3. No wonder you love Biden, he makes you look well educated!
  4. For instance, he can explain who his wife is, and who his sister is. Give him enough chances and he'll nail that trivia! Anchor: "We now take you live to a basement in a town much like your own where we have exclusive footage of a Bernie Bro in his natural habitat" Reporter: "Be very quiet, we don't want to spook this majestic creature." *Camera pans across poorly lit, half finished basement to a desk in the corner- blue light from a monitor casts a shadow against the lone figure sitting at the desk. Just above his head you can barely make out the Che Guevara poster hanging prominently above the desk. We can't see it from this angle, but the matching Vladimir Lenin poster hangs on the inside of the closet door where his Dominoes pizza uniform shirts are piled in various states of unwash. The 31 year old, sits hunched over a desktop computer with two screens. One screen has a paused game of fortnite where we can see his avatar (a rather busty, scantily clad female character) in the middle of some mission or another. The other screen displays twitter. This is where his focus is. He scans the screen, muttering to himself over and over, his voice and exasperation grows with each sentence.* Reporter: "Let's try to get closer and see what it's saying..." Bernie Bro: "I can't believe their doing it again. These fascists are once again stopping the revolution! This is what the people want! We will not be silenced! We will have our justi---" *The ranting is interrupted by the sound of the basement door opening. A shaft of light exposes the surroundings, revealing the empty Doritos bags and mountain dew bottles strewn across the room. A voice calls from upstairs.* Bro's mom: "Kyle, your boss is on the phone- he says you were supposed to be at work an hour ago." Bro: "I can't go to work today! I have things I need to do here!" Bro's mom: "He says this is the third time this week you've been late and he doesn't have any other delivery drivers today! My car is all gassed up and ready for you sweetheart!" *The creature suddenly jerks to his feet and stomps to the bottom of the stairs, knocking a bag of Cheetos on the ground in the process." Bro: "Im not going mom! LEAVE ME ALONE! YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY OVER ME!" *An audible sigh comes from the top of the stairs* Bro's mom: "Okay Honey. I'll tell him you're not feeling well and it's not safe for you to drive." *The door begins closing at the top of the stairs." Bro: "Wait, mom!" Bro's mom: "Yes sweetie?" Bro: "Can you go get me some more mountain dew? I'm all out." Bro's mom: "Of course darling."
  5. So in football assistant coaches go on to coach other places and they are branches on a HC’s “coaching tree.” If they do well, that coach has a good tree, If not, it’s rarely mentioned. I wonder if the same applies in politics... if Biden gets the nomination and loses the general, would that be indicative that Obama’s “political tree” isn’t good?... hm.
  6. Anytime! I will admit that I’ve only had a couple scotches, but I’ve been meaning to begin searching out a type that I like. It seems an expensive game to get into though...
  7. I learned all about numbers in School tibs- both sides of the number line, that’s how I can recognize your IQ wayyy down there left of 0.
  8. Is that what Biden and Sanders call it when they chase their Viagra down with a scotch then promptly fall asleep?...
  9. Would be quite happy with Campbell for cheap. Norwell is interesting to me. He was an all-pro in Carolina and then disappeared in Jacksonville. I wouldn’t hate to try and redeem him, but I imagine his contract would be too $ for the risk.
  10. https://www.espn.com/fantasy/football/story/_/id/28821779/fantasy-football-matthew-berry-20-things-learned-nfl-combine?platform=amp some random post combine/general offseason information here. One thing that stood out is his nod towards Rivera potentially wanting Cam in DC... maybe not super realistic, but it would make some level of sense. Hypothetically, if Riverboat wants Cam, and maybe the panthers want Tua, would cam be worth enough to swap 2 for 7? Or would there need to be more Involved? just a crazy idea that struck me.
  11. Will Biden get sympathy votes? Seriously though, he ran Hillary in circles and she is a much more proficient political actor than Biden ever was, not to mention not as senile....
  12. Agreed. I’m fine giving him a bump as he’s been good and is underpaid, but if he wants superstar money my suggestion is to let him head off to the great wild where he will find his money and also discover how unfriendly life is outside one of the most DB friendly schemes in the league. McD took two replacement level Safeties and turned them into a great safety combo. He took a late first round pick (wasn’t he like the 5th CB taken) and made him a top 3 corner in the league. He took a 4th round pick and made him a very good slot corner. And he took a UDFA and made him a decent/good #2 corner. Not to take anything away from these players, but his track record here, as well as in Carolina, would make it seem that life is a lot easier for a DB when McD is about.
  13. Good deal for Denver, and being on a functional team will get him back to a high level after a couple of down years. Also, my favorite part of this is that it indicates the off-season is starting in earnest now! I don't know this for sure, but I'm pretty sure he's more of a man corner? Less value for us in a schematic way.
  14. Ugh. Just realized free agency is a week later than I thought. Stupid NFL stretching everything out.
  15. Yep. Talked smack about Allen and then got violated by a beautiful shoulder fake by Josh.
  16. I usually am a banger. Big, not overly athletic. I get the ball on rebounds and put it up in the paint. Works pretty well for me and then I'll drop a three every once in a while just to mess with peoples brains. lol
  17. It would be crazy, but does it make some sense? If you're going full rebuild and think at least this coming year is a loss, and maybe the next two, would it not be better to get the value out of him now as opposed to having to pay him/not have him when you're finally ready to get there? They rode him like a horse last year. If they do that for two more years and then have to pay him you got a gurley situation right when your window opens. Would he get a first round pick right now?
  18. It's definitely not. But, it gets me out of the house and usually only causes mild damage.
