  1. I don’t hate Clowney for like 5m. He is a disruptive player who would do well in our rotation- he’s just never gonna be a 15 sack guy.
  2. I actually had the thought that Watson to broncos wouldn’t be too horrible as it would create a lot of completion in that division. Just keep him out of the East.
  3. I had originally read that he signed with the Jags... now that I know he hasn’t, I actually do kinda want him...
  4. Josh’s rookie year he shoved josh in the back out of bounds several times if I remember correctly.
  5. Bill is going full soccer mom to Pats fans right now: “I gave you life, and I can take it away!”
  6. 13 million dollars.......... bill wat you doin?
  7. I’d be happy to get Hunt. That being said - no idea if original guy is legit but he’s in an all out twitter war with the son of the Jags owner and it’s amazing.
  8. Buying a team because you can’t build a team ain’t the way...
  9. Maybe so, and there's nothing wrong with that, but it isn't the typical motive for paying a guy.
  10. Maybe I’m weird, but I can’t watch a game that happened in the past. I realize that it doesn’t change anything, but knowing that it’s over always ruins it for me and I end up looking at the score.
  11. Guys want to be in Buffalo.... our that in my veins!
  12. Pretty pretty cool.... I was meh on him either way, but for that number I’m happy to have him back!
  13. It’s a good year to be a bonafide contender with star power, primetime slating, and a culture that is admired and respected around the league. I expect several players on one year deals that will leave us asking “how did we do that?!”
  14. I’m fine giving them a 5th or 6th, but I just don’t see paying him 8-9m in this market when he’d be lucky to get 5-6. I’d rather pick him up after he gets cut and give him a one year 5m base with incentives to get him in the 7-8 range. He’s not a sure thing, so let him bet on himself.
  15. That’s a good deal. He’s one of few running backs worth paying cause he is so diverse in his skill set. That being said- two things: 1- that draft last year has led to two top 65 picks backing up highly paid starters. Not sure that’s how a team trying to maximize a HOF’s last SB window should play things. 2- not sure why you don’t just franchise tag him? 8 million or so this year, do it again next year and you get closer to the 12 million they’re paying him anyways... if the franchise tag doesn’t work for RB’s, it doesn’t work for anyone. - I suppose he could have made it clear he wouldn’t play on the tag, but I haven’t heard anything about that. Lol. Meaning the pre-legal tampering tampering came up with a bum market. Gonna be interesting to see how this FA period shakes out.
  16. Right, and that’s part of the game. The difference is, if Shaq had stayed (assuming we offered him a deal) at a reasonable price, he would likely have been an important piece of our team this past year and he’d be here still. Part of making a FA decision out to be looking at the team and deciding if they’re going to value you for the duration of the deal. Part of that is about organization structure and consistency - the dolphins haven’t had much of that lately. Plus, you go play for a BB disciple, you get the BB treatment. Ask Kyle Van Noy.
  17. yep. I’m not ever gonna fault a guy for getting the bag he can when he can. But I don’t feel compelled to feel sorry when chasing said bag leads to the player being unhappy/negative career things happening. If I leave a job I love with great coworkers and an environment that helps me be the best version of myself where I’m making 45k a year and I go across town and take a job at 50k where the culture sucks, my job is different and I can’t be as successful, and I’m miserable, I don’t really deserve anyone’s sympathy.
  18. meh, he shoulda stayed here and won instead of chasing cheddar. I like him, but guys that chase money instead of considering where their value is/what situation gives them the best chance to succeed and win usually end up dealing with situations like this.
  19. Really looking forward to Shaq’s 7 sack season resurgence in Buffalo in 2022.
  20. As a fan of human flourishing, I absolutely love to see this and am happy for Jordan and am proud of him representing my team with his positive story and influence. As a fan of the Bills, I’m excited to see if this helps him to continue to grow into a great player. He was very good last year (maybe his best year?) and having a monkey that sized off the back has to help the on field product, looking forward to another step this year!
  21. Smith is an interesting one... physical specimen whose raw and had had some character issues.
  22. Beane hasn’t traded back, that doesn’t mean he won’t. He has been playing with house money for several off-season, moving to establish the core of the team and relying on cap space to fill out the Depth Chart. This year we don’t have that luxury. We’re at the point in our rebuild where we need cheap contracts to fill the back half of the team. Lower level picks that offset the price of resigning blue chippers. I’m not saying it’s a definite we do trade back, but it’s definitely a possibility- especially since it looks like we might be in a barren spot for what we may be looking for. 30 might be too high for the second tier of DE’s and IOL’s do trading back might be better value.
  23. I personally am starting to look to the second tier of DE in the draft: Oweh, Tryon, Basham, Perkins, Odeyingbo. etc.
