I mean, we went into 2018 with Andre Homes and Kelvin Benjamin who were tall dudes.

I actually prefer his collegiate running mate at UVA, Joe Reed as a late round flier. Kind of a gadgety player who can run the ball, do some screen stuff, and is stellar in the return game. He could fight for both McKenzie and Holmes roster spots.

One benefit of the deep WR class is that guys like this, who are probably 5-7th round picks any other year, are going to go free after the draft. I expect us to draft at least one WR, potentially 2, and then bring in several UDFA’s to generate competition. Diggs, Brown and Beasley are locked in- after that there isn’t a sure thing on the roster.

I don’t hate the idea of throwing a late round QB into the mix. You need camp arms if nothing else. Maybe he turns into something and is a good backup, or is there it Josh falters, or is a guy who can be a trade piece down the road. People forget how amazing it worked for the Redskins to grab Cousins after spending a fortune on RG3 - even if they screwed it in the long run. The draft should never be approached as a “this year” situation. Yes you can look at who helps you most now, especially in the early rounds, but you have to keep an eye on the 5 year plan. Every spot on the roster should have competition and “hot seats” from our young QB, to our All-Pro cornerback.

Matt Barkley is a top 64 QB in the NFL (give or take). That’s my point. The QB run would be crazy and every teams first pick would be the BPA at QB. That’s where the game is played.

I can't agree with this. If the entire league was at zero, the top 20 QB's (however you want to rank them) would go 1-20 at least. If you have the 10th pick and you're building a team from scratch, would you rather have Josh Allen and Joe Mixon rd 1 and 2, or Christian McCaffery and Matt Barkley? QB is such a premium that I think realistically the first 32 picks would be QB's.

Having a RB coming off a Star season is a hard place to be.

I can't help but wonder if Fauci is just enjoying the limelight... These epidemiologists are an interesting psychology study for me - they spend their entire career planning and preparing for the worst case scenario, which really makes me wonder if their prone to seeing the worst case scenario in something like this... A self fulfilling prophesy, so to speak.

The argument against, whether it’s accurate or not, is that he’s a jack of all trades, master of none type. We’ve seen that lately with Cordelle Patterson, Paris Campbell, and others. Guys without a position can struggle to be consistent impact players. I think he’d be great for us as guy we move around, but I’m not sure I’d like him before the 3rd.

I like him, but even round 3 is kinda high for me. My big concern is that he doesn’t truly have a position. He’s got value as a back, and value as a receiver. That versatility is nice, but there’s been a lot of guys who are unknowns/tweeners who struggle to put it together.

I think Allen would go top 10. It’s an interesting thought exercise... A spin off question... who would be the first non-QB taken?

The 20- 60 range is never as clear as people make it out to be. He seems like he’ll be hard pressed to last past 40, but he does fall in a group of CB’s that could all move around some after Okudah and Henderson.

I love Shenault, but I struggle with a second round WR at this point. I would be very happy with Lewis in the second. He would be able to come in slow, work in our great medical facility to get his body right, and grow into the position at the pro level.

Only to the extent that the typical assemblies I would be involved in are canceled. Aside from that I’m going about my life as normal. But your what-about-ism is a non-starter. How I live and choose to rebel/not rebel doesn’t not have any impact on the legal right of the constitution, not the government, to determine what rights are sacred.

I don’t give a rats ass what they believe. The constitution is the authority structure of the United States. If the government can change or ignore it under any circumstances, it’s worthless and we have no rule of law. It was wrong when it was blacks being enslaved, it was wrong when it was Japanese being interned, and it’s wrong when it’s done in the name of “public safety.” Anything that violates/changes/ignores the constitution without following the stringent rules set forth in the constitution to do so is wrong and illegal. Doesn’t matter which administration does it, or which government branch signs off on it. Also, saying that the constitution, the founding document from which our entire government springs forth is the ultimate authority is not an extreme position. It’s logical, and it’s true.
