  1. He was a bill before he was a panther, right?
  2. Not sure how Bold, but DJ's mock last night was the first time I've seen this even though it seems pretty obvious to me: The Bucs will take a WR with the 14th pick. I don't expect one of the elite T's to be there at 14, so instead of settling they will grab Jeudy, Ruggs, or Lamb (whichever is left) to give that last piece to their offense.
  3. this doesn't seem bold to me... This is pretty much exactly what I expect to happen.
  4. Thanks to all who made this a success again and for @Virgil’s vision and @BuffaloHokie13’s OCD showing up in spreadsheets! It’s a great exercise and fun to get a feel of the real deal!
  5. Yup. It's a strange feeling to know that we're not only able to play a game right now, before the draft, but that we'd be a top 10-15 team right now before the draft.
  6. At this point they'll be paying Yannick pretty close to the level of what Mack wanted then. Right, that would be a good move. Trading back the Mack pick feels like a wash.
  7. Right, but unless Ferrell becomes as good as mack, the idea remains. If you trade a player for huge assets that can be good, but if you turn around and dump all of the assets right into replacing that player, it's stupid.
  8. Except that they spent a high first last year on Clelin Ferrel who turned out to be underwhelming (though still early) so they've spent 2 firsts to replace Mack who is a better player than Yannick and Ferrel together. Would you rather have Khalil Mack and Devin White, or Clelin Ferrel and Yannick. Figure if they have Maxx Crosby anyways, I'm taking Mack and White all day.
  9. Draft Network and NFL.com are my main resources, but I also like to narrow in and just google certain prospects to see whose got them where and what the prevailing thought is.
  10. I see Baun and Fulton as trade up targets for the Bills if either of them is sitting there in the late 30's to early 40's. It's the lions who would have to move, and I wouldn't be shocked to see them do it... The lions are stupid and have no direction. Because they're idiots.
  11. With the 118th pick in the 2020 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos select James Lynch, DL, Baylor. We thought about going with Devon Hamilton, a true Nose tackle who maybe fits our needs better, but Lynch is way too good a value here. We’ll plug him in at end on our 3-4 and he’ll be free to hunt the QB. Adding him and Jurrell Casey (for peanuts) plus bringing back Shelby Harris and getting Chubb back healthy I’m confident our front 7 will be very good this year. @NewEra and the Falcons are on the clock.
  12. If Josh thrives in a season marred by shorted offseason work it'll be because it allows him to focus more on his individual needs and attributes.
  13. I accept no liability for anyone's financial ruin (though I expect a cut if my answers result in large winnings), but these are my best guesses. We agree on most all of these, but you messed up with 8 and 9. If 8 is over, then nine can't be offensive. Over 15.5 defensive players would be 16 at least, and then you'd get no more than 16 offensive so it would be a push.
  14. Pretty straight forward. Our division rival is likely to come out of this week with someone they assume will be their franchise QB for the next 10-15 years. Who do we want that to be? Who scares you the most? Whose easiest to root against? Who do you expect to be a bust? Do you want them to draft a colossal bust, or a middling guy who is never good enough? In 2018 I wanted the Jets to draft Rosen as I knew he would be a bust. Darnold I thought would have a chance at a decent career, though that’s still to be determined. I personally want them to take Herbert, either passing on Tua or being jumped in front of. I don’t think Herbert will be a franchise changing QB, and I worry that Tua (if he stays healthy) will be. With that being said, I’m happy to root against whoever they draft, but Tua is harder to root against for me, both as a player and as a person.
  15. The white on white is just plain nice. I dig it.
  16. But which one will you cut before the season starts?
  17. If you send your desired pick (or two or three) to virg, hokie, and myself we’ll do our best to make sure you get who you want.
  18. The Raiders and @Logic have traded the 91st (136pts) pick to the Broncos for the 95th (120pts) and 178th pick (19pts). With the 91st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select Van Jefferson, WR, Florida. We jumped up just a bit to ensure we could get this guy because we feel he is the perfect last piece to our WR room. The size and ball skills of Sutton, the speed of Ruggs, and now the shiftiness/underneath seperation of Jefferson. Hamilton and Patrick round out the room nicely with Fant as a dominant presence at TE and Gordon, Lindsey, and Freeman working out of the backfield. With our improved line and these playmakers (plus some nice additions on a Defense that really rounded out down the stretch under Fangio and will continue to improve) we are confident that Lock will build off what was a really quietly impressive rookie year. We plan on contending this year and we're confident we have what we need to run with the champs. Ravens and @MrEpsYtown are on the clock.
  19. I agree to an extent. I want a Defensive playmaker with one of those picks.
  20. Depends on if they want to draft someone. He might be nice competition for the backend of the depth.
  21. I actually like Edwards there. Probably not the biggest need, but his skill set would be a great addition to what we have. Besides, there’s not much left at CB or DE. I don’t see the draft going this way, but if it does WR is probably the right pick.
