  1. Trying to decide if I should re-up my student stream account for the season. Between the month of primetime games, and the possibility that large chunks of the season will be on non-sunday days... Anyone know what happens to those paying for ST if half the games end up on saturday?
  2. Bad legs on an old CB who looked like he lost a step / was never the fastest guy isn't a great situation to be in.
  3. Meh, that's more a matter of specifically deceptive reporting to fit the narrative they want to drive. This is, I think, more just an example of people wearing a certain set of glasses as they watch practice. Either the "Pro-josh" glasses, or the "Josh sucks" glasses. What I've found in the media, and somewhat around here as well, is that those who are in the positive side of things are more likely to acknowledge the middle ground such as "Josh had some nice plays yesterday, but he really struggled here and here and I hope he works on this. I'm confident he'll continue to grow." versus those on the negative side who seem to really struggle to acknowledge any good without draping it in disclaimers and negativity such as "While Allen's touchdown pass on 3rd down was a nice throw, he completely missed a window to John Brown on second down which is really indicative of the fact that he's still not seeing the field like an starting NFL quarterback should. Im not encouraged by his performance." If there's one reporter and Thad is that reporter, I'm still more likely to believe the other reporter. At least when it comes to Josh.
  4. It feels to me like we will be looking at Phillips, Oliver, and Epenesa as the bedrock of our (very good/elite) Defensive Line going forward by the midpoint of this season. Gabe Davis is super exciting to me. To be that big and physical while still having some speed, plus I love that we don't "need" him right now. Let the kid grow and learn from some great teachers and contribute as he can.
  5. We're getting really good reports from our rookie class so far, and that's super exciting. I expect 2-3 guys from this class to contribute greatly on this team which is incredible given the fact that we're essentially returning 22 starters....
  6. It's always interesting to me how multiple reporters can watch the same day of practice from Allen and walk away with two different stories.
  7. Oh look, the government is full of pieces of *****. Who knew? https://www.wpxi.com/news/investigates/confidential-agreement-uncovered-allowed-car-show-happen-despite-covid-19-restrictions/BUN43H7C3ZDCJJ2MIIEYXRN6AU/?fbclid=IwAR01GH-rKBunraol26iS0pcWHbbMIIAItf51xJ8K8qRCxwZjNSyo5acRFvk
  8. @YoloinOhio, you're amazing! As someone who recently dumped twitter after finding it to be an incredible time waste for little return, I appreciate having a place I can streamline my time wasting and actually get what I'm looking for. As far as I'm concerned, you can post in any thread and through any format you want. -- So long as you don't post in threads that involve rumors cause every time I see that little yellow avatar in a "Bills in on Clowney" thread I get a heart murmur.
  9. Fantastic! Love Tre’s mind and talent. Also, as some have mentioned, love the genuine respect you can hear he has for these guys he’s studying. When you’re the best, you recognize the best. Pay that man.
  10. Too bad he’s wearing a stupid number. (Not that it’s bad on others (specifically Lorax), just one a big DE it looks dumb.)
  11. Much akin to Leveon bell complaining about being on a good team and then signing for less money with the Jets... Stupid is as stupid does.
  12. For sure. My take is that teams will either have it figured out and nobody will be missing time, or the season will get scratched.
  13. Im a personal believer in the idea that you can't have too many pass rushers to throw at offenses. I think we've seen several teams win Superbowls in the last 20 years under that philosophy. That being said, I don't know if he's of more value now than say a young, price controlled pass rusher in the second round next year would be.
  14. He'd be a great addition for their devastating playoff loss.
  15. Seems hard to believe this will be necessary if they get to the postseason without the bubble...
  16. Seattle seems questionable cause of just spending a boat on Adams. Dallas just signed Everton Griffen but could still make sense. Eagles make sense, as do the Patriots and the Jets. It’s a Clowney situation though wherein you send a second (in a draft that seems likely to suck) and you get him for one year, can tag him next year or sign him, and if not you let him walk and get a comp pick. It’s a good deal for a whole lot of teams- is included. @HappyDays - correct me if I’m wrong, but they can’t negotiate with him now, right? So he could essentially be a rental and comp pick if we’re worried about future $$.
  17. A 2 plus Murphy would be nice, but I doubt we’re interested. They’re happy with their nucleus and I doubt they think he’s the missing piece alone.
  18. Same way you do at Walmart and all the other places that have been open this whole time.
