  1. There’s already several injuries and I think it has more to do with offensive style. If he can earn a role in Detroit he’ll have a chance at more carries that he would have in KC. Plus, Detroit’s rookie is hurt and hasn’t been involved in camp while KC’s is all the rage right now.
  2. Kind of my take on it. If personal discernment isn’t capable of cutting out the trash, you probably aren’t going to add much to this board to begin with. If newbies need a list to figure out where the asylum escapees are, they might be one themselves. I think there’s a difference between a helpful “hey, I see you’re new and trying to debate drool face over there- just so you know, he doesn’t have a history of honest intellectual debate and most around here ignore his schtick, choose for yourself.” And “here’s a list of those who you should ignore according to the cognoscenti.” I’ve been here a couple years and wouldn’t feel comfortable telling newbies who should and shouldn’t be on their ignore list, but I’m fine mentioning that certain posters have questionable track records.
  3. I mean, we saw the mods randomly wander down here a while ago and cause some havoc on stuff that was seemingly par the course for this arena so I’m not entirely sure I have confidence in the current stable of mods to be able to strike a balance of patrolling these waters without shutting down the docks.
  4. Right, but those are all code of conduct violations that should be dealt with with a proper authority structure which really comes back to the how do we have moderation without losing the distinctness of PPP. I am very pro the idea of a PPP mod who understands the minutia of this place but will get rid of the human pieces of garbage who do the above referenced. I think a mob sanctioned ignore list is a questionable solution that leads to a slippery slope, but that’s just my take. Is this like those guys who were done with this place when the Bills took Allen over Rosen, only to make new accounts and bash Allen?... hm.
  5. Darn. I do about 80% of my time here on the phone.
  6. The only thing I know about cell streaming is getting local games via Verizon. Sometimes I can get local games through my NFL app on Apple TV, but I really don’t know what the qualification are for that... I guess we’ll find out soon. Lol
  7. Speaking of ignore- does anyone know if it can be done on mobile browser?
  8. Tibs is a strange one cause he spews a lot of crap without being willing to discuss it like an adult (choosing instead to stick to his “orange man bad” mantra), but he’s actually shown to be a human and have some fun conversations. I like going back and forth with him on some stuff, while other stuff is pointless. He’s also pretty damn funny at times. There are many on the above list that have no redeeming qualities. I’m not sure I’m in favor of a group ignore list. I get the idea, but I think it should be a personal decision in each case as it should be about each poster knowing what they can and can’t put up with instead of some communal shunning. My .02
  9. Once again I will post as I do every other year: Amazon needs to buy out all the broadcast rights and charge a couple hundred bucks for access to all games. Come on Bezos! You’re taking over the world in every other way- why not this??
  10. Far as I know Direct TV is the only game in town when it comes to authorizes out of market games. If you know a college student who would let you use their email and name you can get online streaming via Sunday Ticket U for like $100. That’s what I do. Otherwise, your only option is less than legal streams which are spotty at best.
  11. It’s more about usage I would imagine. He’d likely be inactive/barely used insurance.
  12. Now he just needs to go get that DPOY that Gilmore won with his “0 touchdowns in coverage” bs.
  13. Damn I love this kid. Regardless of how this season goes, and even regardless of how Allen pans out - we’re in a new era of Bills football wherein we’re taking guys who play and act like Hall of Famers and we’re keeping them here- and they want to stay!!
  14. Only one presidential election under my belt. Voted Cruz in the primary and Trump in the general.
  15. I expect it will be over by halftime. Bills score early and the defense smothers the Jets... or so I hope. Now I’m nervous. But alas: Bills 31 Jets 10
  16. Imagine how far he’ll be able to throw once they finish dropping...
  17. Gonna set an alarm on my phone so I don’t end up forgetting my way out in week 2 this year. anyone know if there’s an app for this?
  18. What we don't know: The route of the SB parade. What size SB ring Josh Allen wears.
  19. Not good. That’s the kind of thing that can stick and keep your speed and agility down which is 98% of Lamar’s game.
  20. I think he had an up and down season. He was consistently the weak spot on our line though, so if they can fix that while filling the Mongo gap, I’ll take it. yeah, he was rock solid top 5 RT but had some injuries and got stuck in Carolina’s terrible OL room. If he can recover (and we have a reputation of getting hurt players back to where they need to be) and if the coaching is good (which it really seems to be) there’s no reason not to think he could be very solid for us, with the potential for being amazing.
  21. I don’t disagree with you on the overall premise, but two things: 1- Williams is only 27, and while he’s on a 1 yr deal, he could be resigned and isn’t necessarily a stop gap. 2- There’s a fine balance between living through growing pains and holding the team back. Not saying Ford would hold the team back at T, but if they think Williams/Ford is the best chance to win, I support that. I think it can be done in a way that helps grow Ford as a player and still keep an eye out for him at T.
  22. Seeing SF as a mentioned destination. Would make sense due to Sherman and the getting to play SEA twice a year. Going to Dallas is good cause it gives me one more reason to hate them.
