  1. It feels much quieter to me, but maybe that’s imagination.
  2. That is not something a team captain is gonna say lightly...
  3. This thread has prompted me to utilize the ignore function, and that is a very nice thing!
  4. I wouldn't be too cavalier using the word's siege and white house in the same sentence if I was them...
  5. Great post. My best suggestion is to keep a vomit bucket near by. You'll need it by the time you get to the T. Also have some mouthwash ready, and then get back to cheering on the Bills beating the Jets.
  6. Just depends who Drew Lock is. They have some good pieces on Defense (losing Miller is such a huge loss) and Fangio is one of the best defensive minds. On offense they have an exciting cast of playmakers (depending on Sutton injury) and their line should be somewhat better. I don't see them as a SB contending team, but they have direction for the first time since Manning retired.
  7. Ah.... I have them as a sneaky good team that I like and I see that feeling begin to erode away... I hate injuries... I know they’re inevitable, I just hate how something so simple can change so much.
  8. It’s really a different genre. I used to listen to a lot of “new country” and enjoyed it then somewhere I realized it’s just trash. There’s some good artists and good music to be found, but for every Jamie Johnson (who I think is pretty good in general) there’s three Brad Paisley’s and their pop twang bs.
  9. Something about the way he sang those songs when he was older you just knew that it was the gravely voice of a man who could take your life if he wanted it.
  10. It doesn’t fire me up so much as makes me feel all of the emotions. Which is a type of firing up... just in general I find it one of the best songs. Now, a song that would fire me up before a football game would be “god’s gonna cut you down.” That makes me want to smash some faces.
  11. I mean, wasn’t the entire media world up in arms about how going on with Free Agency and the draft was the biggest mistake the NFL could possibly make and it would end in disaster? Did those guys ever admit they were wrong? People like to be sensationalist but rarely admit when they’re full of it.
  12. Im going on Change.org right now. I’ll link the petition here.
  13. Maybe we can have two threads: one for those watching, and one for those not watching where they can discuss how they’re not watching....
  14. There’s few changes that wouldn’t improve MNF.... what you described would be awesome. I’d be fine with just a random, different Johnny Cash song each week. Why do we need a specific hype song for football?? It’s football! The hype is built in. I would gladly sit and listen to Hurt in preparation of a football game.
  15. Well, I assume you watch football- as you’re here. I also assume you watch games involving certain players with bad backgrounds (did you watch week three last year?) - does this viewership mean you support or don’t care about domestic violence? Or do you draw a distinction between some of the bad apples out there and the general whole while personally not rooting for those bad dudes?
  16. Hang on- let’s go back to your initial claim: My understanding of your point here is that conscientious people who are against domestic violence should not watch the NFL because doing so is an active support of domestic violence? Is that your point with this? - if it’s not, please explain your point so I can understand before trying to respond or counter.
  17. I took Diggs in a later round (maybe 7) to be my WR 2 to Thielen. Bills DST went like three picks before I was going to take it, but I snagged Pittsburgh so I'm okay with that trade off.
  18. Could be relatively minor, but I bet the Vikings were wishing they had just traded for a good pass rusher... oh wait!
  19. This feels in bad taste. I’m on the “less worried” about covid side of the table, but this still doesn’t seem like it needs to be asked.
  20. Kinda where my brain went. Hard to imagine owners wanting to upset the Apple cart if things are running smoothly- even is smoothly is garbage for their team. I guess an interim from within would likely be able to keep things going well though. Jets start with a brutal stretch: Bills 49ers Colts And then host the Broncos. If they are dead on arrival and don’t even compete in any of these games I could see the Greggy takeover sooner than later.
