    Great example. Stats outside of context are typically worthless.

    I don’t like his YPA argument at all. In a vacuum that stat can be indicative, but in the context of a game wherein Allen took everything the defense gave him and more, it makes less sense.

    We stayed at #6 in NFL.com: Hard to argue with, not sure a win over the Jets boosts us all that much.

    Fair enough. My philosophy on it was straight forward: if the bills lost I wouldn’t care to win the survivor pool as the whole season would feel marred and I’d lose a lot of interest.

    I think it has more to do with situational basis, but it's all idiotic anyways... Should allen have done it? No. But if Knox catches it and runs it down to the five, Allen is a hero.

    I wouldnt simply cause of what we’d have to pay both in compensation and contract. The big point of question for me is whether or not we’re not using TE’s by choice, or by necessity. Knox looked good when he was out there, we just didn’t use him all that much.

    Every since Dan Hanzus started doing the NFL.com rankings I’ve actually found them to be one of the best, most honest versions out there.
