  1. People really over here arguing it doesn't matter if points are taken off the board because of referee error because "It doesn't happen often" or "It usually doesn't matter." What the heck.
  2. I know White has elite quickness, but man does this rep make duke look slow out of the break. (he also leaves some fat in the route allowing White to get back on the inside. If that was crisper he'd have more chance.) Does anyone know if Dodson has positional flex inside outside? Just by watching him in the game I like him more than Klein, but I don't know if he can slot in outside for Milano.
  3. But the sway of the bars is accounted in whether or not the kick goes through... If they miss a kick and say "but the bars were swaying 3 inches to the left" it's too bad- it has to go through the bars. So if you affix a laser to the end of the bars pointing up, you have a continuation of the bars and if it sways you still have to go between the lasers.
  4. Isn’t that done in arena or CFL? I feel like I’ve seen that somewhere...
  5. I mean, it’s a problem in of itself but who cares. Kick better next time and remove all doubt. Removing it from the All 22 and putting a separate kick in like it wouldn’t be noticed? That’s just idiotic.
  6. 2 things: 1- FG’s are only reviewable when the ball is clearly between the bars.... and at that point it needs review, why?... 2- the play is not only missing from the All-22, but they subbed in a different play???? Seriously? WTF NFL!
  7. It’s a strange thing to get to a place where guys I grew up watching are now getting nominated.
  8. That blue on white is one of my favorite combos. Somehow this will fix his fumbling problems...
  9. He's like if a DB ate a linebacker and all his family... I do understand the "he can make it great" argument, and that brings me consolation now. I just fundamentally disagree with LBers in the 40's. QB: I grew up post Kelly in the era where 12 was Brady, so no. That won't do. FB: I can probably come around on this. Gilliam looked so dang good in 41 though. 😪 TE: Flip a coin, that was my second choice after 86. CB: 24 should definitely be on my list, my bad. 31 is a good one if you're gonna be in the 30's. What other 30 would you put a CB in? S: I refuse to have a safety in 39. Choose your weapon: - Gun - Sword - Used Toilet Brush It's not my fault they've made horrible career choices.
  10. While I'm at it, ultimate numbers by position group: QB: 9 (sorry Josh) RB: 21, 26 FB: 41 (still mad at Gilliam) TE: 86 WR: 83 OT: 71, 77 G: 66, 75 C : 61 DE: 90, 94 (56 is sneaky good too for smaller speed rushers) DT: 99 (duh) LB: 55, 59, 51 (don't even talk to be about #40's LBs. Yuck.) CB: 23, 31 S: 43, 36, 32 K: 3 P: 8 KR: 11 I had to come around on 17 for Allen. I like it now, but I wanted him in 9. - I still don't like Edmunds in 49. I feel like because he's a white dude with white wristbands (at least I think he had white wristbands, but that may be my imagination) there's a level of awesomeness and uniqueness that makes 61 acceptable there.
  11. I actively root for WR's that wear numbers in the 80's and assume they will be great players. I loved Amari Cooper with the raiders, then he went to Dallas and went from #89 to #19 and you can forget it. (also, he has cowboy stench, so) Numbers matter. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you. Calvin Johnson wore #81, Zay Jones wore #11. I rest my case.
  12. Seeing Kumerow walking around in 87 led me to some research and I now know that Hodgins changed his number to 16 after cuts. What a letdown. I no longer envision him as a future star.
  13. It was a great pass, very much one that he has struggled with in the past. He hit one to Duke in the Tenessee game that looked very similar to this - 20+ yards, crossing pattern, dropped it over the outside shoulder. The narrative that Josh can't make every throw is just lazy. Anyone who has watched him these three years can tell you that he can make every single throw and, it's a problem of consistency.
  14. Yeah and the Jets offense got better cause of it!
  15. I want Milano and Edmunds back and healthy, but honestly if I had to choose one it would be Milano. Dodson looked like he could handle himself out there whereas the drop from Milano to Kline seems higher.
  16. Not even sure I'd wish that on Dolphins fans... Wait... I would.
  17. Oh gosh... If that guy ever shows his face here can we please have a sticky'd thread where everyone just takes turn calling him an idiot? We need that kind of positivity around here...
  18. Not sure where this narrative that the Dolphins are great cause they were more competitive than people thought they'd be last year... They played better than absolute garbage. We expected them to struggle to win one game, they won like 4 or 5... I'm not sure it's proof that they're so well coached. Does anyone know if Jones spent much time covering Brown during the Cowgirls game last year? Brown was relatively held in check that game.
  19. My perspective on them has definitely changed. I was always in the "How do you have an elite RB, Elite WR, great OL, top 5-10 QB, and still can't put it together" camp for a long time... Now I just find myself wondering how much of the team as whole was screwed up cause of Brown and Bell's antics and overall lack of cohesion and I'm actually impressed they were as good as they were over the years with them.
