  1. Russel Brown, Cover1’s draft guy, comped Brown with Lee Evans so I’m all about that now. Bring him to me.
  2. I would buy that, but the second tweet emphasizing “LT” was clearly about driving interactions (and here we are). Buffalo Fanatics is kinda that way sometimes, though, so it’s not unexpected.
  3. Right, but to intentionally highlight the first-second round LT instead of the 3 other guard prospects is intentionally to make people comment and say “are the bills looking for a left tackle???!”
  4. Offering bills fans a free third round pick in the middle of draft season is peak trolling.
  5. Wait... is this a double fake where they then April fools this? Trust no one.
  6. It’s possible, but I haven’t seen anything about him playing G. And really, my issue isn’t if they are looking at him- it’s the stupid twitter account listing him as a probably reason they’re at ND while calling him a LT and ignoring all the other ND OL that make more sense for us. It’s just to get people to freak out and go “woah! Why are we scouting LT’s??!” When the twitter page has no idea what it’s talking about. But that’s pretty on brand for Buffalo Fanatics.
  7. I personally was surprised Kevin King didn’t sign with the Bucs this offseason as he’s already won a playoff game for them. Meh, I think Tryon is a better fit for our offense, but I like the speed of Ossai.
  8. You didn’t name drop... and you should. Who is it?? Ah, very cool. I always hated that he chased the money to Jax instead of staying in that amazing offense with Peyton. Hopefully it worked out for him in the end, but I knew at the time it would be a career killer.
  9. Not sure why they’re listing the 1-2 round player at a position we don’t need (LT) when they have 3 later round players at positions we do need (IOL)...
  10. His attacking style will do very well behind Aaron Donald.
  11. Leave it to a mod to derail the progress!
  12. With the 51st pick in the NFL draft, the Washington lying, stealing, cheating Politicians select Baron Browning, LB, Ohio St. University. How about a fast intense presence for Ron Rivera and Jack Del Rio to play with on defense? Browning runs like a safety and hits like an old school LB. He can do it all and will be a leader on our defense. Playing behind the best front 4 in the league will give him plenty of room to use his pursuit and destroy skills. The Fighting Andy Dalton's and @Just Joshin' are on the clock.
  13. kinda my take on it. I don’t know enough about it to make an opinion. I do know two things: Whoever it is, the media will fondle them endlessly and anoint them the best QB in the AFC East the first time they tie their cleats properly. They will more than likely flame out and never amount to anything.
  14. Yeah, he stands out as the one awful OL from that amazing Cincinnati OL factory..... in all seriousness, as a young player with starting experience and a good health record, it’s worth seeing if a change of scenery and coaching can help him become a solid backup.
  15. That’s fair enough, but an elite WR does a lot to help protect a QB as well. It’s a trade off either way.
  16. Mock drafts are fun for “would you rather” would you rather: Jamar Chase and Liam Eichenburg Or Penei Sewell and say Rondale Moore or Amon Ra St Brown? I actually think it turned out okay for him.
  17. Love it. It’s probably a luxury pick, but you don’t let that talent sit on the board at that late in the draft. Rotate him in with Klein/Taron as a rookie and make him a chess piece.
  18. The poll is close. What time are you making the call @Virgil
  19. It’s actually kinda eerie how similar this situation is... they drafted Thompson and he then split snaps with none other than AJ Klein as a rookie.... It’s just impossible to say what McBeane see’s as a need. It could be that they have Edge as a higher need than Big nickel (which seems likely) but that JOK is a guy that they see as the missing piece who would open things up for them.
  20. In Carolina, McD had Luke Keuchley and Thomas Davis coming off of monster 2014 seasons (Keuchly was an all-pro, Davis had a great season and was WPMOY). The Panthers selected S/LB hybrid Shaq Thompson with the 25th pick of the 2015 draft. Thompson played a hybrid safety LB/big nickel role for the Panthers, starting 14 games on their way to a 15-1 record and a SB appearance. Im not saying JOK would fill our biggest need, but I would say there’s a solid 60% chance we take him if he’s there at 30.
