  1. colts choked
  2. I was pumped about drafting Vick a few weeks ago (we had our draft before the 1st preseason game). Now I keep reading how he is struggling with the WCO and his performance last week was not comforting. Other QBs on roster are Delhome & Carr. Delhome had a good preaseason and plays on a good team. Carr had a decent preseason. I really want to start Vick because he is capable of great numbers (my league reward running yards & TDs more than passing yrds & TDs.) Im just afraid he could have one of those 80 yard passing days with no TDs , maybe a fumble. Vick is @ SF Delhome is home vs Green Bay monday night Carr is home vs SD Anyone been following the Falcons, Panthers or Texan camps?
  3. Steelers | Randle El No. 3 QB - from www.KFFL.com Tue, 7 Sep 2004 15:42:51 -0700 Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antwaan Randle El will serve as the Steelers' No. 3 quarterback, and the team will have a little quarterback package in the works for him, too. The team is entering the season with two quarterbacks on roster. who is the emergency #3 for the bills?
  4. GW was well prepared, interviewed well and was organized. I guess GW "just didn't execute"
  5. Here was a line from the story on Couch: not much more to say there -
  6. FWIW - here is one site's strenght of schedule, with Buffalo with 10th hardest. http://www.fanbay.net/nfl/projected/strength.htm Its a little different in that it is not based on last yeasr records, but rather this site's "powere ratings" of each teams opponents. While this is subjective, it may be more current that just using year old w-l records (they have Miami with #1 hardest - it just keeps looking worse for the fins)
  7. .. talking about the O line. I think we are going to get some refreshing honesty and interesting quotes in this years post game press conferences. as opposed to GW's "It was a good play - We just didnt execute"
  8. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/preview04/co...john&id=1871680 Pats have been the posterchild for this rule change (in fact, Im tired of hearing it). But interesting to see which teams were the worst offenders on a slow news night. It was very suprising that the Pats had only 5 illegal contacts calls against them all season given their style. Clearly the season was fixed.
  9. I saw Jim Kelly and Jack Kemp in the crowd
  10. I was there - I remember it being marginally bad weather (cold/some rain?) and sitting in the upper deck. Game was fun for first 10 minutes but hten the Bills were up 28-0 in first qtr if I remember right. Rest of the game was a sleeper (from the perspective of sitting in the upper deck) I remeber deon's antics on the TD return - the reaction of everyone around me was "what is he doing - doesnt he know its 28-0?" If it was a closer game we may have found it annoying, but here it was just comical. I remember the game because I went with 12 friends (some of them marginal football fans) and the game/weather was not ideal.
  11. forgot to log in - DB throws at least one td and no pics - no sacks - D allows no TDs in first half - one D turnover in first half - no injuries - WM doesnt score a 2 yard td (becasue if he does, it will be the only highlight we see for a week on ESPN)
  12. I missed the game - whay was spain so upset that Brown called a timeout with 23 seconds left - I dont get it- Is it just becasue they had the lead? http://cbs.sportsline.com/olympics/story/7616971
