looking at the players drafted by position, there are already 16 CBs off the board (MIA took 2). Supposed to be deep draft but thats a long list to draft behind. I guess we are hoping Leodis will be the man (at least for this year) CBs drafted in rounds 1-3: Dee Milliner CB Alabama 1 9(9) NY Jets DJ Hayden CB Houston 1 12(12) Oakland Desmond Trufant CB Washington 1 22(22) Atlanta Xavier Rhodes CB Florida State 1 25(25) Minnesota Darius Slay CB Mississippi State 2 4(36) Detroit Johnthan Banks CB Mississippi State 2 11(43) Tampa Bay David Amerson CB North Carolina State 2 19(51) Washington Jamar Taylor CB Boise State 2 22(54) Miami Robert Alford CB Southeastern Louisiana 2 28(60) Atlanta Dwayne Gratz CB Connecticut 3 2(64) Jacksonville Leon McFadden CB San Diego State 3 6(68) Cleveland Tyrann Mathieu CB LSU 3 7(69) Arizona Blidi Wreh-Wilson CB Connecticut 3 8(70) Tennessee Logan Ryan CB Rutgers 3 21(83) New England Kayvon Webster CB South Florida 3 28(90) Denver Will Davis CB Utah State 3 31(93) Miami

JAX down 3 offensive linemen today?
Charlie68 replied to Charlie68's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jacksonville came in without top backup Richard Collier on the offensive line after he was shot earlier this week. The Jaguars had three more linemen get hurt, and Maurice Williams and left guard Vince Manuwai did not return. That helped Tennessee limit the Jaguars to 187 yards offense, just 33 yards rushing by what was the NFL's second-best rushing team in 2007 http://www.jaguars.com/news/article.aspx?id=7211 -
I heard on NBC that 3 OL went out. I cant find any info so im not sure if players will be back next week. they gave up a bunch of sacks and had no running game today.

cant vouch for accuracy but this was on an eagles fan site Darwin Walker-Walker signed a 7 year, 11.25 million dollar extension during the 2002 season that included a 4 mil signing bonus prorated over 7 years. Dominic Williams (Davis) released....thoughts
Charlie68 replied to skoalfishing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Player News The Houston Texans waived running back Domanick Williams on Friday. Williams, formerly Domanick Davis, is Houston's career rushing leader with 3,195 yards. He spent all of last season on injured reserve with a knee injury. Williams sat out most of training camp last season with soreness in his right knee. He showed up in the Texans locker room on Jan. 1, saying he had legally changed his last name from Davis to Williams, his mother's maiden name. He missed five games in 2005 before undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery. He returned for training camp and declared himself healthy, but soon stopped practicing because of a bone bruise in the knee. (Updated 03/23/2007). Injury Report No information available at this time (Updated 3/24/07). Fantasy Analysis Three years ago, Williams was considered one of the biggest and brightest young stars in all of Fantasy Football. Unless he lands with another team and makes what would be considered an improbable comeback, he shouldn't be considered in any format of Fantasy Football. (Updated 03/23/2007). -
More Cowboys fans than Buffalo fans in Albany NY? he cant be serious. i cant remember the last time time i ran into a cowboy fan here. this is gints country, with bills and pats and jets condsidered secondary local teams/markets. dallas? no. only thing that makes some sense is that dallas is in giants division, but that should not trump a bills/pats/jets game

I cant seem to find the post game interviews and press conf on bb.com - link? last year they had audio up quickly after the game

if this isnt a joke, then these three are in a complete fantasy land. Completely absurd. what exactly qualifies them? because they are just like daniel snyder?(if we ignore the fact that snyder is worth over $700 mil, but I guess this is just a minor detail) I like the concept but you need to bring more to the table than just creating a website. This has to be a joke.

looks like these above are really the 2005 #s http://www.theredzone.org/2005/freeagents/2005tags.asp unless all numers are exactly the same this yr. Im not sure 2006 #s are out yet

uh? not possible - the game was not broadcast in HD
-
fox and abc are progressive (better for fast moving sports), cbs interlaced I find fox & abc better than cbs - nothing to do with hookup
-
CBS has been slow solving its HD capacity problem - 3 games a week from CBS is just not enough

Bills to work out Quentin Griffin
Charlie68 replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the bills work out players all the time - I dont think it means anything. it just may be one for the file - Im sure TD would say 'any time we have a chance to look at a player & possibly improve our team blah blah I think workouts happen all the time, they just arent always in the news -
back to back losses to uconn & rutgers - long way to fall for a former top 10 team maybe if they keep losing they can improve their draft position & pick up a good player for next year

found this on another site - interesting! audio link http://www.nic.fi/~porola/lost/walt.wav

Anyone notice a difference between the games...
Charlie68 replied to TheMadCap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fox is 720P progressive is better for sports -
I was happy to see the Bills are finally in HD this week, but .. I think the game is on local fox 23, which I believe means that Direct TV will black out on the 700+ channels. And the local fox is not broadcasting HD OTA yet so I'm stuck with the standard version I also get the NYC Fox HD feed from DTV, but they are not showing the bills (Dallas instead) All these braodcast rules are frustrating - I get this HD superfan and I still cant see the BIlls game someone please tell me Im wrong somewhere here

I had the vikes - our pool lost 60% of 90 people the first week but my wife still in

What Bills Games will be in HD?
Charlie68 replied to JimBob2232's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the fox games will be in HD, so thats two games, at minimum. I would also expect that the Saturday games would be HD CBS is only doing 3 HD games a week, so the Bills will likely be in HD only if they become on of the top games each week in expected ratings. Fot the first 4 weeks of the season, CBS has annouced the HD games. the Bills have 3 CBS games in those weeks and none are in HD. The only liklihood in the first 4 weeks is the Atlanta game on Fox. here is CBS link for HD 1st 4 weeks http://www.sportsline.com/cbssports/schedules/page/nfl -
