Is Jason Garrett coaching for his job Thursday?
RochesterRob replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd take anything over Jones. I'd take Georgia Frontierre done up in one of her Tammy Fay Baker outfits over Jones. -

That touched off a few heated arguments with my one uncle many years ago. He was never into the traditional Thanksgiving meal at all. -

Your alter ego brought it up. Not me. -
Nah. They use words like gal and filly to describe women. Just saying that they are not a bad way to go unless you have to have lawyers or executives to cohabitate with. Marisa can change my oil anytime.

Knox was the only one to embrace a "boys will be boys" attitude with the players in general so little wonder that the players adored him. Imagine Smerlas with Bill Parcells which could have very well happened given the time frame. Would have won a SB with the Giants but probably would have whined about Parcells being a disciplinarian. -

Whoa!!!! Looks like somebody got an E-mail saying can the indifferent act! That Hillary will be talked about with respect! Looks like your choke collar will be held tight now to remind you who is master! Rollover, you dog!!!!!!!!! -
I'm not on the look out for a woman but if I were there are some attractive women working at auto parts stores. They drive full sized extended cab pickups and no doubt know how to tail gate. They are probably pretty good with a chamois cloth as well and would fight you to cut the lawn with your new John Deere mower.

For those who care which version and why. I'll take the 1976 version because of its general shlockyness and because it is a who's who of small screen action actors mixed in with a few big names. Has "look real close or you'll miss it" moments such as Gary Busey in a PBY (plane). Henry Fonda >>>>>>>>>>Woody Harrelson as Adm Nimitz. CGI should normally have it over 1960's-1970's special effects but the models obviously moving in an olympic size swimming pool are better in my mind but not by much.

Go on the record: The concern-o-meter!

"I want that 4th carrier" is my mentality whether we achieve it or not. Quote of Adm Nimitz from the 1976 movie Midway by the way. -

Harvey Johnson did not want the job but took it after Ralph begged him to do so. IIRC Ralph fired him at the end of the stint. -
Bills @ Cowboys, Thanksgiving Day - 4:30

Should have happened years ago. Ever notice how much Garrett resembles Jones? What's up with that? -

Between 3 to 5. Dallas has a very good OL and RB. NE being NE. Poor recent History with the Steelers. I think our last win against them was in 1992. Refs. I would like to see a several game trend with the recent improvements. Consistent 350 plus yards of offensive production. 21 or more points consistently scored. -
The NFL does not care if a billion people watch that game and complain about homer calls. The NFL sees itself as a guardian of teams such as the Cowboys and does not care about the Bills. The only way I see where the NFL would not put its finger on the scale in favor of Dallas is if they had the division all wrapped up but they don't with the Eagles only a game behind with 5 left to play. Honestly, I have similar concerns about us with the Steelers with the game being played in Pittsburgh. I hope that McDermott can get our guys amped to out physical the Cowboys as it will be necessary. If we can get our 2 games before the Patriots game I will be less upset if we drop games to them and the Jets.

Does a Man of God Like Trump Attend Church?
RochesterRob replied to Warren Zevon's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You know that you want to. I did not see you at church yesterday as the building did not catch fire. -
Seriously, I expect around 8-10 penalties called against us costing us 100 yards or so. At least one offensive holding call on a 3rd down conversion to put us at 3rd and long. One defensive pass interference call to give the Cowboys a key 3rd down conversion. I hope that I am wrong but this is what I fear.

I discuss the topics at great length and you would see that if you took your blinders off. I have other things going on in life being a middle aged working person so it is not always possible to be up to the minute such as last week with the "hearings." By the way I contribute on the other major boards here such as TSW. How about you? Did you enjoy the win yesterday or are you unaware that this is a board for a NFL team?

You don't spend that much per month on hygiene such as toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc. so 10 bucks per month on NPR is truly a bridge too far for you.
-
Wouldn't you be a whole lot happier calling into NPR where like minded seals will clap to all your nonsense?

Trump's leadership team

A days long barrage by Tiberius, Gary, Bob, etc. tells me that the Dems are very nervous about their future fortunes in the near term. -
Everybody else beat me to it but Phillips' tenure was rather short so there is that.
