I've always had a no ride policy if I thought the road conditions were poor. I've have been lucky that I have always had that choice. Now, there have been times when I was driving myself versus catching a ride when the weather was poor. One time while I was at Cornell there was a guy who needed a ride to the bus station down on Meadow St while there was a major snow event going on. I did not want to go downtown because there is a serious drop in grade from the Cornell campus to downtown and I did not want to fight my way back up. In the end I bought into his tale of woe and took him to the bus station. All the way down Route 13 to downtown and then to a grocery store (which had been my plan originally but one much closer to campus) and then back up the hill to campus in a rear wheel drive Chevy fishtailing all the way back. Screwed up my whole day as I wanted to spend a fair amount of the afternoon at one of the campus libraries but wound up having to use part of my Sunday for classwork when I had earmarked it for other things.

I really do not get the posturing. We are all Bills fans that need each other. That aside there are those who would argue that the only true WNY'rs are those that still have a 716 area code phone number. So we both lost by that definition. Anyways, as a person who has been ALL around the region it's ALL good. Wouldn't want to be any place else.

Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread

I've seen it both ways although strictly as a guess that the women affiliated with Bloomberg probably are not suppose to mention that they have any agreement whatsoever. A good friend of mine had one with one employer but that was to protect trade secrets. -
Oh, Cluck Clodd (spoken in a voice of shame).

Don't worry. Tiberius will be here tomorrow morning proclaiming that he is not Putin's b-i-t-c-h even though we all know better.

To paraphrase an old Cold War axiom "conquer them by their own methods." This means it is OK for Bernie to have three properties. For me it was hilarious that Russia was the boogey man for the left from 2016-2020 given all the tripe I heard during my college years about the Soviets had the right system but the wrong leaders (meaning the young minds on campus digesting the communist mush would be the correct leaders upon receiving their diplomas). Is it a certainty that Sanders is the commie trojan horse? No, but if Las Vegas were to assigned a probability that would fall closer to 100 percent probable versus zero. -

I really did not feel that there was a clear winner. Warren got the most speaking time and was the most animated for the most part but in my mind she really has not built upon her previous positions. Anyways, I thought that each one looked good for perhaps a 20 second stretch but that is not enough for me. -
One more note for NBC News and other media outlets. Do not pan in much on Warren's face from the side as it is pretty obvious she has the ears of a Ferengi.
-
Forgot to mention that describing FORMER VP Biden as VP Biden along with FOMER Mayor Bloomberg as Mayor Bloomberg is not going to make either more appealing just in case somebody from NBC News is reading this.
-
Bloomberg could make it a real fight if he would accept some coaching.

Soros allows for time off during "business" hours? Lucky you. Colon scoping?

Sounds like VS was past its marketing peak. A far cry from the day a few decades ago when girls lugged their Frederick's catalogs to college so their mothers would not find them and get a lecture about appropriate dressing. Yes, I meant Frederick's as opposed to VS as Frederick's was the big name in that business until the mid-1990's.

Warren giving signs that she is getting ready to scuttle her ship and board the USSR Sanders.
-
Is it just me or do the podiums look a little on the short side based on the preview from NBC News? Trying to make Bloomberg's "deficiency" less obvious.

Tiberius can now afford heat along with steak and potatoes. -
This may sound like I am going against the current grain here but I just don't see the point of huge cash awards as a way to solve a problem. It would be better to get any organization to change their ways. Reform any organization back to its ideal state where it did many millions of people a lot of good.

He will get your vote and if he were to be elected upon his last day in office supporting yourself will still amount to working in the laundromat (wear clean clothes!), being a paid online troll, and picking up cans. Your schtick was better when you were pitching Warren by the way. -

You obviously have not heard him speak in just the past few days. He has put out gems such as minorities do not know how to act in a business environment, any dummy can be a farmer, and old or terminal people can wonder off into the woods to die (he will see that they will get a pill to remain comfortable while the death process is going on). What else is waiting to drop from his mouth? Talk about being insensitive. -

Except for Biden. He will be angling for the best recliner in the television room at Springfield Retirement Castle. -
No wonder everyone on this board is nuts

Transferring a human's consciousness has been around in SF for generations. Just one more thing that humanity does not need as the -a-holes will be first in line as they think that their thoughts are so valuable to society.
