  1. No one is excited to vote FOR Biden? Your overlords at the Soros Institute are going to love you for that statement.
  2. You are kidding yourself. We are all seeing the same thing which is a bunch of paid protestors out and about. When the locals are burning buildings to the ground in East Amherst and tipping cop cars over in Pittsford then maybe you can make the claim that your base is fired up.
  3. FIFY. Democrats in 2012 figured Obama's second term was in the bag. With all the flailing around by the Democrats Republicans will feel that they need to flock to the polls in mass to assure a Trump victory. I know that I feel that way.
  4. So, are you here because of a paycheck or are you here pro bono?
  5. Now you are just flinging manure. Take it to the corn field where it might do some good. Anyways, it is easy to see that Biden's health is plummeting. Most people that decline so rapidly are not long lived.
  6. Biden might be dead before then. Biden is finished if he is not allowed an ear piece that allows him to get material spoon fed to him. Trump will insist no ear pieces be worn by Biden. If Biden has hearing issues then the questions can be printed on cards to minimize cheating.
  7. You can keep pitching that manure but nobody here is buying it. Time to load it it on the spreader and head for the field where it might do some good.
  8. If it was upon the advice of my lawyers concerning a person engaged in the legal system who could sue for defamation because no guilty verdict has been delivered then yes. The lambasting can wait until the guilty verdict is read. You know this so stop being intellectually dishonest.
  9. Your first paragraph was pure gibberish. Are you cracking under the pressure of pushing dementia Joe across the finish line? As far as Maxwell goes he is saying what most people would say when someone is undergoing the legal process and the verdict is not in. Let Maxwell be declared guilty by the court then the lambasting of Maxwell can begin without threat of a libel suit.
  10. More likely that Tiberius' masters at the Soros Institute got some bad internal polling information about Biden. That the public numbers about Biden being double digits ahead of Trump don't even play in the nut house.
  11. Somebody in Acosta's immediate environment politically most likely had Acosta place his finger on the scale in favor of Epstein. Then there is always the possibility like DWI a couple generations ago that the whole matter was treated very lightly because "we don't want ruin somebody's life over a "trivial" matter."
  12. I nominate your post for most idiotic of the year. Why would Acosta wait on a promise that most likely would not have ever happened when your supposed deal would have been struck? How would Trump promise a cabinet position that he was in no position to offer at the time. If a deal were struck back at that time would not Acosta seek something he could realistically get from Trump such as money? Do you barter for nonexistent compensation at the time you are suppose to perform your part of the deal. Do you do a full day's work on some guy's plumbing to use a cottage on a lake that the home owner in question does not have nor will likely ever have?
  13. Not just food production and service. Briggs and Stratton which is the largest small engine manufacturer in the US has declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week.
  14. I would imagine that there was a RR running from Harrisburg to near Williamsport. Lumber was a major economic property and there were railroads running out of the Wellsville area east to Corning which is not far from Williamsport. RR from Wellsville to Rochester I don't think happened until oil was struck in Wellsville just before the Civil War. Can't canoe the full length of the Genesee River due to shallow areas and falls at Letchworth and Rochester. The Genesee outlets into Lake Ontario. I should note that those were the conditions in the time of Douglass and now there is the Mount Morris Dam to contend with. Canoeing does take place in Letchworth Park and just south of downtown Rochester.
  15. I'd have to ask about any Rochester, NY marker. I am aware of the one down in Lancaster County PA. The Genesee River begins near Gold, PA which is a dozen or so miles south of Wellsville, NY. Gold, PA is noted as a triple divide as it sources water for the Susquehanna River, Genesee River, and Allegheny River systems. Not well read on Parker but it sounds like his escape route was along the Susquehanna River then followed the Genesee River to Rochester, NY.
  16. The denial is strong with you.
  17. Like in 1996 when a victim went to the FBI and nothing happened? Who was POTUS at that time? What about the Uyghur's? What about devoting your time to something that perhaps you could make the uninformed public aware of? We can already see by this board that both liberals and conservatives agree about their plight. You love copy and paste so lift a finger to help the Uyghur's out.
  18. Yeah, Vietnam "beat" three world powers but there should be an asterisk after the effort against the French and the US. The French were depleted after WWII and efforts such as DeGaulle meeting Eisenhower bore no fruit in terms of retaining "French Indo-China" as it was known back then. It has been long rumored that the US went into Vietnam in part to pacify the French because the French believed that they could still run Vietnam as a protectorate of France once the conflict was over. At the heart of pacifying the French was to have a reliable continental partner in the French in terms of the Cold War so the US would have a place for troops and arms to go to if W Germany got too unstable. France during the early 1960's was already enduring a sharp turn to the left politically and an action in Vietnam might have the long term effect of stemming communism in France. Simply, the US never really played to "win" in Vietnam. They should have gone all out which would have meant a broader conflict which would be bad or simply never went. But then again you have the issue of keeping France as a reliable Cold War partner.
  19. Japan was already preparing to grab other resources in Asia before our embargoes. SE Asia was important for food (rice), rubber, and aluminum before we pressured Japan to look for oil in Indonesia, etc. because of the embargo.
  20. Interesting thought on Vietnam but I would expect the armament to be on the small side. Shore defense and so forth. Something that has only recently become possible with our government with the Vietnam War era politicians and DoD personnel pretty well gone. If we are going large then I expect that we will do it with Japan assuming that they are willing.
  21. Yes, the Himalaya chain has always been a very effective barrier to the Middle East and keeping a broad conflict from breaking out with India. If things were different a much different history would have been seen the last 150 years even if there were 500 miles of desert separating China from it neighbors to the West. Not sure on the late 1930's Japan analogy. Any trade restrictions would have minimal impact on key Chinese points of interest such as the military and the ruling class. An US oil embargo hit the Japanese military extremely hard immediately in particular the IJN. Also, the average citizen in Japan back then held a higher value to the government versus China seeing 100's of millions of peasants as more of a problem than a resource to be tapped.
  22. A fair amount of high cloud cover so much more difficult to see tonight. Monday night sounds like the next opportunity for a good view.
  23. Prompt thank you cards seem to be less of a priority with the under age 40 group.
  24. When one is accustomed to using brute force to solve problems I don't know how you get them to readily transition to another form of dealing with a problem. What do you propose to make it more favorable for China to change policy? Many lines of thought there have been in practice for many centuries. Seems like you might be seeing the problem in China through Western lenses.
