The Democrats will not be any more motivated than they are any other time. The problem is that DNC accidentally sent the details on Operation Gaslight to all members nullifying the desired effect of wide spread hysteria. I expect Trump fatigue come Election Day meaning that many Dems will sit at home knowing Joe is not going to win. Weeks to count plus a Dem apparent victory equals widespread doubt in the "results." Why so angry? God did not make your richard so small and limit your intellect. Bad genetics and a underperforming school district are to blame.

Again, I would ask why 60 days before the election? If Biden were the one facing the accusation would you be so quick to believe? Powerful men are never shaken down for personal and inaccurate reasons? Discuss! The possibilities are endless and I will leave it at that.

Why wait until less than 60 days before the election? If some woman surfaced with allegations against Biden would you give her the same credence?

Actually, he trots out the word hoax. I wonder what he considers UFO's and Big Foot to be? -
First teacher who became political in class?
RochesterRob replied to Golden Goat's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
To give some context we are talking a few decades ago. No off topic discussion of politics during social studies class whatsoever. No general mention of current politics regardless of class at all K-12. I was too young when Watergate was happening so I don't know if anything was mentioned to high school students at that time. I did suspect a couple of teachers being liberal even as a young kid given clothing choices, hairstyles, and/or expressions used. Freshmen year of college was not too bad. A micro-economics instructor gauged the class in terms if you liked the early years of MASH (television program) or the later years (God help you). A literature instructor was heavily into counter-culture movies such as Easy Rider. A few anti-Reagan instructors. Cornell. The business-ag school was fairly politics free but I would guess that my curriculum adviser was a Republican as he brought in people such as WNY's Barber Conable to speak. TA's such those for World Geography (for food distribution) were liberal. Had a JFK administration bureaucrat for one marketing class and I would guess that he was a Democrat but conservative. He gave interesting insights as to the reach of the US government including the CIA back then through the world in terms of measuring natural resources of the Soviet Union and China and how the US could exploit that. Electives outside of my normal surrounding were heavily liberal. If you were lucky you got warned by someone not to wear baseball caps that said Mack Trucks or tee shirts that said Chevy on them as they were considered signs of American imperialism. My uncle gave me a John Deere cap just as a screw them gesture. -
Maybe Bob has gone cold turkey for some reason unknown to us. Cold turkey can make some people pretty cranky.

You make light of a rake but I would imagine the grounds just outside of your apartment building probably could stand some TLC. While you are at it maybe see what condition the snow shovel is in. Heaven forbid that you have to shovel to perform a civil duty such as voting but think of the poor children (and more to the point their parents) who need to go to the cannabis shop.

Right side of OL week two

The Jets DL is one of the better parts of that team even with all that has regressed recently with them. -
Don't worry. Biden will probably have a battery powered ear piece ala miracle ear so he can have stuff piped directly to him. It will have saved him from reading cue cards barely within his range of sight. You raised a frightening thought. Considering how unhinged some are in the Democrat Party would they consider a false flag assassination of Biden for further political mileage?

Probably considered the topic covered in a TSW game day thread. I'm not a computer programmer but my understanding is that the more the number of threads going at any one time the slower the processing of posts. Let's keep this site flowing as well as can be hoped for.

You should really be covering these paranoid fantasies with your shrink. You are paying for a full hour so might as well get some bang for your buck.

Until the Democrat's well was near dry Sanders was some obscure politician noted for honeymooning in the former USSR.

Trying to think of a good classic liberal here and am struggling a bit to name one. Not trying to be a smart aleck. Does anybody here listen to classical music? Most of my liberal housemates at Cornell years ago listened to classical music. Anybody here have 50 plus credit hours in government studies and if so where at? Your position on the American Space Program both past and present? Do you like or hate (former) Senator William Proxmire? What decade in your mind did the US achieve cultural (read musical) perfection? Your position on foreign aid? Jimmy Carter : great or not? Just some of the many questions I would have handy at the interview for the position of liberal gate keeper here.

West Coast Under Fire
RochesterRob replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
A better title to this would be West Coast facing threat from forrest fires. Anyways, hopefully no injury or loss of life comes out of this situation. Property damage will unfortunately result. I have a cousin who lives near Sacramento and I will most likely call my aunt to see how he is fairing. My personal opinion is the region is too vulnerable to problems such as that making living there difficult. Perhaps, when you look at statistics which suggest a certain percentage is attributed to carelessness by human beings that each person spawned fire is devastating never mind the outcome of a multiple of fires. I don't like to tell others their business when it comes to where they live but I don't think it is wise to have a high density of people living there.
