This is not directed at any one poster. If things happened as she said (multiple rapes occurring over a lengthy time interval) and she did nothing would she not be subject to any state laws regarding being an accessory to the commission of a crime? If Joe Dirt was sitting in the DA's office and made an admission to that extent he would have charges made against him before he returned to his cell. By the way when is it OK to consider somebody guilty of rape such as some are doing with Kavanaugh but Dick Dirt needs to have semen samples, blood and tissue samples, corresponding nail-skin bruises as evidence to even bring charges to against him. I already know the answer but just wondering what others thought.

No team has 5 All Pro's on their OL so if we can find a quality center and RT the rest of the problems may be maskable. 4 or 5 quality replacements of the starting 11 on offense will yield big improvement.

All we can do is wait on Josh and see how fast he grows. If he learns from the Packer's game then there is hope. It is inevitable that he will have rough patches and this past Sunday's game will not be the last for the season. Almost certain that we will be under .500 at the mid-point of the season unless other parts of the offense have an epiphany.

So what is the bigger need O-line or WR
RochesterRob replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need to draft a center early in the draft. -
How many players on offense come back next year
RochesterRob replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like it or not probably 50 percent of the offense will be back next year as there will not be that much talent on the FA market to expect 80 percent plus turnover. Also, it is unrealistic to expect more than our top 2 draft picks to start opening day 2019. We are heading the right direction long term but this year is going to be painful no matter how you look at it. -
If it were only as easy as devising a plan then all teams would be contenders. The problem is that a majority of the time a prospect does not live up to expectations. It's easy to say that a team will draft a QB in the 3rd and he will be ready when you want to trade your starter but it seldom happens that way. The owners did it to themselves by offering outrageous contracts to lure or keep key players. Now they have to deal with certain positions being top heavy in salary. By the way you need to have players around that are productive over multiple years. If you are lucky you get 3 long term answers per draft and most contracts are up within 5 years. So you have to break the cycle of turning players over before you establish a nucleus. This is done in part with good scouting ahead of the draft and renewing positions that are not cap breakers in terms of salary. Even that is easier said than done but you have to start there before you can do the specific if/ then's like you are talking with the QB position.

Move Goff THEN draft his replacement? I don't want to overstate team morale/chemistry but that will have the rest of the roster scratching their heads at the least. Most teams like the idea of late round gems but it is easier said than done. Otherwise trade ups in the draft would be pretty rare occurrences.

The most intense offer was by a very attractive educated female classmate and the picture sent was very interesting.

Education is relative. A person can go to Cornell for any number of ag degrees or a person can go to a community college for a business degree. Many Cornell ag degrees have a heavy emphasis on business and economics. I've taken intro macro economics in both settings and there is far more material in the Cornell class than the MCC class. The Cornell ag school is a back door for quite a few wishing to take business courses at state college prices versus going the endowed avenue. Anyhow, my degree in business/ economics may make me appear less educated to some than somebody who may take engineering or computer science. Just looking back at my high school graduating class just as many "educated" women came directly or indirectly seeking me out as there were women with just high school diploma's or one year trade schools over the past few decades. In general the "educated" were more bold even if they were just getting an impression of the at the time current me. Yep, I wasted a couple of college semesters attempting to land a woman that was outside of my background. Did not have much of a chance but I was enthralled by the "dish I never had before" aspect.

If I had to guess the ancients including the contributors to the Bible knew that open infidelity often would lead to murder among other problems. Society would be far more chaotic if cheating was very open and wide spread.

I agree with your last sentence. I am not sure how many guys go seeking it out but unless you live like a hermit it seems opportunity is there at a minimum of once per month. I've always turned it down since being married but get the shakes while going through the offer and for a few hour afterward. College educated women fall into a few different categories when it comes to fidelity. I've known women who have put up with cheaters but take the stance that I have come this far and worked hard for my profession so I will maintain appearances to my peers. Some take the view that an open marriage where both partners have outside relationships is part of a modern enlightened marriage. Then there are those who are firmly attached to traditional social structures. It may surprise the authors of the article in that many non-college educated women do not mate like animals and firmly believe in a committed relationship.

Penn State: Visiting advice for this weekend
RochesterRob replied to SDS's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Kind of late to the discussion. Just curious as to the "mark up" being that your son is out of state in this instance. I was accepted at Ohio State many years ago and liked the program but the out of state tuition fee was a deal breaker. Especially, without a scholarship in hand. Ultimately, I stayed in NY including two years at Cornell. -
I support the notion that activities lessen the likelihood of cheating but loneliness being a source of the desire to cheat is hit or miss depending on the man. Any impulses I might have to cheat are not due to me being lonely. Me having any kind of productive day due to work or hobby far lessens the sexual desire that may be pointed at women other than my wife.

Coveting is typically a religious notion and a notion that Catholics employ though not limited to Catholics. I think that most men's brains are more primal than that. Anyhow, if looking through a religious filter that the concepts of temptation and of forgiveness also are part of the cycle. Hopefully. If the notion of thinking it is just as bad as doing it is the ultimate filter then most guys including myself are in trouble.

I could think of dozens of reasons of why men cheat although I have never cheated on my wife. I question that college educated women stray less. I think that on average women are more aggressive than they were a couple generations ago. I have had women burn a hole through me at even a church when I am there with my wife. I have had women just ignore when I bring up that I have a wife when at a store. Quite often these are women who keep trim athletic bodies and dress to flaunt what they have.

Bill Cosby sentenced to 3 to 10 years
RochesterRob replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I never said that he was unfairly persecuted or wrongfully accused. I am saying he would have been protected had he not gone up against the Hollywood establishment. The cracks in the armor started showing up not too long after Cosby's statement about young black men perhaps not living up to the highest moral and ethical codes when he mentioned the incident of being killed over a pair of athletic shoes. -

I have a similar feeling in that Hollywood would have kept finding people to run interference for BC if he had towed the liberal line. These women would have been denounced as trailer trash looking for 15 minutes of fame and a little cash if possible. It just seems so improbable that so many victims would have kept silent for so long unless they were threatened in some manner. The same cons who prey on those much weaker than they are outside the prison walls. But in the end Cosby probably has enough free assets that he can pay for protection while on the inside. -
Call it homerism...but we WILL beat the Packers
RochesterRob replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have 5,000 Quatloo's on the Packers. -
Decisions, decisions. I want the Pats only to win enough to keep them out of the top 8-10 of next years draft so there is that. Don't want that Frankenstein's Monster rising up out of the rubble anytime soon.

As said by others our dire WR situation pushed Foster onto the roster when normally he would have gone to the PS.

Are We The Worst Bills Fans Since The Polian Years?
RochesterRob replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, negativity is more visible due to the internet whereas the most negative fan two generations ago was only heard in his neighborhood. -
Is Binghamton Bills country?
RochesterRob replied to greenyellowred's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd say that at least 60 percent of the Syracuse area NFL fans have their allegiance with the Bills. -

When the Pats start losing again those Albany Pats fans will be no place to be found. -
Is Binghamton Bills country?
RochesterRob replied to greenyellowred's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills have a number of fans outside the traditional boundaries of WNY which is a major reason why the NFL signed off on approving the Pegula's as the Bills' owners. The NFL is also trusting that the Pegula's will go the next step in marketing from what Ralph did which is to draw big spending fans from further away. No way would the NFL approve an owner that only intended to market the Bills to the extreme west end of New York State and no further. -

RochesterRob replied to greenyellowred's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, but more than just a couple like there would be for SF and SD. It's Giants territory with the Bills and Jets running even seconds. And like anyplace else you are going to have GB, Steelers, and the hot team (NE) fans. The hot team fans in those towns are dirt cheap so they use their old SF and Cowpie jerseys to dust the house with along with wiping down the dog after the dog's bath. In a few years the Brady number 12's will line the bottom of the doghouse.
