There is no way we will beat the Jaguars
RochesterRob replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lackluster offense led by Roethlisberger made this a much closer game than it should have been. Anyways, the Steelers pull another rabbit out of their hat. The Jags properly demoralized coming into Orchard Park. -
Chipotle manager fired for SJW’s
RochesterRob replied to Teddy KGB's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It won't play. Sum it up for me. Manager asks POC for payment before serving meal and exchange of words ensues with POC going above manager getting said manager fired? -
How about Jonah Williams at LG?

If we get proficient on drafting prospects regardless of position then some vets on one year deals is not a bad thing. -
I bet we draft one high and maybe one in the mid-rounds next year.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - What Is It With This Team?
RochesterRob replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched the entire game and I would say it was 70 percent Bills effort and 30 percent Jets indifference. On passing plays quite a bit of the time Barkely looked rushed. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - What Is It With This Team?
RochesterRob replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For the people saying "It's just the Jets" our players still had to go out and make plays which was not being done on offense for the most part prior to this past Sunday. This past Sunday we had guys who were following assignments on the OL, RB's seeing the field, and WR's who caught the ball. We could have just as easily had OL lose their one on one battles, RB's stopped in the backfield, and WR's run incorrect patterns and have passes clang off their hands. Our offense earned all its production last Sunday. At least from where I sit and the guys who slacked will gone sooner or later. -

Tawny Kitaen was the girlfriend. She who appeared in a few videos and played a vapid girlfriend on a Seinfeld episode. -
Is our offensive roster good now?
RochesterRob replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bodine is better but we need somebody who will be dominant. Probably just as well we don't see a RB for RD 1 or 2 for next year so as to concentrate on other positions. Hopefully, McCoy has another year in him so some RB can slowly work in next year. -

WR, Center, RT, replacement for McCoy, TE. Plenty of places to upgrade. Interested to see who they bring in to fill the two open roster spots at present. -
I guess we will see how Beane is at drafting late round gems to keep the cost of the DL reasonable.

How Would You Handle Our Current Season?
RochesterRob replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like who and at what expense? People talk Bridgewater but there were concerns whether he was fully healed during the offseason. -

Let's be honest. Moore knows he can make far more being a NFL QB than a Walmart manager or if he has a legit degree a bottom level white collar professional. Yet, he is still at home and anything I have heard about him that he was approached by other teams. If he was really interested he would have put a price out and likely it would have become known that the reason he did not sign was a difference in money. No reports out there concerning Moore and money. -

How do you sign Moore when by any reports made known that he was done with the NFL? -

This thread will be entertaining. No doubt many here think they can lord over the NFL like a Walmart manager lords over a bunch of floor sweeping and shelf stocking flunkies. -
Week 10 Hindsight: Was the AJ McCarron Trade a Good One?
RochesterRob replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People here are forgetting a lot of things in their quest to show they are the smartest people in the room. Bridgewater sat unsigned for a while because teams were unsure if he was fully recovered from his injuries and he has not played a string of games to show he can take being pounded on week after week. The Bills were kind of in flip a coin mode for the QB's that were out there and what was known about each one. -
Pegula has to be aware of the hopeless cycle of the last 15 plus years here of turning over the HC and/or GM. I would think barring collapse he will avoid doing that. Pegula had to take last Sunday's performance especially by the defense as McD has not lost the team. Can't be terrible/awful to stick with a coach within reason ala the Bengals. I have not heard of a spike in suicides amongst Bengals fans in Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio.

Interested in knowing how the Bills will fill the roster spot. Best of luck to Peterman but being a NFL QB was just not in the cards.

Who is to say when a team will find its footing? I am old enough to remember way back prior to the start of the 1987 season when Bruce Smith was considered a waste of a number 1 overall pick, why the heck would you pick a receiver from Kutztown State (Andre Reed), and Talley had been there a few years and had shown nothing (according to the fans). Back to Smith there was lots of moaning in that the Bills did not take DT Ray Childress instead of Smith number 1.

I did not know that Marino and Offerdahl were suiting up for the Dolphins.

The next four...Jags (H), Fish (A), Jets (H), Lions (H)
RochesterRob replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why? Yesterday showed that a pedestrian effort at QB will win a game given our defense. Not every game will go so smoothly for a QB and the ground game most likely will not rack up the yards like they did yesterday but we could still win games on average by 7-10 points or more. -
We would get to 8-8 or 9-7 because we would not be as bad as we thought we were. No guarantees of a high pick hitting.

Can We Finally Give McBeane The Benefit of the Doubt?
RochesterRob replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Reality is expecting to fire management less than two years into a regime? There were people wanting both McD and Beane gone after the brutal three game stretch last year. -

Some people enjoy feeding off of negativity.
