Could have tried out for Cornell while at college. Didn't because in part playing college ball w/o a realistic endgame was a dead end. A guy I knew that was on the team for a while said all the players who were there had a place to go that did not depend on graduating or playing ball. In turn this meant they partied a fair amount. Also, the Ivy League had a reputation for dirty players so a player took a lot more beating.

NFL TV Schedule and Maps: Week 5, 2019

It may have something to do with the time zone. Also, don't know if doubleheaders for FOX come into play. Wyoming may not have been eligible for an early CBS game. Anyways, more to do with the network than the affiliate. -
Clinton Political Dynasty

Donors yes. Super delegates no. I still believe that the Clinton's run the DNC from the shadows. The Clinton's do not have a way to badger donors into making contributions hence Hillary's actions the past few months. She has to act like she has a score to settle to entice donors. It angers her to know that she has the puppet strings of the media but still has to ride the plane to parts despised in middle America to get the votes necessary. -
There is a reason that every last person here has time to vent on this board and that is none of us despite our raw emotionalism has what it takes to be a coach or player in the NFL. Allen was perhaps a little too wired for this game but he will learn not to get too emotional. Most people prior to kickoff were anticipating a loss because there remains quite a bit of work to be done in completing this team in terms of on field performance and this is what we saw this afternoon. Hurts more because we were very close to exceeding expectations but we are not hopelessly lost in the forest as some think we are. The Titans are a beatable team so let both fans and team be looking forward and not focused back on a loss that really does not impact the season. Twelve games remain and lets get as many W's as possible.

I've spent the last 6 days fighting kidney stones

Same for me. I went into the ER restroom and peed it out and almost instantly I was feeling fine other than a little fatigue. Very difficult to see with the naked eye and the inexperienced nurse had wondered if I had caught it with the screen until reminded of that possibility. -
I get aging but my taste buds don't lie. About once every two months I have to take a package of Wegman's ground beef back before the expiration date because the meat had become inedible. Some packages of meat can get through the weekly cycle and taste fine all the way through. This tells me that there is a quality and therefore freshness issue. Good beef can be 3-4 weeks old before it hits my table but who truthfully knows how old the stuff is that I buy on a given Friday. Just this morning at Wegman's no large lean ground beef out so I ask the meat guy about it. Did not make the normal truck and he could grind some stuff up that had already been in the store a few days. I want the stuff just off the truck there and not something that has already been there a few days and most likely mixed in with some older stuff already going gray. Too bad the Mennonites are not on my normal Friday run as there is night and day difference in product. Headed down into Mennonite territory tomorrow so maybe I will stop at a meat shop they run.

I guess that the tens of millions of condemnation letters should not have come into play? Denial is strong with that one. -
You do realize that if Trump were driven from office that Pence would assume the Presidency? So very very improbable that we will see a Dem before 2021 and still very improbable that Trump will be driven out or not be able to run for office in 2020. Your "party" will soon learn the hard way that this is not the 1970's and that people will not be fixated for years over impeachment and Trump. So by October of 2020 most Dems will realize that once again they are the party which has nothing to offer the nation and stay home Election Day.

It's not that Wegman's employees are bad but the stock they have to work with. I am a real stickler for fresh. I like real lean beef for anything going into the pan but for the grill it's best to have a bit more fat. Anyways, I feel like you that I want to know what cut of beef I am dealing with before I buy it if possible.

Subjective and one of the reasons I hate Chef Ramsey. A woman was on a few months back for a show that was about grilling season. Her approach was to get the seasoning onto the surfaces of a burger but have the center taste like pure beef. He wanted the thing to taste like something you would find at Applbee's complete with overdone through out garlic type taste. For me there is nothing better than the taste of good fresh lean beef and anything else in that burger should be a pleasant interlude at most to the taste of good fresh lean beef. I lament the passing of the local butcher as good fresh beef is hard to find and the meat counter guys at Wegman's dread to see me coming. Sometimes they have the pack of 95 percent waiting for me and hand it off like a football. Further note that dressing maybe a little above super casual will command some respect at a store such as Wegman's.

A terrible experience that I only had once. Thankfully. I wound up being hauled to the hospital in an ambulance as I was physically helpless. About ten minutes after I got to the ER it passed and I caught it in the screen they gave me while peeing in the restroom. Proper hydration is important and reduced caffeine intake may help. Been kind of a sucky past few days with a bug. Puked up quite a bit and could not control my bowels for a few hours. On the bright side I lost 7 lbs the past couple of days. -
Not so much along 5 & 20 but the Southern Tier. Used to be one in Alfred Station a couple miles from the colleges.

Anyone else hate the NFL network commercials for TNF?
RochesterRob replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Simplicity and good taste triumphs over everything else. I remember when the AFC was on NBC and they would simply show one "player" from each team in a match in a squaring off pose then the announcement for the game followed by the NBC chime. Did not need anymore hyping. No need to patronize those with the mentality of a ten year old. -
Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread

I hate to admit this but that is smart of them as they are only hoping to get some city folk off of the sofa to vote for them. They most likely have figured that the few landowners affected relative to the overall population in these states are immaterial for their purposes.
