Bi-Partisan Support For Impeachment
RochesterRob replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Teasing like what Pelosi is doing would make the most bawdy red light district working girl envious. Where does Nancy put the 100 dollar bills? -

Waiting for the mental gymnastics by our resident lefties indicating that Harris has a point yet most Democrats are sensitive and enlightened super beings. -
Kenyan drake trade to AZ reported (edited title)
RochesterRob replied to 0017's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of people off of their Bi-polar meds or what? It was not a pretty loss but it looked like the Eagles were extremely motivated and perhaps our Bills were a little mentally drunk from being 5-1. Yes, we need additional personnel and a couple of players are perhaps starting to succumb to the aging process. Most NFL players only have several productive years in them physically. It's nice to pencil in everybody to have highly productive years into their mid-30's never mind 40 but it seldom happens. Lets put away the torches and pitchforks for now as since NE is now 8-0 the script no doubt reads "NE wins SB again" in terms of the League offices. Every team NE faces from here on out will have an inordinate amount of penalty yards at very opportune moments for NE. The league no doubt has its fingers crossed for 19-0. The bottomline is that this will not be our year so lets get through it and develop players like Allen, Ford, Foster, etc. We've got an entire offseason to address the DL, WR, OL, etc. and that is when the selection is best. -
How old is too old to get in a fight?

There is a 2019 pic in the Wikipedia article on her. She is 63 years old and looks like an old 63. Definitely has not had work done on her face. -

I noticed that, too. The subtitle for that movie should have been "Battle of the Geezers." -
Maybe a mid round selection for a below the radar run stuffing DL but spend no more than that.

Had something quite similar happen at a summer party many years ago. The wife did not tell me until a couple weeks afterward. The guy was a businessman so of course he got dropped from our patronage. -
Bi-Partisan Support For Impeachment

Not only that but bumping off the frontrunner presumably Warren opens a door for Hillary to walk through with minimal effort. Bumping off a House member does not do that. -

Sadly and somewhat fearfully I see this as a real life scenario. Somebody in the Democratic Party (Hillary) wants power at any cost and does not care as to the damage it will do to this country. -
Lay off of the bath salts. I know times are tough for you but it will get better at the laundromat.

Corey Davis absent from practice Wednesday

Meathead is a term used on the 1970's sitcom All in the Family. An insult tossed around by Archie Bunker at those he deems inferior. -

You can't even read your own material! It says 55 percent support an inquiry while 48 percent support removal. How the heck do they get anything else done in Greenwich, Seattle, and SF with polsters stopping obvious leftist types at coffee kiosks? -
Clinton Political Dynasty
RochesterRob replied to TakeYouToTasker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
But that is not how you were selling it and you know that. Harris was a sure thing according to you then Biden. Now Hillary sent the message to the DNC and that has filtered down to you. -

But you have to say these things DNC puppet. A couple months ago you were talking up Harris then Biden now Clinton. How can we take a puppet seriously? The answer is that we can't. I'd rather talk to a person who has a set of firm principles that would admit that the Democrats don't have it right this time but maybe 2024 will be right for Gabbard, Wang, etc.. -

Sounds like all your puppet strings are in place. Don't screw up or you might be in line for a dirt nap. -

On the surface Hillary is very beatable but she has had a few years to devise new dirty tricks which worries me. -
Clinton Political Dynasty

I've been saying this for months. I wonder if somebody more capable would have run if they knew that the Clinton's would be totally out of the picture. As it stands all the other candidates wore themselves out without Hillary raising a finger which was part of the plan. Hillary wanted to stay out of the media light as long as possible in part to help the media stall on any possible Clinton negatives. So instead of being in the crosshairs for two years we are now down to one year and dropping. -
How come your theory did not work during the decade of darkness namely 2001-2010? We had many needs and if we had truly hit on most of those picks we would have been more than a 6-10 or 7-9 team during that stretch. And it ain't all on Mularkey, Jauron, etc.. A flub of a draft pick is just that and can happen whether if a team is otherwise well stocked at that position or not.

Joe B Observations on Bills win over Phins
RochesterRob replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that needing a show of 14 plus points on top of what the opponent has is being somewhat melodramatic. I remember a number of "bad" teams including the mid-1980's Bills being in quite a number of their games for a sizable portion of each game. Often what separates a good team from a bad one is not a dozen players but perhaps 4-6 players and yardage differential not 100-150 yards but often 100 yards or less. Personnel and yardage are far ranging goals to address but often penalties and turnovers can be fixable short term and go from a L to a W. I think all the talk of a NFL team not being able to beat a college squad which I have heard going back to those mid-1980's Bills teams is often taken too literally. -
In days gone by absolutely not but we are in different times where most GM's want to win.

Phillips was trending upward before his injury and both should be steady contributors for the next several years. If this was the management of old where most of our picks yielded very little in the way of contributions then I would be more inclined to get Sanders but we longer live in those times. Thankfully.
