We will need 38-40+. Just because a couple olineman might be out, our DL post Von acl has been underwhelming. If Joe is given too much time we're in trouble.

Ah our staters are so bad missing 3 of the offensive lineman mean nothing at all. I mean you're right we have been lucky in every win we've had. We won't stop them one time on offense and we prolly won't score either right. If you're missing 3 lineman it's nothing against this crap Bills team. I have a real question why watch the game then?

Lol, Miami blitzed more people more times than I've ever seen in a game before yesterday. I'm not sure I saw the Ravens send more than 4 more than a couple of times

Exactly this, I highly doubt they will run as much cover zero as Miami did. Even though we missed on some deep shots Cincinnati won't leave themselves that vulnerable for big plays down the field. I'd be highly surprised if they tried what Miami did.

    You’re reading it too simplistically.

Bills don’t match up well enough against the Bengals, i.e. they lack physicality, ball control, pass rush, etc., to overcome Allen not having a near perfect day.

But isn't it very possible he can have one of those days? I'm not saying he will or he won't but it's a definite possibility.

And furthermore 3 starting offensive lineman might very well be out for the Bengals, you may not see it as an advantage for the Bills but I do. This game isn't a gimme for either team as much as you want to believe it is for Cincy.

Right? The Bengals are not some perfect team and neither are the Bills. The Bills are favored in this game and that seems about right. The Bengals are somewhat mythicized now , and their QB hasn’t earned his stolen nickname of “ Joe Cool “ ( sorry that’s only for one Joe - Montana) This will probably be a close game and I believe the Bills will emerge victorious. The closest thing I see to a perfect team right now is the 49ers ; maybe just maybe the Bills will finally meet that franchise in the Super Bowl.

I understand Josh has been inconsistent as heck this year and yes he has to limit the mistakes he is making for us to win. But for people to act like he can't take over a game and absolutely be the difference in a win is just plain wrong. Cincinnati will be hoping for the mistakes and it's up to Josh not to just give it to them. But as hard as is may seem to be for some people to admit, this team is good enough to beat any team going forward, including the Bengals

As far as QB, the Bills are too player dependent on an inconsistent player.
Ravens have personnel, scheme, and physicality to overcome a lack of playmaking and keep that game close. Bengals aren’t ripe for defeat because the Ravens, in particular, beat them up.

So in you're opinion the Bills are ripe for defeat for having Josh Allen as there Qb? Or am I reading this wrong?

Ravens were physical on both lines of scrimmage, ran the ball effectively, controlled clock, and were able to stack multiple stops defensively in the second half. They match up well with the Bengals to at least be competitive even without a QB. The fact that game was close does not reflect on how the Bills match up with the Bengals.

So you're saying the ravens offense even without there Qb1 is better then our offense with our Qb1 strictly from a matchup standpoint?

I like being home over the Jungle that's for sure... but over the past few years I've listened to post game interviews with opposing players.  Playing in Buffalo really gets the opponents excited.  They enjoy the atmosphere.  Even Skylar Thompson said it was a dream since he was a little kid to play in the environment he was at yesterday.  A team like Cinci will be fired up to play in Orchard Park and shut the fans up.  Just hoping their O-line woes turn the tide towards Buffalo.

So should we not be as loud as we can and throw them a curveball and be silent? I mean come on, playing in our stadium with our fans going absolutely crazy is tough. Doesn't matter where we play the Bengals just like the Bills will be fired up. To say it will fire the Bengals up more to play at high mark is a bad take imo.

If no one is ever allowed to criticize Josh Allen or point out times when he makes boneheaded plays, it's gonna be a loooooong decade around here.

Josh Allen is the primary reason the Bills are yearly Super Bowl contenders.

Josh Allen sometimes makes really dumb decisions, disregards situational football, and needlessly puts the ball in harm's way.

Both of these things can be true!

It is OKAY to point out that Josh Allen -- despite being an elite franchise quarterback who may go down as the best the Bills have ever had -- sometimes makes bad plays, sometimes costs the team points, sometimes keeps lesser opponents in games with his carelessness. It's OKAY! It's OKAY to critique your quarterback! It doesn't make you any less of a fan!

The "no one is allowed to badmouth Josh Allen" hero worship is ridiculous.

I agree with this 100%. But let's be honest people take there criticism to the next level around here, don't forget a few weeks back we were hearing the whole crowd of people who were saying maybe we should bench Josh for a game or 2  and let Case play. Yes Josh has struggled this year and has done some things that he shouldn't in games but that can be said for every Qb in the league. Pointing out mistakes is fine but calling for a benching is definitely next level buffonery.

Yesterday was only the second time that the Bills defense has given up 30 points.

And look what it took for Miami to get those 30 points. I am not neive and know we have to limit mistakes against the Bengals but people acting like we don't have any shot to beat Cincinnati are dead wrong. These are two great teams playing and it's going to be a battle. But the whole we in for a long day crowd acts like its already over. Why have no faith in a team who has won as much this year as we have is puzzling.

They are just as cocky as Joe burrow and mixon

really hope that arrogance underplays the bills and we have a solid game

Wow fans on there teams message board being cocky what a new concept. I've gotten used to the opposite around here, always looking for a flaw, always over analyzing every play. Hearing week after week how this team sucks and we won't win. But after winning 8 games in a row, I'm feeling like Bengals fans to be honest. Bring it on baby!!!!. This isn't the jungle the Bills run the show here.

How am I not paying attention?  They didn't look that way against Cincy to start the game and all the other games Josh says he has to be better.  Trust me, I'm paying better attention than some.

So we got off to a bad start in Cincinnati means we didn't want it bad enough? You do realize we had basically a whole game to play right meaning anything could of happened. Please don't use 7 minutes of a game to use as you're example

Main reason I am here, any injuries vs the Dolphins?

The Bengals lost their LT, looks like a knee, he is already playing on a dislocated kneecap and he has a prior ACL...
    RT out for the year
    RG out for the year

I dont think any other players who were dinged up stayed out...

Wait you're not Bill Nye the science guy here to lecture us on how momentum works?

I don't think the Bills have played any QB's the calibre of Joe Burrow in a long while. Mahomes maybe.  Bills are going to have to want it bad like they wanted it against KC in KC.

Lol come on man read what you just posted. Of course they want it bad. If you even have to question how motivated this team is for a superbowl then you haven't been paying attention

The defense is going to be on the field longer.  Burrow is good on 3rd downs and Frazier doesn't pressure.  Bills will need turnovers imo.

Hate to be stat guy but we are the best in the league on offense at converting 3rd downs. So can't that argument be said for us keeping them on the field longer?

That game was alot like Bills against Ravens in playoffs when Tauron Johnson picks Jackson off and takes it all the way back.  Ravens absolutely haunted by the goal line in the playoffs.  I don't want to face Burrow.  He will dice this defense up and I have seen nothing to the contrary so far.  Bills have their work cut out for them this week.

And best believe we have a Qb who can do the same to there defense as well.

The Bengals still have Eli Apple running around as a starting CB in 2023…

Some of you really need to stop glorifying these other incredibly flawed teams. It’s kind of pathetic. You’ve watched no more than a snapshot thanks to Red Zone TV and now think these teams with very real issues are better for no real reason whatsoever.

Come on man no team has flaws but the Buffalo Bills!!!! Get on board the bad take train.

Oh and the best is the people who post stats then when you post stats to counter their point its..."I don't care about stats its the eye test for me". Even though they initially post stats lol.
