Most of the Bills' injuries have been on defense...Why is that?
42Knuck replied to mannc's topic in The Stadium Wall
The team is trading size for speed. The smaller defenders get hurt more frequently. -
Should the Bills trade up for their own “Julio Jones”
42Knuck replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I trust Bean way more than I trust the last guy. Not saying we should trade up, but if Bean did, I believe it would be a Home Run. -
That was the best!!!! Thank you for sharing, made my day.

I'm excited about all the young DE's. Thinking about all the Bills draft picks that took big steps in year 3, I would certainly expect Epenesa to have a similar jump. Also the fact the Groot had a bf Rookie year should bode well, I just hope he doesn't got he other way into a Sophomore slump?

Former Bills CB Levi Wallace takes blame for 13 Seconds
42Knuck replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
While I appreciate Levi's accountability here, I doubt it's all on him. I'm sure many factors are in play, with scheme most likely being the highest on the list! -
If _______ has a big year or breaks out, this team is SB bound
42Knuck replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Totally agree, if Groot can break out this year combined with Miller and Oliver it will be amazing. Opposing QB's will be running for their lives all day long. -
So does Tee Martin get to Sue as well?

Nope, didn't watch any of the Championship games either. Lost interest when the Bills were knocked out. 🙂

Well, you got me to laugh! But I hear ya man. Tough one. I'll spend my off season listing to Joe Marino cover how the Bills will make improvements. I enjoy his off-season shows almost as much as his in-season. It certainly helps anyway. I would have to argue that a bit. McNabb was an elite QB there for several years. Reid failed to put talent around him for 3 years. When they finally brought in Owens they made it to the Super Bowl. The problem was that after that the window was closing and they couldn't maintain the competitive level.

Funny, I thought the same thin about the coaching. I was a big fan of Donovan McNabb being an SU alum, so I followed Philly during that time, and I really liked Andy Reid. I was thinking after the game how McDermott likely needs to follow a similar journey as Reid did. We always talk about how players need time, and experiences to learn and grow, not sure why we would expect any less from coaches. I'm also encourage in the fact McDermott has shown the willingness to learn and make changes in the past. He coached this game much better than last years, far more aggressive and with much better results. So, I feel very good about our Bills, and where we are going. Buck up boys! The future is bright.

I liked when Brady started talking about how the defensive players are not that bright. That cracked me up, but he better watch out, the defenses he'll be playing will see that for sure. 😃

One Thing You Still Want To See This Bills Team Prove?
42Knuck replied to wagne591's topic in The Stadium Wall
Short yardage runs. When you need two yards, everyone knows your going to run it, and you pick it up anyway. That would be awesome. -
I don't know guys, While I don't agree with Cole's views, I think he is a very good football player, and I would not like to see him off the team. Especially if it means seeing him on another team! And while I agree he was probably not part of tonight's game plan tonight, I don't think it had anything to do with the Social Media thing. I think the Bills knew the middle of the field was going to be soft due to poor LB's and took advantage of hitting the RB's and Knox. My guess is there will be other games where Beasley will be the focus again. It's good to be multi-dimensional. Go BILLS!!!!!!

I guess they figured out that having to backs with similar skill sets is not very effective. There needs to be a change up. Plus, they now have a good back in the wings for when either Devon or Zack gets dinged up I suppose.

Which Bill are you rooting for this year?

My apologies guys, can someone give me the skinny on Emmanuel Sanders? Not familiar with him. Sounds like some really like him, other not so much. Thanks!

So, we're rooting for Pittsburgh next week, right?
42Knuck replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure I care who we play. To quote James Brown, "I feel good". -
Cool article on Golf.com about the gifts Josh Allen gave to the O-Line. https://www.golfchannel.com/news/bills-qb-josh-allen-gifts-golf-clubs-lessons-offensive-linemen

Are Patriots done without Brady, Sure seems that way
42Knuck replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, that was weird to pull a winning QB, unless they don't see this as the year they want to make a run and are looking for one more off season with decent draft capital? LOL! I'm trying hard not to dig in to the friends I have that are Pats fans. It's hard though, I want to soooo bad. -

The scars are too deep to think they are done. I'm not willing to stick a fork in them yet. -
Well, I ain’t saying everything they did was classy! 😂

I don't post very often, which shows since I put this on the wrong page to start, but here it goes: Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but after the John Brown touchdown catch, (that wasn't a touchdown), how many Raiders defenders came up to him and congratulated him for the incredible play he made. I love to see great sportsmanship, and that was pretty cool.

And my other post. You all probably think this is about Gruden taking 3 with fourth and short, but it’s not. I’m fairly certain that if Allen hadn’t hurt his shoulder on third down the Bills go for it on fourth.

“Old” movies to watch with kids
42Knuck replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Not sure if this came up yet, but "The Kid" with Bruce Willis is one of my favorites. Disney movie, great family film. I also watched "The Jerk" with my son when he was about 12, he loved it. It's borderline family, depends on your tolerance level.
