  1. Just a quick run down: 54)Edge because Hughes isn't getting younger 86)OT because we can always use more options - Not sold on Ford at RT, Williams is a 1yr deal, and is Ty's deal almost done? Point being we could use another RT Prospect 128)Boom Stick LB 167)BPA - decent safety 188)AJ Dillion Light (I say that as a joke - apparently they guy knows he isn't twinkle toes and lives for short yardage) - Did i mention he can block AND catch 207)Big Boy, Makes Big Boy Plays, in Big Moments - Likes to block
  2. According to Spotrac we are projected to have 71 Million in cap space.... BUT not all current contracts are on it and...... Tre White and a few others probably need to be locked up long term and it would be a good year to do so. However, dam that seems wonderful.
  3. Interesting - it must have literally just updated in the last 30 minutes. I see the 27 million figure now.
  4. The number directly under it I think is what matters. Also the Patrick DiMarco restructure is not posted yet. Not that it makes a giant difference
  5. We have just over 30 million: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/ and this is inline with another article I saw saying we had about 32 Million
  6. If I had to rank RBs I want: 1) Zach Moss(Rd 2 is fine) - Pure punishing back with some cut - reminds me of a smaller but quicker Blount 2)AJ Dillon (Rd 3/4) - Ya he's not flashy, don't care. Pound the rock. I miss Karlos Williams. 3) Antonio Gibson (Rd 4-7) - Yes he's inexperienced but is there anything he can't do? We seem to like interchangeable pieces so he kind of fits
  7. This is what I feel like TJ Yeldon was supposed to be for us. I also Like that he chooses being being power/look for more. Not shown in this video is his games against Houston and Cinci where he had to make the choice and you could tell he was fully aware of where the first down marker was. Also.... if you search some of his highlights - my god this man has ups - I love JA but this guy will get anything that sails high.
  8. I know this is a bit of a sleeper pick but Antonio Gibson - Really like him as a late rounder - Also I swear I read somewhere that the Bills looked into him(can't find it now though). I wanted to add this video - guy looks like he could be used everywhere. If we are doing BPA with our picks - I'd use a round 4-6 on this guy. He looks a LOT faster than 4.58
  9. Round 1 OT MEKHI BECTON - LOUISVILLE Highest ranking player on board (ranked 15th) - I do feel like WR is deep and the listing below is the order that the considered players came up (Anae is ranked 37th for reference) and I felt a bit of a reach for late-mid round 1. Massive Mauler for RT or either G spot - dudes just impressive Considered: EDGE K'LAVON CHAISSON (Taken in Simulation) EDGE A.J. EPENESA (Taken in Simulation) EDGE YETUR GROSS-MATOS (Taken in Simulation) WR TEE HIGGINS - CLEMSON LB PATRICK QUEEN - LSU S XAIVER MCKINNEY - ALABAMA RB D'ANDRE SWIFT - GEORGIA CB KRISTIAN FULTON - LSU WR LAVISKA SHENAULT JR. - COLORADO WR JUSTIN JEFFERSON - LSU RB J.K. DOBBINS - OHIO STATE EDGE ZACK BAUN - WISCONSIN EDGE BRADLEE ANAE - UTAH ----- Round 2 WR DENZEL MIMS - BAYLOR There was a run on WRs and I didn't want to lose out on a chance at one of the taller WRs. Honestly I'd have been fine with any of the WRs listed in this grouping. I REALLY had to hold back and not draft Taylor(RB) and try to wait for either the chance at what appears to be a tier 3 WR. * I get the feeling we are moving up in Round 2 and Round 3 this year or moving to double up in one of these rounds, possibly even in round 4 Considered: WR BRANDON AIYUK (Taken in Simulation) WR MICHAEL PITTMAN JR. - USC DL JUSTIN MADUBUIKE - TEXAS A&M RB JONATHAN TAYLOR - WISCONSIN G JOHN SIMPSON - CLEMSON DL JORDAN ELLIOTT - MISSOURI EDGE JULIAN OKWARA - NOTRE DAME WR CHASE CLAYPOOL - NOTRE DAME TE HUNTER BRYANT - WASHINGTON ----- Round 3 S KYLE DUGGER - LENOIR-RHYNE Really like this kid - I'd wish he'd be there in the 4th but I doubt that happens. I've seen some articles saying he can essentially play coverage LB and even nickle CB. We love our movable peices and this should fit right in. Highly considered a lot of these guys below - still available in this sim are both: WR DONOVAN PEOPLES-JONES - MICHIGAN and WR BRYAN EDWARDS - SOUTH CAROLINA Considered: DL ROSS BLACKLOCK (Taken in Simulation) DL LEKI FOTU (Taken in Simulation) CB MICHAEL OJEMUDIA (Taken in Simulation) EDGE KHALID KAREEM (Taken in Simulation) TE HARRISON BRYANT - FLORIDA ATLANTIC LB MALIK HARRISON - OHIO STATE CB JAYLON JOHNSON - UTAH EDGE JAMES LYNCH - BAYLOR LB AKEEM DAVIS-GAITHER - APPALACHIAN STATE S BRANDON JONES - TEXAS ----- Round 4 RB AJ DILLON - BOSTON COLLEGE Board is really thinned out here. Player rankings on the list also haven't been updated post combine so I know at this point a lot of the low ranking players are going to be shooting up the board due to their testing numbers. That being said I'm taking King Henry light. Too often we gave the ball to Gore and we got nothing for it. Considered: LB JORDYN BROOKS (Taken in Simulation) EDGE ALTON ROBINSON (Taken in Simulation) RB ZACK MOSS - UTAH RB ENO BENJAMIN - ARIZONA STATE LB LOGAN WILSON - WYOMING G EZRA CLEVELAND - BOISE STATE G NETANE MUTI - FRESNO STATE TE THADDEUS MOSS - LSU WR ANTONIO GANDY-GOLDEN - LIBERTY EDGE JONATHAN GARVIN - MIAMI ----------------------------------------- I only simulated 4 rounds but if I had to fill out the rest here were players I had my eye on for the deep rounds: *Obviously anyone listed above that falls G NETANE MUTI - FRESNO STATE S KVON WALLACE - CLEMSON G MICHAEL ONWENU - MICHIGAN CB HARRISON HAND - TEMPLE OT JACK DRISCOLL - AUBURN EDGE BRYCE STERK - MONTANA STATE LB KEANDRE JONES - MARYLAND EDGE ALEX HIGHSMITH - CHARLOTTE EDGE CHAUNCEY RIVERS - MISSISSIPPI STATE DL KHALIL DAVIS - NEBRASKA DL CARLOS DAVIS - NEBRASKA LB EVAN WEAVER - CALIFORNIA LB CAM BROWN - PENN STATE CB JAMES PIERRE - FLORIDA ATLANTIC
  10. Also - Oliver is getting doubled pretty often. Interesting amount of respect. And when he's singled - he seems to often push his match up back a lot.
  11. I don't post often and I know it's preseason, but man. Allen taking the under and middle throws just looks so nice. I must admit the run hasn't looked good and the D looks up and down - then again it's preseason.
  12. ...... So you're telling me that he should make more than those 5 players at soon to be 32 yrs old?
  13. $20 million a year for a premier pass rusher. Yes, that's true. Hughs, however, is NOT that level of player. Neither is Clowney for that matter. Tell me that 9 to 11 million a year for someone his age with his production isn't basically what he would get on the market.
  14. I think the posters above me kind of said it already, but success should be almost entirely based around Allen's Growth this year. I feel like our D will be as good if not better. Allen progressing will turn into wins - so rather than win totals, how about: Allen - 3500+ yds passing and 800 yds rushing ( btw that's 220ish yards passing per game for a season) ** super amazing progression stat would be a 2:1 TD to INT ratio (As a team) - 2000+ yds rushing Def ranked top 5 (hell i'd take top 10) if we got the above That would be a playoff year
  15. Honestly, Hughs could just be given 2-year contracts at the same amount he's been earning (I think an average of 9 Million a year?)
  16. I thought he was drafted - please get this guy - wanted him as one of our last 3 picks.
  17. 100% agree. If I could swap out any pick - that would be the one. MAN...... that was just brutal to watch him slide to the Cards in the next round. Maybe we'll all be surpirsed and this new guy will be like the McCoy in Philly but for us. Time will tell.
  18. I'd only bring in Tyree Jackson as a camp arm / to stash on the practice squad until Anderson's contract is over.
  19. I think they had a workout or pre-draft visit with this guy - I remember his name being linked to the Bills along with the earlier TE we drafted
  20. So the draft is winding down and there are some pretty interesting people still around. They like to preach that competition is a good thing. So who would you guys like to be brought in? *As of writing this it's the start of the 7th round so some might eventually get picked up. (Another TE) Tommy Sweeney/ Caleb Wilson [Sweeney selected with our last pick ] [Caleb taken by the Cards] (Another WR) David Sills/ Anthony Johnson (CB) Blace Brown (DE) Jonathan Ledbetter (OT) William Sweet (Another LB) Te'Von Coney/Khalil Hohge (Another DT) Chris Slayton/Ed Alexander [Slayton taken by the Giants] (Another OG) Neau Benzschawel/ Nate Herbig (S) Mike Bell **Note: I would love to see us sign Ziggy, Tre Boston, and Jamie Collins while keeping an eye on Gerald McCoy and Kyle Rudolph
  21. @ Binghamton Beast Oh get off that homer concept - I've by no means gone anywhere near that type of delusional bantering. I'm stating that Refs have been poor, penalties and referee decisions have been ununiform at best. The point that is trying to be made is simple - Refs do not make the same calls for the same concepts. They do show favoritism - look no further than the ref telling Cam Newton that he hasn't played in the league long enough to get a call. The Bills won more games this year than I expected - That said, the play in Houston in which Allen got hurt, would have absolutely been a flag if that had been Brady.
  22. Refs have shown clear favoritism and lack of uniformity on play calls for the last five year. This isn't even a debate. That play in Miami where the guy took Allen down by the neck would have absolutely been a flag if it had been Brady.
  23. This could also be applied to Sacks - pretty sure everyone remembers Hughs hugging Luck for like 4 seconds and being like - don't want a penalty, better let him go, and then watching him escape to complete a pass. Simply put - the game is just too fast for current ref staff - they need a set of refs with more defined ruling back in the NYC office that reviews plays and overturns poor or wishy-washy ref calls.
  24. Someone make a website with a simple counter for each time a WR drops an easy pass... We're lucky it doesn't get past him and turn into a pick.
  25. I think the offense is actually pretty good (scheme wise) - I think it's just first-year installment issues. Also if I remember correctly - earlier in the year it was mentioned that the Bills used the highest variation of formations and movement which I imagine is not easy to get players on the same page in 1 year, especially one with limited and/or younger talent across a large number of positions. Don't want to sound like a broken record because I'm clearly in the crowd that thinks Allen has a good chance to be at least in the top half of the league as a QB - Another offseason of learning, get a better O-line, Better weapons, and figure out how to get the ground game going(Lions dropping 6/7/8 into coverage and still stopping the run was hard to stomach) and we could very well be a dangerous team. Not to compare teams because it wouldn't be fair, but I would love to see improvement similar to what the Browns are experiencing right now - Equally young team with new coaching installment but showing grit and growth.
