  1. Proche skipped the 40. Looks super natural catching the ball though. Him and Kalija Lipscomb were my two pleasant surprises of the drills so far.
  2. Michael Pittman Jr. continuing to check all the boxes for me. Answered the speed question too.
  3. Still reminds me of DJ Moore personally
  4. Yep, confirmed what I've thought all along. I'll never understand the people saying he was going to be in the 4.3's. 4.55-4.60 is his range and that's totally fine; his strength is his calling card to me. Still think he's more of a Round 2 than Round 1 though.
  5. Honestly think Jeudy plays faster than a 4.46. Not surprised about Mims either; he's a very tantalizing project. Donovan Peoples-Jones is the next one I'm keeping an eye on. Pittman too, but more out of nervousness for him haha.
  6. Two is absolutely mandatory. Beane should be fired if we don't get two.
  7. John Hightower is one guy I need to go back and find film of. Almost 6'2", 4.43 40, 38.5" vert, big hands. I think Dane Brugler from The Athletic is high on him as well; he checks a lot of boxes.
  8. Damn, first Bryan Edwards, now Jefferson. Tough week for Cover 1's crushes.
  9. His metrics were generally a mixed bag. Pretty much average across the board with the exception of having a good breakout age. The guys watching film generally liked him a lot due to how easily he beat press coverage, stacked his man, and accelerated down the field for explosive plays.
  10. It's from Pro Football Focus' draft guide
  11. Figured I'd post a link to the Google Sheet I've been working on throughout the year. The first tab takes Matt Miller's positional rankings and combines it with the schools that we've scouted this year and color-codes it so you can easily see who we've scouted and where they rank within their position. The second tab lists all the prospects that we've met with at the Senior Bowl and Combine (that I know of), whether or not we scouted one of their games, and where they rank at their position. The third tab is the reason I'm posting it here: I took all the WRs that are in PFF's draft guide and are at the Combine, sorted them into player type categories, and am doing a color-coded breakdown of their metrics, workout results, etc. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EGcKt-3OhHND7shQmY9LREGwBxtnUcFwQtQDz2U-3tk/edit?usp=sharing
  12. Keeping in mind I'm very high on him relative to most of the class, but as for the arguments that can be used against him: He shows impressive contested catch ability for his size, but he's struggled pretty badly (relatively speaking) with making the easy ones. Of the 28 WRs I've been keeping tabs on for the draft, Reagor was 26th in drop % this past season. He shows flashes of running great routes, especially with double moves, but it's not consistent yet. He doesn't consistently track the deep ball well; for example someone posted a circus catch in this thread, but it was turned into a circus catch because he was so slow to realize that it was an errant throw. That play was pretty reminiscent of the potential game-winner that Zay screwed up for us where he was too slow to realize Tyrod's throw was leading him towards the corner and as a result he failed to get there and make the catch. A guy like Ruggs or Jeudy is probably able to adjust to that throw and walk in for a touchdown instead of having to lay out and make a circus catch like Reagor did. Reagor also only has one year of good production, though that's largely because his QB play was so horrendous; for example, his QB was on-target on 30% of his attempts to Reagor this season. Josh Allen is below-average in terms of on-target throws and he's around 70% lol. And lastly (and least important to me personally), a lot of Bills fans want a big WR and he's not even 5'11".
  13. Oh, I see we like Pro Football Focus today. Here's a chart comparing the WRs based on PFF's numbers as well as the important Combine numbers we have so far. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14UTjsBXviD6E8eRRoyqFq2VsAJYz7AuHLt7z5DpzHhM/edit?usp=sharing
  14. He's my WR4 behind the main 3 and is probably the guy I'm realistically hoping for at #22 at the moment. He offers a blend of deep threat, YAC, and contested catch ability that you generally don't see a lot of. I wouldn't necessarily be in favor of drafting all of these guys at #22, but my list from WR4-8 is (at the moment): Reagor, Aiyuk, LSU Jefferson, Higgins. I think those 4 are worthy of consideration, though I might take a different position ahead of some of them.
  15. We just need a good runner to complement Singletary IMO. We can find a more unique skillset (ala a power back or a receiving back) in free agency. And CEH would give us the receiving back we need in addition to being a good runner.
  16. Would absolutely love to pick him up in the 3rd if possible. Has he said if he's going to run at the Combine? I don't expect him to run very well.
  17. Doesn't really change the point of your post, but he wasn't invited to the Senior Bowl. It was the East-West Shrine Game that he skipped, so that he could focus on the Combine, which he's now skipping the athletic testing for because he "is still learning the techniques for the athletic tests".
  18. This would be a dream come true, but I think he's ultimately closer to a top 10 pick than being available at 22.
  19. Been saying I think safety/linebacker could end up being the pick in the first round...Dugger makes sense to me. WR depth = we can wait on that. If the linemen we want are off the board, I would think a DB is next on the list and a safety in particular makes a lot of sense to me with Poyer & Hyde being up soon.
  20. It's seriously pretty incredible. Being a nitpicker, I do still wish we had just taken the unique physical specimen that DK offered last year, especially considering how far he slid. He would have been a natural fit for what I think we should be looking for this offseason. But man, this draft class is so ridiculously loaded. I will be beyond upset if we don't take multiple WRs this year; it would be criminal. I think we might end up putting ourselves in a position where we want to trade up in the 2nd round to get our guy, but hopefully that will not stop us from taking another WR on Day 3. We'll see how things shake out after the combine and pro days...after watching more film, Denzel Mims and Bryan Edwards are the Day 3 guys I've circled so far, but I kinda think Mims will be a riser in the draft process (or at least that he'll be talked about as a riser). Super raw skillset, but he has size, athleticism, and hands. If you're interested in seeing more of these WRs, I can't recommend this YouTube channel enough: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtBCRt-5IbP1uggiqCdUvdQ He's uploading All-22 film of every target/rush attempt these WRs get; obviously that still leaves off the plays where they aren't targeted/don't get open, but still helps a lot in showing what they're capable of. Also, PFF released the first stage of their massive draft guide and I'm working on filtering some of the data into sub-groups (pure wideouts, pure slots, and versatile guys) so that we can compare a bit better. I'll probably try to add measureables from the Combine as we get them too. For the guys that have been watching a lot of film, I'd definitely be curious to hear if you disagree with the categories I put some of these guys into; I haven't watched film on all of them so I've been categorizing some just based on what I've heard or limited film. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14UTjsBXviD6E8eRRoyqFq2VsAJYz7AuHLt7z5DpzHhM/edit?usp=sharing
  21. I’m still skeptical of Shenault’s skill set personally. Also don’t think he really fills the hole in our starting lineup, at least not right away. He becomes a lot more interesting to me if we get someone like AJ or Jeffery in addition because then we can use Shenault in his best spots instead of trying to force him to be something he’s not. He’s an absolute load to try to tackle though once you get the ball in his hands. Ultimately though I think Reagor and Aiyuk can do the same things as Shenault but better.
  22. PFF’s player comp for Shenault is Saquon
