  1. Yeah he was supposed to be one of the late risers in the draft process. Ended up getting taken in the 6th by Jacksonville.
  2. Fromm has the potential to be a really nice fit here: a backup QB that is capable of being a below-average starter, but more importantly, a guy that can make reads pretty well and get the ball into the hands of our playmakers (now that we're finally starting to have some playmakers on the team) to keep the offense on schedule. He certainly doesn't have Josh Allen's upside. But I think he's likely to end up around the same level of player that Barkley is right now and there's at least a little bit of upside that he could become something like a poor man's Marc Bulger or something like that.
  3. When we ranked the RBs that we wanted most this year a week or so ago, Moss was my #1 (based on the idea that I thought we could get him at 86). Needless to say I’m happy with the pick, especially considering a few teams reached on RBs ahead of him. This has been a very strong start to the draft.
  4. I would guess Beane might like: Donovan Peoples-Jones K’Von Wallace John Simpson I would personally like: Amik Robertson (but he doesn’t meet the physical traits McBeane usually look for) James Proche Donovan Peoples-Jones Kalija Lipscomb Or one of the OLine guys
  5. The Andrew Thomas one was nice. Now if I can have just one more miracle prop: Ashtyn Davis first safety taken at +5000 odds.
  6. I'm fine with Shenault and Robinson and I'll defer to smarter people regarding Hunt. Astro was a good resource for my own spreadsheet of trying to track who we've been in contact with among other things, but I don't really see the point in a mock where every single pick is someone we've scouted in person or met with in the offseason; that's just not very realistic as we've averaged roughly 50% of our picks being people that were publicly on our radar and most teams don't even hit 50%. Having every single pick be someone that we watched in person or met with is just incredibly unlikely.
  7. Yeah, I literally bet it a couple hours before there were all of a sudden a bunch of reports of teams being higher on him than people realize lol. Still don't think it'll hit but we'll see.
  8. My bets: Andrew Thomas top 10 (feel pretty good about this one) CeeDee Lamb 13th or later (ehhhh) Andrew Thomas first OL taken (don't actually believe it, but couldn't resist at +950) JK Dobbins first RB taken (same as above) Jedrick Wills first OL taken (actually believe this) I have a couple others that are much longer shot bets where I just bet a couple dollars for fun.
  9. Michael Pittman is the one that I actually have in my mock that would count as a surprise. The others that are mildly surprising but wouldn't be very shocking IMO are: Ross Blacklock Cesar Ruiz Zack Baun Clyde Edwards-Helaire is a possibility as well but I don't have any RBs in my mock.
  10. Man that would be a lot to give up for them. I personally wouldn't do it if I were in their shoes but they definitely have the ammo if they want to.
  11. I’m sure he’ll bulk back up a decent amount. That Leroy guy is saying Arians wants him a little lighter than usual anyways and line him up out wide more
  12. Suh was on the team last year and Football Outsiders had them as a top 5-10 defense last season. I don't personally have much faith in the defense actually being great, but the people suggesting they're legitimate title contenders would say the results were already there last season; just happened to have a QB that handed a ton of points to the other team to make them look bad.
  13. Daniel Jeremiah tweeted that 1st round swap out lol. Insanity. What a shot in the arm this offseason has been for Tampa. Going from playing in empty stadiums to selling out and being a potential Super Bowl contender.
  14. Jay Glazer saying Gronk already completed and passed his physical with the Bucs. Sounds like this is getting completed very quickly. Leroy is one of the Barstool guys' dogs.
  15. The royal blue (not the navy, which I assume is the color rush?) is the only one I like. Also the helmet numbers are so gross to me (as is the navy helmet). I've never really understood the love for their light blue personally. Their light blue and yellow clash for me but seems like everyone else loves it.
  16. Obviously doesn't help his trade value, but it could be a Jags person trying to explain to the fans why they're looking to trade their beloved RB.
  17. I wouldn't hate it. Certainly has potential with his physical tools but he was definitely a disappointment at Michigan even if you factor the QB play in.
  18. I voted Pride but I'd be very very happy to have Edwards as well.
  19. FWIW, PFF graded Fournette as nearly the worst pass blocker in the NFL last year at the RB position. Notable players that graded worse: Tony Pollard Phillip Lindsay Adrian Peterson Marlon Mack Ito Smith
