  1. This is the disconnect. Juju is very good and would have been a huge upgrade as their #2 WR (and #3 target in the passing game). Hill out wide, Kelce at TE, and Juju in the slot would have been devastating. They haven't been able to find a consistent threat at WR outside of Hill and Juju would have given them that.
  2. I guess? Gonna be splitting targets in Pitt anyways though. I think he likely gets about the same number of targets in any of those systems. Can't knock the guy for taking less money to stay somewhere he's comfortable though.
  3. Turning down more money from KC and Baltimore is interesting.
  4. Seems like a weird fit for him but I would imagine it comes down to money if he leaves Buffalo. Can't say I'll be sad to see him go but I wish him the best.
  5. I don't think he's generally considered a good pass blocker or pass catcher out of the backfield. I like him a lot as a player but I'm not sure he's really a good fit here; perhaps as a direct replacement for Singletary but I've thought what we're really missing is a Jamaal Williams type and that isn't Lindsay.
  6. I would vote 0% if given the choice but 0-25% will have to suffice. I'd be really surprised if he makes it.
  7. He didn't really play at all last year so hard to say but he was still very good the year before. I believe he'll be coming off a shoulder injury or something.
  8. Not sure he's the kinda DT we need but I hope he catches on somewhere that he can win some games.
  9. They went on to have one of the best defenses in the league and tied their best record of the century. I think they would say it did in fact work out very well for them.
  10. Big upgrade at backup QB Great for Barkley as he gets a year in a proven system to develop or possibly even get some good film out there (if god forbid Allen gets hurt) Potentially positions us for a comp pick if a team signs him to a starting QB contract next year?
  11. None of the TEs this year (or most years) outside of Kyle Pitts is going to contribute much as a rookie. Buffalo needs a veteran that can play while they continue to develop Knox.
  12. They gave Brate a deal that they can get out of for free whenever they want. The local writers there have pretty widely speculated that he'll be cut whenever they need money. Question simply boils down to whether or not they need that money this year. Howard has been very good when healthy but he's dealt with a lot of injuries. Either guy would instantly be the #1 TE here though and likely wouldn't cost as much financially or asset-wise as Ertz.
  13. I'll always have a soft spot for Gruden after he helped lead the Bucs to a Super Bowl but man some of the stuff they do is completely indefensible.
  14. No way that's a real $16 mil. That has to be with incentives.
  15. Presumably Cam Brate and or OJ Howard are available from the Bucs as potential trade/cut candidates. I might prefer either of them over Ertz but if Ertz comes relatively cheap I will be pretty happy about it.
  16. I very much disagree with that, not to mention Juju is also much younger.
  17. Signing a player like Juju for, let's say, $12 million per year and then saving $10 mil by cutting Crowder would be a really nice move for them IMO.
  18. I might be mistaken but I think there had been reports that they plan to release Crowder. Either way though adding Davis and Juju would be big for them.
  19. Sanders is simply a good and versatile player. It’s not really that complicated. They signed a good player to a one year deal and are just hoping this isn’t the year he massively declines.
  20. I think strictly as a player, Clowney is pretty much perfect for what the Bills writers believe McBeane are looking for in an edge guy. Versatile, good against the run, can set the edge, and can get pressure on the QB as well.
  21. I don’t think we’re getting a comp pick anyways. At best we’re probably looking at a 6th or 7th rounder and there’s no guarantee the NFL even goes that deep with comp picks next year.
  22. I don’t remember for sure but I think Reid has said this before: pressure up the middle is the most difficult thing to deal with. Harder to find than edge rushers though. I think with Baltimore it’s possible they’re looking for more pressure up the middle but also just as possible they simply weren’t happy with Ngakoue and feel that he and Judon were both overrated.
  23. It seems inevitable but you never know with how much they use multiple tight ends. I’d rather just trade for Brate than waiting for him to be cut. His contract is awesome.
  24. So basically, he's being paid like a backup QB
  25. And not nearly as significant, but the punter he forecasted us signing is off the board now too lol
