  1. Oh, well that's completely different than not being able to afford it. You're really just saying that it wouldn't be wise to spend their money that way. That's a reasonable argument to make.
  2. Why is this? Unless I'm missing something, they have roughly $18 million in cap space right now and Jordy & Cobb each free up roughly $10 mil. They can probably cut one and sign Sammy and still have roughly $18 mil left over.
  3. I would guess Jordy is the one that gets released based on the types of WRs they're targeting; they're targeting wide outs and Cobb is a slot guy.
  4. Moore is a guy that you only sign if you wait for all the dust to settle and he's left without a team IMO. There's no reason to sign him as long as guys like Bradford and McCarron are still out there.
  5. If Brees isn't prioritizing money, he'd sign with the Saints. If Brees is prioritizing money, he'd sign with the Jets probably. There's no scenario where Buffalo is the best choice.
  6. Cheating: Kyle Williams Besides him, my stab in the dark would be Jon Bostic.
  7. Ugh. I just don't like the fit with Buffalo at all.
  8. They have Peters and Lane Johnson still...possibly the best tackle tandem in the league
  9. Does this simply mean that this person lives in Philly or that he works for the Eagles?
  10. I'm sure that Bradford's agent is one of the sources they used, but he isn't the only one.
  11. I promise you that Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero are not reporting that a team is interested if their source is a random guy with a blog saying it might make sense lol. They have multiple sources telling them that Buffalo is interested in Bradford.
  12. I think Bradford is a very good QB when healthy, but I don't know how you sign a guy to be a bridge QB that you simply can't rely upon to be healthy enough to be a bridge QB.
  13. I think Bradford ends up being the one left standing when the game of musical chairs ends but we'll see. I'd guess it's him or McCarron that's forced to sign somewhere to a backup QB deal for like $7-8 million.
  14. It's pretty nuts how many QBs Buffalo has been connected to at this point, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Bills themselves don't really know exactly what they're going to do. I wouldn't be surprised if they're basically pursuing every angle possible right now and then figuring out later which angles are actually conceivable/which angles they want to commit to.
  15. I think they always made sense considering his being on a one year deal and the fact that they led the NFL in turnovers last year. Getting Alex Smith right was the one I’m pretty proud about because that one seemed pretty out of the blue.
  16. Where did you see that Buffalo is trading for a free agent QB?
  17. There was a thread about this a while back (before the Alex Smith trade and before AJ McCarron won his appeal) and these were my predictions then. It seems like my Cousins prediction is going to be wrong; I thought Minnesota made the most sense for him but it didn't sound like they were going to pursue him at the time so I put him in Denver instead. I'd guess McCarron ends up in Buffalo when it's all said and done. I still think the rest of my predictions are pretty much in play though.
  18. Much like I said I’d continue to say Cleveland will target Tyrod until it actually happened, I’ll continue to expect Buffalo to target Josh Allen or Sam Darnold until it actually happens.
  19. Hot damn Cleveland listened to me!
  20. He still doesn't create much separation, but he's so physically imposing that it doesn't matter at all. He's "open" on pretty much every play.
  21. He's a good football player
  22. Mayfield meets the Parcells criteria as well, but I think the Parcell rules are outdated personally.
  23. If Baltimore were willing to attach an early draft pick to get Buffalo to take Flacco, I'd consider it, but that's probably the only way.
  24. Might be the first time I've been happy with a Trapasso mock.
  25. If Richardson is actually getting $10 million I wouldn't bother. If he's that close to what Allen Robinson will get, I'd definitely prefer Robinson. Not sure Beane plans to spend a lot in free agency based on the Ivory/Vontae signings though.
