I've been tracking Allen and Edmunds the best that I can, but you have to pay like $150 for the game-by-game scores and I just pay for the cheapest PFF subscription. The scores appear to be adjusted each week, so it makes it difficult to track. For example, players are scored on a 0-100 scale, but after Week 3, to get to Tremaine Edmunds' updated rating, he would have needed to have a negative score in Week 2, so therefore his score from Week 1 must have been adjusted after the fact (PFF had publicly posted their Week 1 and Week 3 grade, so I could piece together what the Week 2 grade should have been based on that).

Looking at NextGenStats.com: Ivory ranks #1 in efficiency (basically measures how much of a north-south runner you are). He faces 8+ men in the box on 38.71% of his carries, which is the 3rd highest in the league. I imagine those two things help. He's rated the 9th best rusher by PFF and the 13th best receiver out of the backfield. The Chargers game is weighing him down big time right now. He's still not playing very well from game to game, but that Chargers game I think he received the lowest possible grade from PFF, so I imagine his grade will likely improve as the season goes on and that game hopefully becomes a blip on the radar.

His deep ball wasn't very good at Wyoming either. It was never supposed to be the one thing he had. Deep ball accuracy is much different than arm strength. His arm strength allows him to make small window throws that other QBs cannot. That and his mobility are his two calling cards. I won't link all the tweets because there's a ton of them, but YardsPerPass was going through the All-22 of Allen this week and it's just absolutely brutal to watch. I still have faith in Allen and I've been high on him for a couple years now, but Mahomes, to me, was the best QB prospect we've seen since probably Andrew Luck. Yeah, that was pretty freakin brutal. Though it ended up not really mattering...Cleveland got the ball back shortly thereafter and scored immediately.

Seattle just spent a 1st round pick on a RB. I highly doubt they trade for Bell.

Bryant is still technically a Clemson student so he can return if he wants.

Just in case it wasn't already posted:

I believe the Titans run a lot of 1 and 2 WR sets. For example, Tajae Sharp is their #2 WR in terms of snaps this season, and even he has only been on the field for a little over half the offensive snaps. Add on top of that the fact that their QB play has been pathetic and they only attempt 27 passes per game, you have all the makings of an underutilized WR.

I think he meant that as a compliment honestly. I think his point was that he was higher on Allen than most of the other analytics based people out there. Most of his contemporaries that work for his site/work for PFF graded him as a late Day 3 prospect.

Daboll is wrong too

I think Humphries could be had as he's an expiring contract anyways. I'd rather just pursue him in free agency if we must though. Godwin is probably near untouchable though. I imagine they envision him being the #2 WR there for a long time.

Hopefully this pass distribution is an anomaly and not an attempt to avoid throwing to his left since he's still working on his mechanics when throwing that way, but we'll see. If this becomes a trend, defenses will definitely take notice. Edit: I say this as one of the people that's been high on Allen as a draft prospect since his junior year. I love him and definitely love what I saw this week.

I could easily see all of them losing between Week 3 (Tampa) and Week 4 (everyone else). I went with Kansas because they play last in Week 4 and I think they have a slightly better chance than the other 3 teams.

They have Allen Robinson and a rookie that hasn't done anything yet. And last year they had literally nothing; their leading receivers were Kendall Wright and Josh Bellamy with 600 and 300 receiving yards.

I'm still a fan of Tanner myself, but I do think there's reason to be cautious with a guy that couldn't make the active roster of the team with probably the worst WR corps in the league last season. And it still isn't very good this season either and he's still on the practice squad.

It's not really. That's why he was the lowest rated QB in the league in ESPN's QBR and PFF's weekly grades (I'm pretty sure he was...if my math is correct, they gave him a 39.04 for Week 2.) For reference, Tyrod is currently the lowest rated QB in the league at a 46.9 on PFF; Allen wasn't even close to that in Week 2.
