  1. My prediction was somewhere in the 4-6 win range. I would say it's a 2-4 win range now.
  2. I think the perfectly clean programs are the exception honestly. I know of guys that were on the end of the benches in college that were getting paid by their schools, and for example, you have a school like Kansas (who are easily right up there with Kentucky as far as high profile goes) offering Zion Williamson money/Zion requesting money and then he ends up at Duke and we're supposed to believe he passed up on all of that to play at Duke for free? I don't buy it. I think the FBI hearings showed beyond a shadow of a doubt that impermissable benefits is a very widespread thing.
  3. He touched the ball 26 times last season and fumbled it 6 of those times.
  4. I think he's at least: 1. Been more productive in college than Foster 2. More shifty; Foster seems like he literally can only run straight. This guy has at least a little bit of elusiveness to him. I think he's more like a Tavon Austin type than a Foster type but still probably a non-factor overall unless Daboll gets creative.
  5. For those interested, Lance Zierlein's scouting report on McKenzie from a couple years ago when he was in the draft: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/isaiah-mckenzie?id=2558129 The skinny on him is: Dude is absolutely tiny at 5'7" and 170 lbs, but he had a 4.42 40 and 36" vert. He was a return specialist for most of his college career with 6 punt/kick return TDs and then his playing time increased a lot his junior year, in which he led Georgia in basically all receiving categories with 40+ catches, 600+ yards, and 7 TDs. Pretty much purely a vertical threat that was considered to have relatively poor hands and poor route running but has speed for days and can make people miss once he gets the ball.
  6. Am I taking crazy pills or did OP get the name, team, and previous team all wrong?
  7. The Draft Network just updated their top 500 big board: https://thedraftnetwork.com/2018/06/28/2019-nfl-draft-prospect-database/ For the UB fans, Tyree Jackson dropped from (I think) 146 to 213th (7th best QB). Anthony Johnson went up from 148 to 145 (22nd best WR). Their top 10: Nick Bosa, DE Ed Oliver, DT Quinnen Williams, DT Deionte Thompson, S Raekwon Davis, DT Jeffery Simmons, DT Greedy Williams, CB Clelin Ferrell, DE Brian Burns, DE Mack Wilson, LB Top Offensive Players: 11. Jonah Williams, T 12. Noah Fant, TE 13. DK Metcalf, WR 14. Kelvin Harmon, WR 18. David Edwards, OT 19. Justin Herbert, QB 22. Tyler Biadasz, C 27. Yodny Cajuste, OT 28. JJ Arcega-Whiteside, WR 29. Dawson Knox, TE 30. Kaden Smith, TE 31. Chris Lindstrom, G 32. Riley Ridley, WR
  8. I'm not positive, but I think it might light up in a way that it very quickly and briefly shows you the direction (starts out lighting up on the left and very quickly lights up towards the right to show that the animal was headed towards the right), but I'm not entirely sure. I usually only track animals after I initially see them flee anyways so I know which direction they were headed.
  9. I can definitively say that one part in fixing the offense would be to not be spending by far the most money on RBs in the league.
  10. I haven't really had an issue with the trails ending unless you're referring to the "Tracking _____" bar emptying. You have to keep entering eagle eye every once in awhile to reset the bar as far as I can tell. My issue with the moose is that he kept moving at the last second, so I had to shoot him like 5 times and each time I missed, I spent another half hour running around in circles trying to track him again. By the time I finally killed him, eagle eye just looked like a gigantic spider web because we had run laps around the same creek like 50 times.
  11. It's amazing how much time I can pass with this game. Spent a solid 2 or 3 hours the other night hunting down the legendary moose up in the northeast. Also really enjoyed taking a train up to a random city (which turned out to be in the NE corner of the map) and then just rode my horse down the coast discovering a lot of other areas. I'm probably a solid 30-40 hours in and it says I'm like 30% of the way through the story missions and like 42% of the way through the game.
  12. For what it's worth, one of the guys I trust is saying we're out on Stewart at this point barring something unforeseen changing.
  13. Most of them tend to not work out, but dating back to 2011: Tampa: Ryan Jensen - arguably the #1 center on the market at the time DeSean Jackson Robert Ayers Brent Grimes Michael Johnson Anthony Collins Alterraun Verner Vincent Jackson Carl Nicks Eric Wright Cleveland: Chris Hubbard Travis Carrie Carlos Hyde Kevin Zeitler Kenny Britt Tramon Williams Donte Whitner Karlos Dansby Paul Kruger Desmond Bryant All these guys were considered to be pretty big signings at the time.
  14. The Browns and Bucs haven't made the playoffs in roughly a combined 30 years and they still make big signings seemingly every offseason. Buffalo will be able to sign guys if they want to.
  15. I don’t have direct connections, but I know a few people who do so it’s more like a friend of a friend is hearing _________. I remember hearing the same stuff regarding Noel too
  16. This is what the people I trust have been saying too; from what I've heard, the staff came out of Akok's visit with the impression that he wasn't all that interested in them anymore. I hope you're right about Stewart; I've heard that we at least have a chance but isn't seen as particularly likely.
  17. That pass is so perfect, but I honestly wonder if NFL teams will watch that play and just think "It's a nice throw, but man his footwork is a mess" and actually look at this as a negative play for him.
  18. It’s not strictly the cap space for for me so much as it is the fact that I yoinks Buffalo can get an upgrade at RB for a fraction of the cost.
  19. Seems like an inefficient use of the cap to me, but it is what it is. I don't mind having him around or anything.
  20. His last season as a starter, he played for a god awful team and if you extrapolated his numbers for a 16 game season, he would have finished with roughly 4,300 yards, 29 TDs, and 6 or 7 INTs.
  21. I don't really know when this became a thing, but this is flat out false. Denver offered to trade for Kaepernick on the condition that Kaepernick would take a 50% paycut, to which he declined like anybody else would have. This happened BEFORE he had ever protested and before the league allegedly colluded against him. The only offer that Kaepernick has reportedly received since he began protesting was a league-minimum deal from Seattle. It's not really shocking that a guy that played decently well as a starter the last time we saw him would want more than the minimum to continue playing.
  22. I'm not really much of an offensive line expert; just meant it to make the point that you can take Oliver and still add 4 offensive players in the first 4 rounds and they'll likely all be pretty good prospects.
  23. I personally don't believe in paying average starters $20+ million even though that's the going rate for them. I'd rather just move on to someone on a rookie salary than to settle for that level of QB play (unless the rest of the team is exceptional). But having said that, if you don't follow that same philosophy (which most NFL teams do not), his contract is actually quite good. It's basically 4 one-year contracts; whoever acquires him can cut him at any point and get almost all of the money back and his cap hit is pretty much the norm nowadays for a QB that isn't on their rookie contract. His cap hit will be roughly in the 16-20 range for QBs next year.
  24. Just my opinion (based on my assumption that Buffalo is picking in the 3-5 range): I will be happy if they go with one of these two routes: 1. Trade down and stockpile picks. I would guess this would mean moving down far enough that a WR or OLine would no longer be a reach, and I'd probably lean in that direction (we're talking like the mid to late teens); I'd like to get N'Keal Harry or Kelvin Harmon there based on what I've seen of them so far this year. Even after trading down, I wouldn't be vehemently against taking a pass rusher or corner in the 1st round; trading down should give us enough picks to address most of the offensive concerns anyways. 2. Stay in the top 5, take Bosa/Oliver/Quinnen/maybe Greedy if they're available and then turn the focus to offense. You could theoretically come out of the first 4 rounds with: Ed Oliver, DT Collin Johnson, WR Isaiah Prince, OT Riley Ridley, WR Darrell Henderson, Karan Higdon, or Matt Colburn, RB I'd be pretty thrilled with that.
