  1. I’d take Oliver but I’d be damn happy with either one. Also think I’d probably lean towards trading down if I can get a decent return.
  2. I don't think anyone can really give an informed opinion of what to do with each pick until we know where the picks are, but I'd say the team's needs are, probably in this order: 1. #1 WR 2. #2 WR 3. O-Line, specifically interior 4. #2 CB 5. TE 6. RB 7. DT 8. DE 9. Backup QB 10. 3rd down RB Having said that, if Buffalo ends up picking top 2 and choose not to trade the pick, I'd probably take Bosa/Oliver.
  3. I personally did not see most of the game so I can't confirm whether or not the refs were actually letting this stuff go throughout the game. My point is that it's a blatant penalty. If the refs screwed up earlier in the game, then they screwed up. Refs are supposed to call penalties when penalties occur regardless of the situation and in the case of the Sherman penalty, they made the correct call. If you want to argue that they missed similar calls earlier in the game, I can't really argue that since I didn't see it, but there's really no argument to be made that what Sherman did is not a penalty.
  4. Just some perspective, here's Ed Oliver compared to the first DT taken in each draft this decade (plus Gerald McCoy since he was also considered one of the best DT prospects we've seen in a long time). Outside of Aaron Donald, nobody is even remotely close to him in terms of tackles for loss and outside of Donald, he's pretty close to everyone in terms of sacks.
  5. He's definitely behind the other 1st round QBs right now, but that's okay. He was always supposed to be behind them his rookie year. Beane didn't draft him for how he thought he'd play as a rookie; he drafted him for where he thinks he can get to in a year or two.
  6. If they really weren't calling that all game, then yes.
  7. If you take away the one game where he was knocked out a few plays into the game, he’s on a 16 game pace of over 1,000 yards despite being the #3 or 4 option in the offense. The Bills #1 option will be lucky to hit 500 yards. And Sammy is still ranked as the 46th best WR by PFF which is roughly 40 spots higher than the Bills top WR. hes obviously overpaid but hes a good player regardless. You could overpay worse guys, like Buffalo has done.
  8. All that tells me is that the refs screwed up early on and got it right in the end. It was a blatant penalty.
  9. Smith legitimately deserves it though. Fitz less so but he was never going to hold off Jameis.
  10. Most likely they'd just promote Robiskie or Castillo to OC and we'd all call for their heads by this time next week. They're not about to hire someone that's currently with another team/on the market in the middle of the year.
  11. The correct answer is zero. Andy Reid's teams have started 4-0 four times, one of which being this season. The other three, they lost in the Super Bowl and lost in the first round of the playoffs.
  12. Kyle Williams - probably retire Lorenzo Alexander - keep Jordan Phillips - TBD Phillip Gaines - walk Eddie Yarbrough - walk or league minimum Ramon Humber - walk Nobody else of significance is up for free agency as far as I can tell.
  13. Can probably cross DK Metcalf off the list. He's out for the year with a neck injury.
  14. Depending on who declares for this year's draft, I think Lock ends up going top 10 when it's all said and done but we'll see. Grier I do believe has a solid chance of being there in the 2nd. I don't think Buffalo even considers taking him or any other QB though. At best, maybe a Day 3 pick to groom as the backup, but the team has so many other positions that I'm sure they'll view as bigger needs than backup QB.
  15. I think they can take him in the 3rd or 4th if they want
  16. To be clear, he isn’t actually on the block according to this article unless I missed something. It’s just Matt Hasselbeck saying they should trade him.
  17. Didn't he do the same thing against the Chargers too?
  18. This makes sense in theory, but: 1. Buffalo has so many needs right now that they really can't afford to sacrifice a draft pick every year like this on guys that ideally won't even play a snap for them. 2. Buffalo specifically drafted a QB prospect that they knew would be bad Year 1 in the hopes that he'll be good in Year 3 or maybe Year 2 if they're lucky. It doesn't really make sense for them to draft another QB early this offseason because they almost certainly will still believe Allen is the guy by the end of the year.
  19. If you want the next Derek Carr, you could probably just trade for him based on the reports out of Oakland. At any rate, I give it about a 5% chance that this front office drafts another QB in the first two rounds this offseason (unless Allen suffers a catastrophic injury).
  20. I will admit Ivory has vastly exceeded my expectations after how bad he was in Jacksonville last year. I still think you could find a player his level for like 1/4 of the cost though. But he's at least playing well on the whole this season, which is more than I can say for a lot of the offensive players.
  21. DiMarco was definitely called for one as well, though I think it was because of the way someone else was lined up in that case.
  22. I still wish they had fought the urge to trade up. I would have been happier staying put, taking Lamar Jackson, and using the extra picks to acquire some offensive talent so whoever the QB was would have a fighter's chance. I still liked Josh Allen quite a bit and was happy to have him though. Having weapons in place or at least young talent is the major regret IMO. Choose Josh over Lamar is just a minor one.
  23. I don't mean to poo poo Zay, who has looked pretty solid the past couple weeks, but to be clear, 2.4 yards ranks him 112th out of 131 WR/TEs. Having said that, his true catch rate (catches/catchable targets) is 81.2% this year, which off the top of my head (I can confirm this in the morning), I believe is roughly 24% higher than it was last year. He was pretty much the worst in the NFL last year, whereas 81.2% ranks him 58th in the league so far this season. Edit: For those that are curious, Charles Clay ranks 40th in the league at 3.3 yards of separation and 2 of the 19 WR/TEs that are worse than Zay are his own teammates.
  24. I can assure you they 100% will pass on a QB because they have Allen. You're kidding yourself if you think there's any chance of it. The only way a new QB is drafted in the 1st round this year is if Allen suffers a career-ending injury.
