  1. Gruden also said Cooper will be a big part of the passing game moving forwards like a week ago so I’m not gonna put much stock in what he says. Having said that, I don’t think they’ll find any takers for Carr so I think he stays at least for this season.
  2. He's paid roughly $14 million next season and then becomes a free agent after that.
  3. To be fair, his contract is fully-guaranteed for 10 years if I remember right. Oakland really can't afford to get rid of Gruden for quite awhile, so he should have a long enough leash to tear this team down (and maybe even tear it down a second time) lol. Raiders probably played themselves by giving him that much power, but that's where we are now. They absolutely have to nail these picks/the signings they make with the money that they saved on Mack to not come away looking like fools though, and that's not an easy task.
  4. I honestly don't think he necessarily lost that trade either. Two first round picks, a 3rd round pick, a 6th round pick, and roughly $24 million in cap space is a lot to get back for one player, especially one that isn't a quarterback. This draft class is loaded with pass rushers if Oakland elects to go that route too. I think people have overreacted to that trade big time personally. Obviously it's a pretty big loss in the short-term, but I think the Raiders have shown that they weren't going anywhere this season anyways and if they play their cards right with all the assets they got in return, they should be able to retool pretty quickly.
  5. He's currently rated the 65th best WR in the league by PFF and that's better than he was last year. To put that in perspective, Kelvin Benjamin is only 12 spots behind him. His grade of a 64.8 is currently below 16 first round picks (and presumably a bunch more picks that came outside of the 1st round). It's an upgrade for Dallas for sure, but yes, I think teams fully expect that they can draft better players than him.
  6. Yeah but with Cooper, maybe that ends up only being a top 6 pick instead.
  7. I was just about to say I imagine the Eagles are pursuing Peterson. Also think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could very well be in on him too.
  8. The Cardinals are at -92 point differential. Buffalo is -94, so it's actually really close between those two.
  9. After this week's ratings come out, I predict that Darnold, Rosen, and Allen will all be in the bottom 4 of starting QBs according to PFF. All 4 of the rookies are in the bottom 5 based on ESPN's QBR as well, and if you add up the Week 7 QBRs of each of the rookies that started, they barely edge out Derek Anderson.
  10. It doesn't really change much, but for the record, these guys actually have the following number of fumbles: Darnold: 3 Mayfield: 4 Allen: 4 Rosen: 3
  11. If it's any consolation, Derek Anderson's QBR this week was 25.2. The three rookie QBs this week COMBINED for a QBR of 26.7. It was a tough week for the rookie class lol
  12. Even as somewhat of a Tyrod supporter, I'd still make the trade that they did. The first pick in the 3rd round for Tyrod was a great deal. Having said that, as I said throughout the offseason, it was clearly going to be a step back at the QB position this year. It was pretty much guaranteed that Peterman would be a downgrade from Tyrod; and both Allen and McCarron were almost certainly going to be worse.
  13. That's not true. Certainly it can't be any worse than it is right now! Surely this is the bottom, right?
  14. This is actually an interesting question. My quick answer without thinking about it much is probably 2. Maybe 4 if we're being optimistic. I think the Bills OTs are better than New England's. I think you could debate McCoy > Michel and Clay > Dwayne Allen if Gronk is still out next week.
  15. Seriously, he seemed to playing okay (and I use that term relatively compared to the QB play we've had all year) and then I flipped the game off and a couple minutes later he had somehow turned it over like 4 times. Like what actually happened? lol
  16. If Allen is still struggling by the end of the year, then McDermott and Beane will get the offseason to address the team's needs and they'll move forward with Josh Allen as the starting QB for his sophomore year. If instead he's playing well by the end of the year, then McDermott and Beane will get the offseason to address the team's needs and they'll move forward with Josh Allen as the starting QB for his sophomore year.
  17. Yeah, I thought it was something like that. Yeldon will definitely be an option for Buffalo if they're interested in him/if they decide to move on from McCoy.
  18. I'm fairly confident Yeldon is walking this offseason even before this trade happened. No sense in Jacksonville spending big money on a backup RB when they already have cap issues as is (if I remember correctly)
  19. He really hasn't been remotely a stud. He's been a terribly inefficient runner for them and an absolute trainwreck as a pass blocker too. We'll see if Chubb does better, but I'm not sure this is a big loss unless Chubb gets hurt.
  20. I don't think Hyde demanded a trade and I don't expect Landry to do so either. Cleveland's been pretty decent this year and Landry is getting a ***** ton of targets to boot. I doubt he's really unhappy right now. I'd guess Cleveland is more likely to acquire another WR than to trade one away.
  21. Obviously things will change as we get closer to the draft, but man, some of DraftTek's rankings seem like they're way, way off. Like they have Devin Bush and Riley Ridley ranked as 5th or 6th rounders...I know McShay currently has Bush as a 1st round pick and I know the guys at The Draft Network all think Riley Ridley is like a 1st or 2nd round pick.
  22. If he comes out, yeah. Not sure he'll want to come out if he's only going to be like a Day 3 pick when he could be a top 10ish pick the following year.
  23. Thank god. I'm in a very deep fantasy league in which the only options for a QB this week (while Wilson is on Bye) were Anderson, Peterman, and Lamar Jackson. A guy ahead of me on Waivers picked up Peterman and left me with Anderson lol.
