  1. I've seen the rumors but I think it might just be a smokescreen. Already have Davis, Cohen, and for now, Howard. Seemingly want to move on from Howard so that they don't have to give out a big contract to a RB. I wouldn't be surprised if this is more about re-signing their own, such as Bryce Callahan, or possibly pursuing one of the strong safeties that are out there.
  2. I don't know about the Barr deal, but the Funchess one is only a one year deal and it's less per year than Morse (unless Funchess hits some incentives). Colts had a ton of cap space so they got a young WR on a prove-it deal; nothing to really hate about that.
  3. I think that's a stretch even if we limit it to off ball LBs. There's quite a few that I would probably take over him. Not that they're the end-all-be-all, but PFF for example had him rated around the #40 off-ball LB this season.
  4. Correct. There’s been multiple deals already today worse than the Funchess one. That’s my point. It’s not really that bad because if it’s doesnt work out, he’s gone in a year anyways. Like the Jags for example just worked their asses off to clear cap space and now they’re screwed for at least 2 or 3 years lol
  5. Funchess is an overpay, but a one year deal of an overpay isn’t a big deal. There’s some serious potential for Buffalo to hand out a deal like this, but 4 years instead of 1.
  6. To be fair that’s with incentives. We don’t know what the base is yet. I bet Buffalo hands out a worse contract by the end of this.
  7. I’d guess around 4 years $52-56 million for Tyrell
  8. Hopefully this means one or two of our other old RBs are getting cut.
  9. Literally one of the highest rated RBs in the league last year lol
  10. Yeah, that was my exact thought. He was the one I least wanted and I continue to expect one of the slot guys to get a raw deal, so hopefully that one ends up here.
  11. Granted Humphries didn't look like much coming out of Clemson either, but this is one of those deals where you have to decide how much certainty is worth. If you sign Humphries, you know you're getting a good slot WR. Renfrow could be, but he didn't really do much at all in college. Everything about Henfrow from an athletic and a production standpoint suggests he won't do anything in the NFL, but that was the case with Humphries too so who knows?
  12. He'd be a fit because Zay is a backup caliber WR and Humphries is a starter.
  13. Sure it was! Nice recovery! My bad haha; too many ignorant people comparing every white WR to one another ?
  14. He's really nothing like Hogan at all and is also a significantly better player than Hogan.
  15. Was probably shaping up to be his worst season to date lol. I guess the idea with him is that if he ever learns how to tackle, he could be good because he has pretty good range and he's a solid blitzer, but he's among the league leaders in missed tackles every season.
  16. That is ***** insane. He's now (until Mosley signs) easily the highest paid ILB in the NFL and he's been a below average starter on one of the worst defenses of all-time.
  17. Beckham is obviously better but DeSean was still a top 20-30 WR last year and you're probably talking about trading a 6th for DeSean and a 7th or something versus a 1st and 3rd and maybe more for Beckham.
  18. It's all perfectly defensible (though Brown is almost certainly overpaid even if he is pretty good). They turned Mack into multiple first round picks and more, and turned a 3rd and a 5th into arguably the best WR in the league and signed a good LT without giving up anything beyond the opportunity cost.
  19. I’d gladly release McCoy and Ivory and take Gore on the cheap instead.
  20. Gore would definitely cost more. He was the #11 rated RB in the league this season.
  21. Gore is actually still playing pretty solid ball. Might even be better than McCoy at this point. But this is hilarious considering how old the RB stable is already.
  22. Jameis has been pretty good throwing to Evans, Humphries, and Brate, but for whatever reason, he and DeSean just never got on the same page. Most of Jameis' passes to DeSean were not remotely catchable. Still, DeSean finished the year as the #25 ranked WR from PFF and his advanced numbers are all pretty good. Tampa had arguably the best receiving corps in the NFL this past season and DeSean was a part of that.
  23. He makes sense with Allen, but: 1. Might be a bit redundant with Foster already in place 2. This would mean keeping Shady, which is a mistake IMO Still a good WR and they can certainly afford him though.
