  1. I'm not expecting a win tonight, but with the amount of shooting we have this year, we should end up surprising a couple teams on nights where we just get hot; maybe this will be one of those. Certainly a major test for the development of Jalen Carey right away which I'm happy to see (though I've been hearing he's looked pretty rough in practices, but fingers crossed it comes together in live action). It'll be available on WatchESPN.
  2. My guess is that there's probably too much pride both from San Diego and from the Chargers for them to make up now.
  3. The 4% is weighted based on win probability for the remaining games. Yes, we're only one game behind New England right now, but the Sagarin team ratings that the projection is based off of has New England as the 2nd best team in the NFL and Buffalo as the 22nd best team. Long story short, they don't think Buffalo has pretty much any chance of closing the gap.
  4. What does Wembley have to do with this?
  5. I don't know how to tell you this, but London is one city.
  6. Picking only the games I'm pretty much entirely certain about (ex: any game against the Jets, Bengals, and Dolphins), I come away with a 61% chance of making the playoffs with the Broncos and Steelers games being the two left. Splitting those games results in roughly a 60% chance. Win both and we're in. Lose both and we're almost certainly out.
  7. It all looks super promising until you start plugging in results for the other likely wild card contenders. With the Bills losing to Cleveland, Dallas, and Baltimore, while beating Miami and Denver, I have Buffalo at a 50% chance with 3 games to go. And assuming we beat the Jets and lose to the Steelers, we're left with a 91% chance if we beat Pittsburgh or a 35% chance if we lose. If god forbid they drop that Denver game (which I'm decently nervous about), it's basically over. at that point. Edit: Picking some more of the Week 15-17 games for AFC opponents, the chances end up at 63% if we beat Pittsburgh and 31% if we lose.
  8. The Navy offense almost literally doesn't throw the ball at all. Lamar is a better passer than a lot of other starters right now.
  9. Their passing game is outproducing 12 other teams, including ours, and Lamar has more total yards by himself than 5 teams have.
  10. I wouldn't go that far, but I do think that they're distanced themselves from the rest of the AFC along with New England and KC.
  11. Floating right into his receiver's hands for some yards after the catch, yeah.
  12. There's a reason Baltimore has been arguably the #1 offense in the league this year...they're going to be very difficult to stop.
  13. Wow, that's a huge tip off if what Collinsworth said about Lamar is true.
  14. He's shifty, but with Allen it's more about powering through arm tackles. Lamar is as elusive as any running back in the league.
  15. Wow I've watched so much of Lamar and I still can't believe he escaped that one and made it look so easy.
  16. More accurate, better pocket presence, much better reading coverage. Vick and Lamar are really only comparable in terms of running ability.
  17. Isaiah Jackson announcing his commitment in two weeks. I've heard mixed things on our outlook here. My understanding is that at least up until now, the staff has felt like we're in a good spot to get him, but other people have told me they're more pessimistic than the staff is.
  18. My right jaw has been stiff and sore on a pretty consistent basis for probably about a year or two now. It never truly gets locked up, but every once in awhile, I'll go to open my mouth and it'll feel like something broke for a split second on its way open, like it was locked for just a millisecond and then broke free. This week has been especially bad. I'm finally going to see a dentist on Monday; hopefully if they can't do anything about it, they might at least be able to help identify the issue and point me in the right direction.
  19. I don't really see any way that he slips to Buffalo through waivers. In all likelihood he's going to Miami once he's released.
  20. Highly doubt he gets traded and even more highly doubt he gets traded here. But I'd at least have some amount of interest in him, unlike Gordon who I want absolutely no part of.
  21. He could be but I doubt it. It doesn’t make any sense at all.
  22. Buffalo was under 4 yards per carry (excluding scrambles). Aside from the one 16 yard scamper Singletary had, they were a little over 3 yards per carry with a long of 8. We weren’t running the ball well at all.
  23. it’s not that he’s making it up. He’s Just might be being fed bad info by the Chargers to try to convince teams that there’s interest in Gordon.
