  1. Johnny laid out what I would imagine is the most likely scenario, but there's other potential guys that could transfer/leave for other opportunities as well. We wouldn't be trying to bring in 3 if we weren't confident we could take 3.
  2. Threw together a Google Doc to track the games that Buffalo is scouting (based on what Yolo has posted in here as well as a BuffaloRumblings post) and as a result, highlight prospects that play for those teams that appear in Matt Miller's rankings. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EGcKt-3OhHND7shQmY9LREGwBxtnUcFwQtQDz2U-3tk/edit?usp=sharing TLDR, Buffalo has been on hand for the following (emphasis mine): QB: 4/10 RB: 3/15 WR: 6/15 TE: 3/13 OT: 5/12 OG: 5/12 OC: 1/11 DL: 4/13 Edge: 7/15 LB: 4/15 CB: 5/14 S: 3/10
  3. My feelings remain nearly unchanged: The wild card spots appear poised to come down to Buffalo, AFC South #2 (my guess is Indy wins the division so this is Houston), and Cleveland in my opinion. I had recently given the Chargers an outside chance at making a run...I think I might replace them with the Raiders at this point but ultimately I think it's the first three I mentioned fighting it out.
  4. Not sure if this was included in this thread already, but came across this today: I understand the argument that you should always tip well. It makes a lot of sense if you assume the fact that customers are responsible for paying an employer's workers makes sense in the first place. I think the entire idea of tipping is stupid though.
  5. No. Edit: That doesn't mean Isaiah is coming btw, just means that Richmond's likely commitment doesn't impact Isaiah.
  6. Vs. Miami - Win Vs. Philly - Loss Vs. Washington - Win @ Cleveland - Loss @ Miami - Win Vs. Denver - Win @ Dallas - Loss Vs. Baltimore - Loss @ Pittsburgh - Win @ New England - Loss Vs. NY Jets - Win 10-6 regular season. I think we end up at 9 or 10 wins but I'll go with 10 for my official projection. Playoffs depends on matchup but I would guess a wild-card loss.
  7. I'd be pretty surprised if Edmunds made it unless he picks his play up by a pretty large amount. Generally speaking, you need to be among the league leaders in one of two categories to make the All-Pro team as a linebacker: tackles or sacks. The only exceptions are guys that are like top 20ish in tackles and also among the league leaders in pass breakups. Edmunds currently ranks 49th in tackles (if we add in a 6th game at his current average, that still only gets him up to 32nd) and he has 0 sacks and 0 pass breakups. He's been good this season but he just isn't putting up the type of numbers that have been required to make one of the All-Pro teams in recent history. Maybe the NFL rewards Buffalo's defense and gives it someone with relatively underwhelming numbers, but I would guess it's more likely to be one of the safeties or corners at the moment.
  8. Then he probably doesn't know the rule or just doesn't know what he saw. I doubt his view was any better than the one video that someone else posted where it's pretty much perfectly angled.
  9. Wychek's foot was on the 25. The ball was not released anywhere near the 25. Where the ball was released is the important part. The only logical reason that people can think it was a forwards pass is if they simply don't know what the rule is.
  10. I think it was pretty clearly a legal lateral. Looks like it travels at least a foot or two backwards. I've never really understood (apart from the emotions involved) why people actually believed it was a forward pass.
  11. I think Gruden is a slightly above average head coach, but it seems like it was probably time for them to move on. Certainly don't think he's the issue there, but it's one of those cases where it's easier to replace a coach than it is to replace the entire roster. Bruce Allen's time is coming too, and obviously Snyder won't fire himself.
  12. It was mostly screens, slants, and drags.
  13. Yes, but the info came from someone outside my usual network and he swore me to secrecy on it.
  14. Andre is 99% going to UConn. Isaiah though...we'll see. I know the staff feels like they're in a good place for him. Heard his visit went very well. Like Johnny said, we thought we were out of the picture completely and then Isaiah reached out to us. Kentucky looms as a big threat as always though.
  15. Denver isn’t trading him for a 5th when they’ll get a 3rd or 4th for letting him walk. i think I’d pass on him personally but I wouldn’t be mad if we went for it either.
  16. I won't waste too much time on this because I think we probably both agree that Allen is a far better prospect than EJ was. Totally agree that they aren't very similar as players; someone else summed it up pretty well. Can't remember who, but they mentioned that EJ flat out looked like a bad QB; Allen looks like a talented QB that's making unnecessary mistakes right now. I think it's pretty much as simple as that between the two of them. Allen has far better tools and passes the eye test much better than EJ; he just needs to cut some of these poor decisions out and avoid letting his mechanics revert like they did this week. Having said all that, EJ did lead two game winning drives his rookie year, which is right in line with Allen. But again, I don't think EJ was particularly close to Allen as a prospect.
  17. I think EJ was likely never going to pan out (and I didn't think highly of him as a prospect in the lead up to the draft either even though I had been told he was our target), but I also think he had a crazy short leash considering the okay-ish play that we got out of him. To only give him 16 starts, most of which came in a year where he was never meant to play to begin with, was pretty crazy.
  18. I think Gruden and Quinn are the only options honestly. Anybody else that gets let go would be kept until the offseason IMO. Gruden and Quinn have a decent chance of getting the axe earlier than that. I kinda wonder if Mike Zimmer gets the axe in the offseason. If they continue winning games in spite of their passing attack, maybe he survives, but he can't fire DeFilippo this time and I believe his contract is up at the end of the year anyways.
  19. Burfict should be banned, though I think this suspension likely accomplishes that anyways; I doubt anyone else gives him a chance after this. Jones...I don't really think he should be suspended. A fine is alright; I think the taunting after the play was a bigger infraction than the actual hit was personally.
  20. I think most people can agree with that honestly. Doesn't mean moving on from him was the wrong decision, or even that picking Allen was the wrong decision.
  21. In my defense I've been saying we should cut/trade Zay for years now. I assume anyone that is saying Cut Zay today was probably already on that bandwagon to begin with.
  22. It's bad, but for perspective, Allen was tied for 14th in the league for QB fumbles last year (of course he didn't play the entire season so he likely would have been higher if he had). QBs that fumbled more than him last year: Derek Carr Jared Goff Lamar Jackson Dak Prescott Case Keenum Josh Rosen Matt Ryan Russell Wilson Kirk Cousins Patrick Mahomes Marcus Mariota Deshaun Watson Carson Wentz He's undoubtedly off to a bad start this year in that regard though. Point being, QBs fumble the ball a lot in general; Allen fumbles more than most but he's not a huge outlier or anything.
  23. I know the answer because I too read The Athletic article lol
