  1. If they win both games they are in the running. There will not be a wild card team coming out of the east this year.
  2. Two home games. Two division opponets. Miami and New York. Both winable. And winning both is a must. 1-1 is not gonna cut it if they realisticaly want a chance to win the division. Winning the division is the way into the play-offs as a wild card will be tough to come by. 9-7 could win this division. They win the next two they are 3-3. New England will lose at least once in their next two. So this is it. Sunday Oct. 9 and Sunday Oct. 16.
  3. I'd like Indy +14 also, only problem is they are -14. And all this automatic 3 points for homefield talk is all a bunch of bs. Some teams may be 4 or 5 points for their home field and some others may be 1 or 2 points. It's not like an automatic 3 points for homefield.
  4. Move Teague to left tackle and Preston to center. Then use Gandy to backup or even start at either guard spot. Then hopefully the big baby will be back this week because he is still and upgrade over Jerman.
  5. Well said Kasper. Thats why the late 80's to mid 90's was such a great time. Having went through all those losing years it made the winning so much sweeter.
  6. I think they have enough issues than worrying about drafting another runner.
  7. TD, I have an idea for your pitiful o-line. Why don't you use some high draft picks next year to pick some talented lineman. You know like picks in rounds 1 and 2. That way you may be able to give McNally a little talent to work with. Of course you better not be the one picking the o-lineman since you already screwed that up once with baby Mikey, let McNally pick two lineman he wants with the first two picks and you sit in your office and feed Ralph your bs and stay out of the way.
  8. #14 - getting to full speed. Since OJ.
  9. say we need to build an o-line, we need to use high draft picks on quality o-lineman, but for some reason the "football minds" at One Bills Drive can't see it. And now we are paying the price and it will not get better until the o-line gets better. I don't care who is playing the skill positions if your line sucks your offense will suck. It's really not that hard to fiqure out but the "football men" can't seem to understand that.
  10. I thought the o-line was good with "Big Mike" leading the way. Oh I forgot "Big Mike" didn't play again.
  11. All of them.
  12. Let Wyche take over the play calling and send Pittsbugh boy back home.
  13. Tom Clements should be fired. Terrible play calling. Is there some rule where Willis is not allowed to carry the ball two times in a row ?
  14. No problem for the Saints kicker on the 40 yarder.
  15. Well well what else is new. Another missed fg from over 40 yds. Any NFL kicker can make all the 30 yarders.
  16. Why the f aren't they running Willis.
  17. And when does he start proving his worth ? I know it won't be this week because he's not playing again.
  18. He will never be a pro bowl player because he doesn't care. He could care less and all he is here for is the paycheck.
  19. I would feel better about the big stiff if he decided to play once in a while.
  20. That all depends on which test you get. the Miami Hurricane test or the Princeton Tiger test.
  21. I think the only position where it has some correlation to performance is qb for obvious reasons. But then again Jimbo wasn't actually a scholar.
  22. Yes they are comparable. both are average and Winstrom is way over paid. AS is not a big time pass rusher. He does well against average/below average o-tackles and becomes non existent in some games.
  23. Pretty good post and I agree with most except, Schobel is not an excellent d-end. He is average and TD vastly overpaid him. Mike Williams has pro bowl potential but it is questionable if he will ever reach that status. Also you don't draft a right tackle at #4 and pay him that kind of money. We won't even discuss his injuries, and lack of commitment. He has missed on some early d-line draft picks that should be key contributers at this point, but are not. { Denny, Anderson,Edwards } Other than that He has done a pretty good job. But he is not the best gm in football.
  24. There are alot of good o-lineman coming out in next years draft. They already have an extra 3rd from the Henry trade and will get some type of compensation picks for Jennings and Williams. They have no excuse not to get a left tackle and a guard early in that draft. I'm not talking 5th, 6th rd type players, I want 1st to 3rd type players. And one more thing TD, for cripe sakes look into the players psyche a little more. We don't need any more 6'5' 380 lb. wussies who won't play if they have a hang nail.
  25. Doesn't it piss anyone else off that our "franchise" right tackle seems to take every third week off with some kind of problem. Mental, physical or probably both. Whats his status this week ? Anyone know ? Is he practicing or watching ?
