Who Starts At QB For Week 2? (Poll)
Fred Clause replied to Paulus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The a Jets will soon have to start paying their players and the cap will disappear quickly they have been rebuilding 2 years more and those rookie deals are going to start to end very soon... -
Count on to be spanked by the Rams...
-
It what world are you allowed to lead with your helmet into a QB’s midsection then fake your momentum and drop your full body weight onto him? I thought they were trying to protect the Qb’s in this league?
-
Yes, same crappy play calling ?
-
You can’t argue against people with an agenda who don’t look at scenarios objectively...
-
So you think he would have the same success if was playing behind our line?
-
90% of his throws are 5 yard uncontested passes, his receivers actually get seperation. His last TD throw should have been intercepted but still he looks in control and for the most part is making good decisions..
-
Should have been intercepted though...

Every Josh Allen Throw Vs. Ravens
Fred Clause replied to Prickly Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The joke is your observations, comparing EJ to Allen and not seeing the difference is bad enough. But saying the Bills can’t develop Allan after less than 2 Quarters of relief with a pathetic surrounding cast is laughable, makes you look ignorant... The receivers never got seperation the whole game, nothing changed except one qb actually got his passes into a catchable zone while the other couldn’t... -

You obviously see what you want to see, but you know what you don’t see? Wide receiver seperation. On a lot of the throws that miss, if they were tighter, there is a good chance of a interception. Watch Brady, watch almost every other Qb in this league and what you won’t see is almost every freakin pass has to be in a tight window because their receivers can’t get open to save their lives. It’s unbelievable how little of seperation this group gets on every single play... -
I got ridiculed for saying it last week, but Peterman only had two drives in the first preseason game against number one defenders. He never faced real pressure from top defenders in any of his play after that. It was a recipe for disaster as well as the rotation that went on for the Qb competition. A number one should have been chosen sooner with the experience of the contestants being so young. That being said, most qb’s would struggle with the inefficiency of the o-Line and the inability of the receivers to gain seperation as the Bills displayed yesterday. But Even I was surprised at how poor Peterman performed.

I had the Saints in one and Geeen Bay in another , I thought I was done the first week, Rodgers saved us?
-
No,...No we are worse....???

Peterman was the Qb who was protected in the pre-season. He only had two drives against starting d’s. One TD and one Int. was the result. The plan was never to start Allen, they made it look like Perterman was the logical choice, but it was never a fair competition by design. It will be much easier to play Allen if Perterman fails. But if they had started Allen and he struggled the pressure to pull him would have been immense, his development would be delayed. If Peterman is able to succeed, it buys more time for Allen to absorb the process before facing the fire. But anyone who thinks that Peterman faced anything like Allen faced against Cinci is not being honest, the players and pressure was different and so was the play calling. Im not saying I’m against Peterman starting, nor do I want him to fail. But I don’t think they ever wanted Allen starting this season, the proof is how they ran the pre season reps, during practice & during games. Maybe they know this O-line needs time to gel and hopefully Peterman buys them that time....

If you hate the Bills why are you here?
Fred Clause replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nobody says you have to agree lockstep with the ownership and management, but when your takes are hot garbage, (Not yours in particular) don’t expect the board to blow sunshine up your butt or be angry when it doesn’t happen and double down on your stupidity... -
Right now, who is the Bills best Qb?
Fred Clause replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Um Tom Brady one of the fastest averaged about 2.5 Seconds to get a pass off. So instead of trying to be the cool assclown, How about you use realism in your analysis, Nate while under pressure at San Deigo certainly smoked um??? -

Show me what was wrong with the statement???? You can’t. It’s pretty obvious, this team isn’t going anywhere this year. Should we let Allen take his lumps now or later? I don’t care if Peterman starts if that’s what’s best for Allen, Peterman will never be the long term answer. He may have had a good preseason, but he never faced the pressure Josh saw against Cinci, since the San Diego game. So to say he would perform any better against that is just a guess. In the end I hope Allen gets 4-6 starts this year, so next year when the rebuild gets kicked up, he has a good feel for the game. -

And at what time during the preseason did Peterman face the kind of Pressure Allen saw against Cincinnati? Yeah I thought so, not since San Diego’s, we all saw how that went... -

One drive against a vanilla 1st string D and the rest of his preseason success was against 2nd and 3rd string. It’s not going to be pretty... -
Ian Rapoport: "Josh Allen is not quite ready" to start
Fred Clause replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Open your mind, if you think Peterman would have done any better, we saw what happened to AJ. Only one of his throws came from a clean pocket, he rarely had more than 1.5 Seconds before the pressure was in his face, had contact in under 1.3 Seconds on one play. Tell me again how you were able to judge a performance under those conditions. Yes lazy and pathetic assessment , worthless, baseless crap.... -
Ian Rapoport: "Josh Allen is not quite ready" to start
Fred Clause replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The review of the plays showed only one was his fault, possibly two, but the review did not show if any receivers were open. Many plays he had under 2 Seconds before contact . The longest play he had, he hit butter fingers Benjamin in the hands and he dropped it. So that’s pretty much a false narrative. The play calling was atrocious for the pressure, but maybe they don’t want to start him so they let him suffer and make it look like he’s not ready. If they really wanted to see what he could do they would have implemented plays that slowed down or avoided the pressure. Very poor assessment. Lazy at best...
