If the the owner, GM and Coach have his back unlike in years past, this shouldn't matter, we know its a rough schedule, most likely his teammates know this, if he has the mental toughness to be a franchise QB he'll get over losses and bad games.

This type of thinking is so weird to me, its not how it works at all, its totally simple, the second Josh Allen plays 1 bit better than the other 2 he will start, no one looks at any of that other nonsense in real life.

Good thread, however I just want to point out that starting a rookie too early is not a real thing, certainly not in EJ Manuel's case, if you are gonna be good it will happen eventually. Talking heads make up all type of nonsense that coaches and players don't recognize as ever being a factor.
