  1. I don't think Lamar Jackson is necessarily a good fit for Buffalo. But calling him TT2 is lazy and ridiculous. Tyrod is not in the same universe as an athlete as Jackson. Call him MV2 if you have to label him.
  2. I'm no expert. Just playing around with mock drafts those are names that came up often it seemed in the positions we were picking. I do know he's very fast and that's something I would love to add on the edge, has the frame to add weight and muscle. and I think he's just starting to scratch the surface of what he can be.
  3. Trade up to 6 for 12/22/65 6 - Josh Rosen 53 - Lorenzo Carter 56 - Frank Ragnow 96 - Auden Tate 121 - Ian Thomas 166 - Joseph Noteboom 187 - Parry Nickerson
  4. Maybe on a value chart. But I am afraid the Bills first rounder next year is gonna be top 5-10. I'd hate for them to let that go.
  5. I think the Giants ultimately trade down but don't want to drop to 12. They want Barkley, Chubb or Nelson. That's why the talk of the 3 team deal whether it be the Browns, Broncos or Colts as the 3rd team. You value gurus, would this even be close? And I would hope this would be contingent on Bills having their pick of Darnold - Rosen or Mayfield at 2 Bills - #2 Giants - #6 - #22 - #56 - 2019 second Colts - #12 - #53 - #96 - Shaq Lawson
  6. Next years 1st should be off the table in any trade. That's going to be a high pick I'm afraid. I'd trade this years firsts, a second and the high 3rd to get to #4. And that would only happen if Darnold or Mayfield were there. Id go both firsts and the high 3rd to get to 6 if any of the projected top 4 prospects were there.
  7. Living in KY I have seen a lot of Lamar. He's an electric athlete who can do things I haven't seen since Vick. But as others have stated, his style will lead him to injury I am afraid. And I agree that the Bills seem to be looking for a traditional drop back passer. They were ready to bench Tyrod for Peterman for gods sake. If the Bills took him at 22 I wouldn't be unhappy. He can be unreal at times. But we would hold our breath each time he took the field waiting for that season ending hit.
  8. No way would I give up BOTH seconds and next years 1 as well. This years first rounders, one second and next years first maybe. Or this years first and second rounders. That being said. I'm not sure why Cleveland would want more draft picks. They may be looking for established players instead. Beckham may be part of the deal and the Giants wanting the picks.
  9. Browns - Darnold Giants - Barkley Jets - Mayfield Browns - Chubb Broncos - Allen Bills - (Trade 12 & 22 & 65) Rosen Bucs - Nelson Bears - Fitzpatrick Niners - Ward Raiders - Smith Dolphins - James Colts - Davenport Skins - Vea Packers - Edmunds Cowboys - (Trade with Cards) Ridley Ravens - Payne Chargers - Landry Seahawks - McGlinchey Cards - Jackson Lions - Lorenzo Carter Bengals - Donte Jackson Colts - Isaiah Wynn
  10. My latest mock from walkthemock.com for BUF via Default ranking 1:12 - QB Josh Allen, Wyoming 1:22 - C James Daniels, Iowa 2:21 - DE Harrison Phillips, Stanford 2:23 - TE Mike Gesicki, Penn St. 3:1 - WR Equanimeous St. Brown, Notre Dame 3:32 - CB Dane Cruikshank, Arizona 4:21 - LB Shaquem Griffin, UCF 5:29 - LB Jack Cichy, Wisconsin 6:13 - OT Joseph Noteboom, TCU One I did. I wouldn't hate it.
  11. 6 is the spot we need to get to. The Browns are taking Darnold. The Giants would have taken him but take Barkley. The Jets I think will take Rosen. The Browns then take Chubb. The Broncos take Allen. I don't think any of these top 5 trade down. The Colts I think want Chubb but since he is gone will trade down with the Bills and we take Mayfield. At least in my mind that's what's gonna happen. ?
  12. There seems to rarely be a sure thing with drafting a QB. This QB class seems to be the same in that regard. If the Bills are intent on giving up that much draft capital for the #2 , I think it's probably smart to draft the guy who has a cannon over the others.
  13. With all the recent negative news on Lamar Jackson I think he will be there at 22. I'm not sure the Bills could afford to pass on him at that spot. He may bust. But he also may be Michael Vick. Edmunds at 12 and Lamar at 22 wouldn't make me mad.
  14. I've been thinking the Bills should stay put and take Jackson at 12. I don't think the other 4 will be there. But that score would make me take him off the board. Think now the Bills have to at least get to 6. Otherwise let's hope Edmunds or the Georgia LB are still there at 12 and shoot for a Lauletta type in Rd 2 or 3.
  15. Would be a great draft. Not sure about the LB in second. Think there might be some really solid O lineman still there at that spot.
  16. I just hope we don't overpay. I'm not sold that any of these QB's are worth it. We should deal from a position of strength. If we go to 2 I really hope it's for Mayfield. Otherwise I'd stay at 12 and draft Jackson.
  17. True. I'm just speaking in terms of the trade value of the pick. There was a chance that pick could net the second QB before the Jets deal.
  18. The Bills have a position of strength on this thing. I don't think there are going to be that many teams involved in going up to 2. I tell you what lost its value with the Jets move. The Browns #4.
  19. Denver isn't selling the farm to trade up to 2. They like Keenum and will take their chances that the guy they want will be there at 5 or they may trade down themselves. Miami may trade up but they have don't have the Bills draft capital.
  20. Thats a little hyperbolic but I get your point. 2 firsts and 2 seconds does not seem like chicken feed to me. That's 4 potential starters for a team in dire need of OL help that appears to be sticking with Eli. What other team can top that offer? Add a third this yr but that would be it for me.
  21. Way too steep. Beane needs to stick to his guns. 12-22-65- next yr 2nd
  22. I think with the signing of McCarron the Bills hope Smith or Edmunds are there at 12. Then if Jackson is there at 22 they take him. If not they go OL or CB while looking at some of the other QB targets in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. The Richmond QB may be an option in those rounds. I am not so sure they trade up as I was before.
  23. My ultimate draft would be for Jackson to drop to us and the edge rusher from UTSA. Maybe get Sony Michele in the second.
  24. Jackson is light years a better athlete than Taylor. He's Vick 2.0. Personally I'd rather take my chances with that than draft a career back- up like Rudolph. I'd rather stick with Peterman and draft for other needs than do that.
  25. Absolutely would trade both firsts and a second this year for Darnold. Don't think that would be enough though.
